Dr Langfitt was very knowledgeable regarding the procedure. He was attentive to my needs and requests. He explained everything in simple terms so anyone can understand. I was also very impressed with the entire staff at Davie Medical. Everyone was very friendly and the facility was extremely clean.

I have never been to visit a doctor that I felt was more organized and as attentive to his /her patients as Dr. Langfitt. I had a lot of confidence in him and never felt rushed at any of my visits. He respected my time; both he and his staff were organized and on time.

Dr Langfitt is a terrific surgeon. He did a hip replacement on me and I am pain free now. He called me before surgery and after to check on me. I could not have ask for a better surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs hip replacement.

Dr. Langfitt is the most caring surgeon I have encountered in multiple different facilities and surgeries. Examples: he called me the night before surgery to see how I was doing and has called three times in the evening since discharge to check on me. His staff has emulated him and that shows excellent leadership on his part. Post-op was very smooth and problem free.

Dr. Langfitt made my total hip replacement a 5 star experience. Surgery removed the pain in my hip and back. My recovery and back to a life where I can do my normal activities was very quick. I had a total knee replacement with Dr Langfitt in February 2021. Although it took me over one year to work up to having the procedure, Dr Langfitt explained how I would know when it was time to proceed. He even called me the night before surgery, visited my room twice after surgery, and then called me at home to see if I had any questions. Dr Langfitt’s entire team was extremely professional and supportive providing much needed reassurance. As a retired RN with 40 years of experience I have to say the whole process was handled very carefully with extensive Covid precautions. The hospital staff worked as a synchronized team. Davie Medical Center provided exceptional top-quality nursing care from the preop assessment, surgery, and post op nursing care. Dr Langfitt and his PA, Joseph Baker are outstanding, experienced providers who take time with their patients. I will return when it’s time for my other knee!

Dr. Langfitt performed a total knee replacement for me. His entire team from x-ray to PAs and office staff were totally professional. Dr. Langfitt listened to me, treated me with utmost respect, contacted me personally at home on 3 different occasions which was totally unexpected and well appreciated. His surgery was flawless with minimal subsequent pain. I was up walking unaided in 3 days and finished my physical surgery three visits early. A good part of that recovery can be traced to his pre-op exercises that he gave me. Subsequent exercises and follow-up treatment were provided through Forc3e Therapeutics which was part of his total care program. Within one month I was back working construction and amazed at how quickly I recovered. Great Doctor, who treats his patients and staff with utmost respect. Awesome!!!!!!!!!

Dr Langfitt has wonderful bedside manners. He explained my procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions. He personally took the time to call me before and after my surgery to check on me and answer questions I may have. I am extremely satisfied with choosing him for my second opinion. I cannot say enough about how well my entire experience has been from my very first appointment, my surgery, my hospital stay, the staff at the hospital, and my recovery period. My experience was well above what I expected. He was very attentive to my issues and called me several times to see how I was doing before surgery and after surgery. He always answered my emails via the MyWake portal in a very timely manner. I never felt like I was bothering him with questions and he always spent enough time on any of my office visits.

Dr Langfitt performed total knee replacement for my left knee -Sept 2020 and I was up on my feet that afternoon. I was encouraged how to gain mobility. Given access to physical therapy before I left the hospital hat helped my home recovery. Encouraged through my outpatient PT to continue to gain strength and mobility. I was given access to the FORCE Therapeutics app that kept me on track the first several days, and weeks. It gave me an idea of what was normal. It provided me with a place to look for and achieve benchmarks in my recovery. Dr Langfitt called me at home to check on me. Him and his entire staff were professional and caring every step of the way. My scar is beautiful and pliable. My mobility is recovered far more than I could have imagined. I was walking up and down the street outside with my walker on day five post-op. I was off the walker at day 6. And didn't even need the cane after about 2.5 or 3 weeks. I got my life back and couldn't be happier!

As a veteran, I feel as if I've received the best possible care in our area. I'm so pleased to know that the VA has partnered with Dr. Langfitt's Orthopedic Practice and Care, and have told the VA about my excellent experience.

Dr. Langfitt did a hip replacement surgery for my dad when other surgeons were too concerned with his underlying medical conditions. Not only did he do a great job, but Dr. Langfitt has a wonderful demeanor.

Have had both hips replaced by Dr. Langfitt and very satisfied with the results. I would give him 10 stars if I could, he , and his team are all professionals and caring,Couldn't ask for a better physician.

I've been a RN for 37 yrs and have had the opportunity to be around with many physicians in all types of practice. My 82 y/o dad fell Sept. 2018 and broke his right hip. Dr. Hurley from CVMC repaired it and discharged him to a rehab center. Dad fell again while in rehab less than 24 hrs. He was referred to a Dr. who shall remain nameless for a hip replacement because Dr. Hurley did not do them. The no name Dr. kept kicking the can down the road during every visit saying dad needed to do this and that before surgery. He even later said dad's hip was healed, it was in his mind he could not walk, and there was nothing physically wrong. The right leg was 3 inches shorter and turned outward with his toes pointing east instead of north. I heard of Dr. Maxwell Langfitt and got an appointment the next week. Dr. Langfitt said dad's hip was not healed he could treat him for pain or replace it. He did the surgery the very next week. Dad is recovering well. I thank God for Dr. Langfitt!!!

This Doctor is an excellent surgeon. Dr.Langfitt performed my hip replacement approximately six weeks ago. I am extremely happy with the results. Six weeks ago I had almost unbearable bone on bone pain 24 hours a day. Dr. Langfitt was very professional, caring, answered all of my questions, and most importantly, gave me a hip that works beautifully.
