Dr. Matthew Timmins Stainbrook

I was referred to Dr. Stainbrook by my PCP. His office staff were friendly and scheduling was easy. Dr. Stainbrook however was unpleasant, rude, and arrogant. He entered the room and said "I don't know why you're here, you're not in kidney failure" and then seated himself and began to type away on his computer. He berated me about my medical history and insinuated I was somatic stating "you know if you think about something long enough it becomes a problem" and "if you had anything really bad you'd be dead by now anyway". He noted in his write up that I had seen "4 rheumatologists" and emphasized this several times in his report. I then learned my current rheumatologist is his sister in law AND his office provided her office with a copy of his written report. I am a respected professional in the area and have never treated a patient the way he treated me that day.
