Dr. Matthew David Pouliot

Doubled billed my insurance killing my benefits for the year. Lied to me about it, openly admits what they did and refuses to fix the issue. This so called pain "management Dr" has made things much much worse. I have been having this procedure done for 15 years with no issues until coming in contact with "Dr" (yes in quotes) Poulet. Please please do yourself a favor and stay away from this clinic.

15 years same procedure no issues works great...That is until I came across this clinic. Mistake on first one. Doubled billed insurance 2nd time screwing benefits for the year. That is causing me to live in extreme pain when there is a simple procedure to fix this issue. This place is all about the money, lucky if you can even see a Dr. They will push you in and out as fast as possible to get more patients in. Going to a pain Dr is never fun but this one is over the top HORRIBLE. Stay away!

I would not recommend Dr. Pouliot. I was supposed to get sedation for my second shot and I did not get that sedation. So the pain shot brought on a lot of pain. Doesn’t have a good bed side manner. Won’t go back.

Please be prepared if using this doctor for injections. It was painful for me. He doesn't use anesthesia staff, like a couple other doctors do in his practice.

Wanted to put me under anesthesia for "anxiety" and put this thing in my back that is now known for catching on fire.

TERRIBLE. Was in for steroid injection. He never clearly said he wanted to give a temporary block and no steroid as the referral was for. After wards I was given follow up paperwork and told for next injection in a week which I did't understand. I asked was there no steroid injection? No there wasn't. I was very angry. Will not see him again. Pouliet called after I complained to my referring doctor. He was condescending and told me he had hundreds of patients and he was doing the best for me. He didn't understand my background of being hit by car, four months and working with my referring doctor but quickly did what he decided with no clear communication with me. BEWARE

Dr. Pouliot is an amazing and caring physician and the best pain management physician I’ve ever had. He takes time with his patients and answers all of your questions. He truly cares about his patients.

The dude ruined my life I'm slowly dieing now because of his unprofessional decision to rip me off my medication I legally took and were prescribed by him for years. Now my quality of life is zero my wife has left and I cant even take care of myself. I contemplate suicide daily. And I'm only 30.

Love this Dr. Very busy but always takes the time when I have any questions or concerns. Patient for years and continue to be one.

He did my spinal trial and permanent implant procedures. He flies from Co. to hear in Nebraska at Lexington Regional Hospital. I see some negative reviews but my experience with him has been great. He listens good explains things well and takes all the time with you needed. I have seen dozens of Drs and pain specialists, therapists etc combined and He I would recommend to family and friends. He is caring and compassionate.

Dr. Pouliot performed a spinal injection last week that was extremely painful. I was not informed of this possibility and would have chosen to have sedation.

Dr. Pouliot is a most competent physician. He is amiable, informative and completely trustworthy. There is not one negative comment I can convey, and not enough superlatives that I can express to satisfy my feelings of this fine doctor.

Dr. Pouliot did injection, I am 1,000 times worse,unable to walk (using walker), swelling & pain, MRI & ultrasound performed,2 ER visits, Went BACK to Dr. Pouliot who didn’t examine me. He stood at a distance then said he sees no swelling. That’s the tests are fine nothing is wrong. I have photos that show the progression of my hip/leg swelling. I showed him, His words, “how do I know that’s you? How do I know these were taken in the time frame of having the injection?” THE WORST DR EVER

please do your research about this doctor. He has left me unable to walk, in extreme pain and my daily life activities are zero. He was beyond inappropriate the last time I did see him. Raising his voice at me, trying to make me feel like this was “all In my head” when the reality is none of the other doctors I have seen since Dr. Pouliot injured me agree with anything he is saying. Tney are all confident he didn’t do the injection properly and this has caused serious issues for me.

I am very happy with Dr. Pouliot. He is always willing to help me control my pain with whatever treatments available. He is busy, but when it is your turn he really focuses and pays attention to your needs. I moved here from California and left my pain management doctor there who I loved. I am just as happy with Dr. Pouliot and so grateful that I found him. His staff is very polite and nice. They are very helpful when dealing with these annoying insurance companies.

Dr Pouliot did a nerve burning procedure for my chronic back pain. It made my pain 1000 times worse. I've since been out of work for 6 months because of this procedure. No one from his office has done any follow up to see how I'm doing. I was the one who called to schedule a follow up appointment a week after the procedure. He spent 5-10 minutes with me answering questions but began walking out while I still had questions. I felt like I was wasting his time. I've heard nothing from him since.

Living with severe chronic pain is difficult and many pain specialty doctors seem to be insensitive and often unkind. Dr. Pouliot is anything but that ... He is genuinely caring, gentle, thorough and straightforward. He and his staff are kind and professional and a pleasure to work with.

Dr. Pouliot is a very caring doctor who listens to the patient. He listens to the patient concerns and addresses each of them in laymans terms. Dr. Pouliot keeps his knowledge updated and is willing to try and try again to help pain patients get their pain under control. I would certainly recommend Dr. Pouliot.

Dr.Pouliot is the most caring and understand Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His wait time is less than 30 minutes yet he still gives each patient the time they need. His staff is as caring as he is which gives me the reason I travel from Las Vegas Nv to Colorado to see him. The only thing I can say negative about Dr. Pouliot is his practice is in Colorado and I'm a patient who lives in Las Vegas. This doctor is a 1 in a million Doctor and I recommend anyone with severe back pain that the travel to see Doctor Pouliot is more than worth the time and money. I thank Dr. Pouliot for making my life manageable. The implant of my Medtronic stimulator has made my pain manageable so that I was able to cut my pain medication by three quarters. It would be nice if other doctors were as caring and had the bedside manner that this doctor has. If you suffer from severe back pain take the time to call this Doctor he will make your life a much better one.
