My wife saw Dr M at the hospital and he was wonderful, attentive and more importantly was able to help my wife with Kidney stones.

Are you son of Robert Merrill❓ I knew dr. Merrill years ago, he was a great dr. Just FYI, a positive note.

Not very caring about your time . I was there before 2 other patients same appointment time. The room I waited in was pretty dirty dead spiders, qtips, plastic waste on ground. Didn't even meet Dr since Its 11 o'clock and he hasn't showed up

The doctor was nice and helpful sometimes but not enough. He didn't always listen or believe me or do what other doctors normally do like an exam. Too many of the office staff were unprofessional, incompetent, and unfriendly. I had to call and go in multiple times for the same issues and they don't return calls or online messages usually. I was xferred so many times (& to the wrong dept) without even telling me they were xferring me then to people that weren't even there. Hard to get my script filled or test results. Only financial person who was nice and helpful but when she wasn't there there was noone I could talk to which delayed my help. Urodynamics was so uncomfortable on a slanted down table holding your legs up by muscle alone and then the lube leaked and they had to start over. The equipment isn't as modern as their name sounds or nice office appears. Only one locked restroom for men and women in the lobby which is odd for how big it is and for people with bladder issues.

Dr. Merrell is great. compassionate, cares for his patients and always willing to answer our questions and concerns. His Staff is great, courteous, helpful and caring. Highly recommend Dr. Merrell and his practice

His good doctor, was very friendly, Explained . But the office staff very bad. I called 4 times , very Rude when they Answer !!! Waiting for my prescription too long

Dr. Merrell is skilled, personable and professional. The surgery he performed was outstanding, and my results exceeded my expectations. I sincerely recommend him as a high-quality urologist.

Highly recommend Dr Merrell and his staff .... Excellent attention to detail

Dr. Merrell is a good listener, he cares and tries to find the answer for problems if he does not know what the issue is. His staff and surgery center were very professional and helpful. I was happy with my service so I referred family and friends to their office. Some see Dr. Merrell others see Dr. Dineen and Dr. Lawindy. I am pleased with this Advamced Urology in Daytona. Dr. Merrell is nice and pleasant. I appreciate the time Ashley B. took tonmake had an appointment within a reasonable time. I'm also thankful when I've had to reachedule and appointment that i was able to speak with someone and not leave a message. Dr. Merrell is an awesome Doctor. He is so compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable and a great doctor to put your trust in. He actually LISTENS when his patients speak. He makes sure you feel at ease. He is never judgemental. I have never felt better since I chose Dr. Merrell as my doctor.

He sucks!!!!! Piss poor bed side manner, not thorough and does not present himself as caring. He told me to come in for a CT if I ever have a kidney stone issue again and when I had my 415 afternoon appointment, he told me at 510 pm he could not do it at their clinic due to them closing. I have been in pain for 2 days and have waited until today to get in to see him. This is my 2nd time in his office and I am extremely disappointed at his lack of care and willingness to take care of his patients!!! He SUCKS!!!!!

This man operated on my husband and told us he got it ALL (cancer), and after going to MAYO we were told that the margins were clearly NOT cancer free when the uterer was reattached to the bladder. Now my husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (all within a 6 month period)! This doctor also made fun of me in front of my husband for asking questions... so rude & cocky I had to leave the room. In my opinion, this doctor needs to grow up and have some compassion and respect for other people searching for help! You have been warned!!!

The Website for the Advanced Urology Institute lists "kidney problems" among the conditions they treat. I was waiting for the first appointment with Dr. Merrell for about 3 weeks. Immediately, upon my arrival, I was requested to pay for the service, which I did. I was asked to give the urine sample, which I did. However, as soon as Dr. came , he said that he is a surgeon and does not treat kidney "medical" problems. He did not answer ANY of my questions about the test numbers and provided no mentioning about the results of the urine sample testing in his office. He gave me the name of a "medical" nephrologist elsewhere. The list of the services provided by AUI must be modified to accurately reflect the actual services offered. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for the appointment . I and my Insurance paid for the services that I did not receive. Dr. Merrell took great care of me. Highly recommend.

Dr Merrell was on call when my mother was re-admitted into the hospital for a failed kidney stent. Very knowledgeable, patient, funny and caring. We love all the Urologists at Advanced Urology.

Very knowledgeable, good communicator, not rushed, very satisfied patient.

Dr. Merrell is first class. One of the finest doctors I have ever met. A true professional and a pleasure to be around. Dr. Merrell's office management and organization (Advanced Urology) are a second class joke. See Dr. Merrell without hesitation...but watch out for all administrative issues. So bad I had to finally leave his practice.

The front desk person was not the most friendly. However the nurse was very efficient and pleasant. Dr Merrell was very professional, approachable, and thorough. Visiting a urologist for my first time did concern me. Dr Merrell answered all my questions, provided complete information about my situation and made me feel confident with the follow-on steps. I will recommend him.

Dr Merrell is a competent physician who, in my experience, is hampered by a very incompetent group of nurses and office staff. It has proven very difficult or impossible to contact him regarding severe bleeding. I was scheduled for stat blood tests, but the office failed to follow up to obtain the results for four days. I was discharged from surgery without seeing him. If you call the office you find a very difficult system to re-route your phone calls. Overall, I changed Drs.
