Dr. Matthew David Milewski

Dr. Milewski was excellent in treating my broken foot. He continually showed an eagerness and willingness to field questions I had through out the process. He was very candid and eager to help throughout my recovery. He also has a great team around him that made it all so much more manageable for me. I am extremely grateful for the care that he and his team has given me.

Dr milewski has the skill, compassion and sensitivity every surgeon should aspire to have, my son tore his ACL playing football and because of him his leg is better than new. He is a straight shooter when it comes to his diagnosis and what expectations we should have for healing. I couldn't have asked for a better DR or human being to treat my son

I have worked as an NP with Dr Milewski directly for several years. The best testimony I can give is that I have chosen him to care for both of my children & continue to highly recommended him for friends' children. He astutely diagnosed a rather rare condition in my son's knees. After a period of conservative treatment; Dr Milewski operated on both of his knees. My 13 yr old son has since returned to full year round sports. There are days when clinics are busy and some families need more time than they were allotted. Dr Milewski works to meet the needs of each patient which naturally can make some patients wait. I typically describe Dr Milewski as a cross between stereotypes of an orthopedic surgeon & a pediatrician. This is because he is so skilled in his specialty and is very empathetic.

My twelve year old daughter broke two bones during a hockey game. Dr. Milewski and his team expedited her surgery and were amazingly professional throughout our experience at the hospital and follow ups. He explained everything to my daughter and us as parents and we all felt she was cared for and in wonderful hands. She is now recovering extremely well and is excited to resume hockey. If you're looking for an excellent doctor, Dr. Milewski is hands down awesome.

My Daughter has had knee surgery on both knees with Dr. Milewski. He was always supportive and understanding of our concerns and questions throughout this long process. He has a great bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and most of all my daughter feel comfortable with him. She can now be active with confidence because of his great work both educating her and obviously with the surgeries. We recommend him highly!!!

Dr. Matt Milewski has seen three of our five kids, and has provided the best care for each of them. Their cases varied in their complexities, and he was incredible in his ability to not only provide the best care, but communicate with each of them, educate them on their injuries and healing process, as well as inform them how to best build their strength, mobility and athleticism going forward. We truly are lucky to have doctors like him in Boston, and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Milewski treated my 10 year old for a knee injury, as well as wrist and hand injuries. He was always professional, kind, and respectful to us both at every appointment. His care & treatment recommendations led to her healing well before expected. Additionally, I appreciated his attention to responding to any questions or concerns I had after hours or in between appointments. Dr Milewski and his team at Boston Children’s is remarkable! They guided our family through the planning, surgery, recovery and rehab, and second minor surgery to remove screws to treat our son’s double leg fracture at the ankle. During Covid-19. We hoped for a healthy recovery and future, but didn’t expect him bounce back to 100%. It’s a testament to their expertise that he is pain free, healthy and now plays 3 high school sports. He evaluated my knee injury which ended up being an ACL tear. He took his time answering my questions and was knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend him.

Dr Milewski identified an uncommon condition, OCD, in my 11 yr old son’s knees in it’s early stages. I am grateful that he saved him from having major cartilage damage. Dr M is particularly patient & thoughtful when explaining things. He also gave us resources he trusted in case we wanted to learn more. He was not eager to operate, but eventually my son did need surgery on both his knees which we understood from the beginning was a possibility. Dr. M participates in international research and he’s very active in other academics as well. My son is so happy to be back to playing sports all year around without any trouble. I have sent many of my friends’ children his way for care. They all have been exceptionally pleased

Truly if I could leave a negative star review I would, he constantly compared me to other people who have psychological issues, and was extremely dismissive. He doesn't really care for his patients like he should, and he constantly acts like it's not his problem and that having constantly dislocated joints is due to anxiety. Not only was he rude to the patient, but also to the parent, it is absolutely ridiculous that an orthopedic is trying to be a psychologist. If he was in the position it would be a completely different situation. He is unprofessional and I would absolutely never recommend him to anyone.

My son fractured his hip in 2012, Dr. Milewski was attentive and extremely patient. He reasured my son he would make a full recovery and he did. Great office staff and the best doctor.
