Now that my daughters cast is off I can tell you that I would never recommend Dr. Wagner’s office to anyone. He has a horrible bedside manner and the staff is atrocious. They were rude and nasty. My daughter broke her elbow and the staff would not allow me inside with my 3 year old son. I understand the rules of COVID but come on, he’s 3. I had to call my husband to come to the office parking lot to pick him up while I went inside with my daughter. The staff was rude and the doctor seemed as if we were bothering him. Then when she got her cast off she had some abrasions from it getting a little wet. Instead of offering some help on what to do to alleviate the pain, the doctor just took her cast off and left the room. Wasn’t even in there 5 minutes. Will never go back to him again. Really helped us out!

Dr Wagner is patient and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and treat my daughter who we thought just had a sprained ankle. It turned out to be an extra bone growth that required surgery. He didn’t jump to that at first. He recommended physical therapy and then when that didn’t make her feel better then he performed the surgery. He is excellent and I whole heartedly recommend him! Dr Wagner is great. He is very kind and calm. He is great with the kids and understands that the kids want to get back out on the field. He explains everything so you can understand it also. He put a pin in my sons thumb and cast, my daughter fractured her hip. My children heal quickly and no reoccurring injuries. He is wonderful and so is his staff. Absolute worst ‘pediatric’ bedside manner.

Dr Wagner and his staff were very nice. I highly recommend them. He is on time with his appointments. The whole experience with his office was nice.

i can’t thank Dr. Wagner enough. My son had a very traumatic injury to his foot. I was not sure if it would need to be amputated. Dr. Wagner not only repaired it, his bedside manner kept my son calm through the whole process. The surgery went very well. The office was wonderful as well. Dr Matthew Wagner is simply the best....smart, skilled, patient and compassionate. My son experienced a very painful and traumatic double fracture and double dislocation of his arm this summer. He was in incredible pain and he is often unable to express or understand pain and to communicate because he has high functioning autism and ADHD. This doctor was so concerned and worked around a ton of anxiety and fear shown by my son. Nobody really does that...nobody. Many are skilled and smart but lack the empathy and compassion- not Dr Wagner. Thank god for him. The accident was so unfortunate but we were very unfortunate this doctor was on call and came right away and connected with my son and kept his pain controllable before and after surgery. Dr Wagner has been my sons orthopedic doctor for many years. My son suffers from an uncommon bone condition and dr Wagner has been nothing but wonderful and patient with both me and my son through many years. My son has had several successful surgeries by him. Dr Wagner is a fine Pediatric Orthopedic. As the father of 2 athletic teenage boys he has performed emergency surgery on both my sons. He repaired my older sons collarbone requiring placement of a screw and did it during Christmas week. In July he did surgery to repair my younger sons elbow requiring pins and bands. Through both experiences he explained the procedures to me and my wife thoroughly. I feel he has a fine manner and is highly professional. I felt his availability for appointments is fine. this is insane I called 4 times in the past 2 weeks because my “doctor” said I was fine when I had extreme hip pain and my trainer at school said he was wrong which makes sense because if I was ok I wouldn’t be in pain. My athletic trainer called multiple times to try to get the doctor to talk to him. Also the people on the phone are rude and I don’t appreciate that. I am so upset and disappointed in a doctors office. First time seeing him and he told my son it was a bruise when my Pediatrician said she wanted to get a MRI but she couldn't do it he could.My son for the first was in and out in 20 minutes and they did a xray and said if it still hurts come back in a month .I called because Dad took him and the nasty reception said how do I know he was misdiagnosed? What when did people talk like that .My response is because One I'm a mom and know the difference from a bruise and 2 I trust my Dr that sent us here she knew it wasn't a bruise.Very distasteful visit.Getting a second option was not happy at all .My son is still in pain and the sad part is this drs. Office dont care hes still hurt.Just shows he doesnt care about patients just his ego and that staff is just as bad.
