Dr Miller is a very thorough and personable Physician. I would highly recommend Advanced Dermatology and Dr Miller to anyone who needs a Dermatologist.

Dr. Miller never stopped using a laser on my skin when I told him I could feel it. It was very painful and he never acknowledged my request to stop. Will never see him again.

Says number is disconnected that is on website. Charged Medicare for 14 skin lesions removed with a laser, etc. I had one wart removed from under fingernail. Can’t get ahold of anyone.

I mentioned the recent passing of my father and he expressed concern and regret.

My only beef about my 0800 hours appointment this morning was the temperature of the examining room -- Chilly!

From the time from checking in to the exam, the service was excellent! The nurses was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Miller is excellent ! I highly recommend Grenville Dermatology.

I was referred to Dr. Miller by a friend who said he was very professional and thorough. Dr. Miller answered all my questions and explained clearly what was going to be done. He heard me chatting to the nurse and offered a suggestion for a concern I had (not the reason I made the appointment) and asked me more about it and offered a solution. Very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I've used Dr. Miller for several years and for those of us with fair skin, its mandatory to know that the moles and freckles are harmless. Peace of mind is important for the most preventable cancer.

Fast, professional, couldn’t have been better

Upon arrival I was greeted by the front desk and was asked to sign in. The sign in sheet was blank and completely white. I tried signing but couldn't write on it so I mentioned it to the blonde sitting on my right. She pointed out the blue field at the bottom of the form. I believe I signed in on #20. I signed in and sat down. Both of the girls made comments about it and laughed. "I don't understand how people can't see where to write." As if I couldn't hear them. Not only was is not clear where to write, there was no direction given. If these 2 geniuses know this is an issue, why not just point it out instead of making fun of patients who make the mistake? This is the only office where I have had to physically sign in since before Covid. Their attitude set the tone for the rest of my visit, and it made me feel like I wasn't important or valued as a patient. This is grade school behavior and there is no excuse for poor customer service. I really don't know if I'll be coming back.

Thorough review and attention to detail

Dr. Miller spent approximately 5 minutes in the exam room with me which included not only his "prescription" explanation to me but also a FULL body exam. He was very brief/short in his answers to my questions even though I truly wanted to learn. If you are wanting a holistic dermatologist knowledgeable on modern and alternative approaches to chemical ridden prescriptions, look elsewhere.

I came for an annual checkup. Dr. Miller found a potentially dangerous growth, removed it and sent it for biopsy.

I've been seeing Dr. Miller for several years and my latest appointment was no different from the others; Dr. Miller and his staff have always been very courteous, friendly and professional. At the end of each appointment, Dr. Miller asks me if I have any questions and he takes the time to answer the questions thoroughly.

Short but good visit. Advised me a visit to the Hematologist would give me an answer to my problem. In the meantime gave me 2 Rx’s to help get some relief.

Terrible experience. Had to wait 30 minutes in waiting room which was packed. I scheduled a check up and Dr. Miller didn't check anything unless I pointed to it. When I pointed to a spot on my nose, he grabbed the gun and froze it with zero warning it was coming. He couldn't have spent more than 3 minutes in the office and I just got the bill for $162. Facility is always clean and everyone is super professional. Dr. Miller is friendly, very prompt and answers any questions.

UPDATE: 10 days later I went back to get biopsy stitches taken out. I was told I would see doctor, but only saw nurse. While I was checking out, results came back from biopsy. My nurse was talking to dr. Miller in hall about what to put on the now-identified rash. Since I was standing 5 feet from conversation, I walked over. He said it is eczema, and he would use a stronger topical cortisone creme. When I said, so it is eczema? He said yes. Once again, he had no helpful information to provide, though I didn't know anything about eczema. He was so cocky and dismissive the week before that whatever it was, it wasn't anything I needed a dermatologist for- I wanted to remind him what he told me the week before, now that he was wrong. However, I'd never put a dent in his patronizing armor, and I never intend to see him again, so it was a moot point. February 2022: I have a covid related skin rash all over my hands and on my fingertips. Dismissive attitude, no bedside manner, he was done looking at me in 5 minutes, although he did do a biopsy. I asked if my fingertips were the same problem as my fingers; he didn't even look at my fingertips and didn't even answer me. Same when I told him about itching on my feet. Didn't even look at them - and I was wearing sandals! He said my problem wasn't dermatology related so he couldn't tell me anything. I have moles I am concerned about, but will find a dermatologist who has time to be thorough. I originally gave Dr Miller a two stars, but realized his apathy and quick dismissal could have serious repercussions. I wouldn't trust him to take care of life or death cancer concerns. Thorough, caring

Had something on my nose that I was concerned about so had Dr Miller look at it. This was my first time seeing him. From the minute I walked in the door the staff was super nice and moved the check in process along quickly. The nurse was also awesome. Dr Miller had my skin mark removed and I was in and out in no time at all. I highly recommend Dr Miller and his team!

ANNUAL CHECK UP

This was a follow up visit. Dr. Miller has been patiently working on resolving blisters that had formed around my lips. This had been going on for months. At this visit they were totally gone. I am so impressed with Dr. Miller and his diligence with my issue. He was encouraging and totally resolved the problem with no scaring. He is kind and patient. He has marvelous staff.

I WAS MADE TO FEEL WELCOME AND ALL COURTESY EXTENDED. DR. MILLER KNEW JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO DO AND PRESCRIBED THE PROPER OINTMENTS FOR ME. HE SAID I WOULD SEE IMPROVEMENT IN ABOUT A WEEK BUT IT STARTED GETTING BETTER BEFORE A WEEK WAS PASSED. HOWEVER IT IS STILL HEALING AND THE OINTMENTS HE TELEPHONED IN TO OUR PHARMACY ARE SEEMING TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.

Wait time was just a little bit longer than usual. Otherwise, no problems!

Dr. Miller performed my annual body exam which went well. Dr. Miller is thorough, explaining details during the exam. He’s always been respective of my time and the entire appointment lasted thirty minutes. I’ve been going to Dr. Miller for twenty year as he’s the best in Greenville.

I have been a patient for many years. I have recommended many friends to Dr. Miller. With the new “changes” my visit seem different. Had to wait 5 days to receive a appointment (no one called back for days)because of the snow we had. The phone system now is lacking in “personal touch”. Will I continue with Dr. Miller, absolutely, and hope soon the changes will be more positive than they are now. Sure hope the “personal touch” In this practice is not lost.

Very helpful Doctor, would recommend to someone I knew.

Horrible. Stood five feet away to shout misdiagnosis (he said Covid right away, no exam). He actually asked the nurse (also five feet away) if she saw something on me, like the exam was high school. He ignored all history (initial cause & 4 week timeline) and all other treatments. The rash was on my face and neck, when he aggressively, resentfully pretends to look, he pulls up the skirt part of the gown and never really looked at my neck or face. He wrote a script for one pound corticosteroids. When I went to another Derm who actually looked, she told me the corticosteroids would have made to fungal infection much worse. This was a classic case of projected hysterical woman. If you’re a young healthy looking woman and you have a problem, go somewhere else. There are other dermatologist who will actually listen and look.

He isn’t the most friendly and he didn’t explain how painful the aftercare would be. He also just kept saying I was fat and that’s why I have skin tags, however, the work he did had great results.

Dr. Miller is a phenomenal physician and totally understands the skin. I've been going to him for at least 15 years. If you want flawless skin, he's the one. Great dermatologist!!!

Very happy with my first visit to Dr. Miller. He was very kind and open to answering questions - and handled my incision very quickly and efficiently. It took longer for me to fill out the new patient paperwork than it did for Dr. Miller to handle my visit! Excellent initial visit. Decided to set up an annual appt. with him.

Guy needs to do his research. There are topical drugs for lice and lice are hard to see. I told him I had tried otc and prescription topical drugs and he gives me a prescription anti itch cream? What a waste of time and money. I did an online dermatology appointment associated with Walgreens. Bad to say a college dropout knows more than a doctor sheesh

My appointment that I made three months in advance was canceled by Dr. Miller’s office at 4:45 pm on Thursday for the following Monday. Okay, things happen. I was then scheduled to see his PA on that Monday. I drove 45 minutes to get there and I was told I am not on the schedule. Two strikes. I can’t get another appoint for 2 and a half weeks. Not favorably impressed.

Worst dermatologist EVER!! Rushed in and out, such a jerk!! I wasted my hard earned money, not knowledgeable at all , please don’t waste your time or money on Dr Miller and I hate even calling him a doctor !!!! The overall experience wasn’t terrible I guess. I showed up and they didn’t know my name and had the wrong procedure listed... I had three small cysts removed from my arms. Which only took the doctor a few minutes each. Left some pretty decent scars but I guess that’s not that important. Now the billing is something special. Dr. Miller saved us about $4,800. We went to see Dr. Miller for a second opinion after another dermatologist told us a regular dermatologist couldn't remove a large, potentially cancerous growth on my daughter's head without leaving a large bald spot on her head. She'd possibly have to wear a pony tail for the rest of her life if their office took it off because the bald spot around the area would be so big and deep, they said. So they referred us to a plastic surgeon. Quote for surgery = $5,000, more than half of it out of pocket. Out of desperation, we went to see Dr. Miller. He not only removed it without the large bald spot, it was totally painless and small enough that no pony tail was needed to hide it. Cost = $169 out of pocket. The biopsy that was supposed to take 2 weeks came back in two days ... benign. Thank you for your competence and honesty, Dr. Miller! Dr. Miller saved us about $4,800. BEST Dermatology office in Greenville! I love how modern the office is & so clean. All staff was super nice but I have to brag on Dr. Miller & his nurse Christine specifically. Dr. Miller found a solution for every issue I had as well as gave me great tips about my skin & products I had been using that I had been misinformed about. After my visit a week later or so I needed to contact the office bk about a PA my insurance co needed & a ques about one of my rx and within an hour Dr. Miller's nurse, Christine, contacted me back and really went out of her way to give me the help I needed! With such poor customer service I've experienced in other offices, as well as just regular stores, I want to give credit where credit is due and this office certainly deserves it! I love Dr. Miller. He is thorough, kind, and patient. He never tries to rush you out. He listens to what you have to say and makes recommendations on what you can afford (cosmetic type stuff).
