Dr. Meena R. Totlani

Very rude and unprofessional!! Last week when I called to make an appointment Dr. Totlani herself picked up phone and also later in the week when I reschedule much more than 24 hours before appointments but she talked so rudely, yelling at me asking "do you not trust me?" And today when I decided to cancel appointment she threatened me to report. This doctor is scary and very very shady!! DO NOT GO!!!

Horrible service, Dr. Meena Totlani I would say is the worst doctor I ever visited. She was very rude to me and my mom. Not profesional at all. I should've dome more research before selecting this doctor. Business name/website appears to be a professional facility but is a sole operation out of a dodgy looking house. Says you can schedule an online appointment but just leads you to a form to fill out your details to be contacted - so I did and was never contacted. So I rang and the DR answers herself, but does not identify herself or the business when answering. Luckily, I managed to find a better doctor and cancelled my appointment. AVOID! I have never done a bad review ever. This was going to be my first time ever going there and thank God I am not. Whomever answered the phone is extremely rude, I would have to consistently repeat myself after they hung up on me and when I went to call back she would answer. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

We visited Dr. Meena for our medicals for my family was amazed by her willingness to work with us based on our schedule and her flexibility to accommodate us even though she was busy. She responded to our questions off hours, made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. She had to fill in a lot of paper work which I thought she did like a pro as she has immense experience doing this stuff.. I would recommend any day for her expertise and for the ease of getting time with her and the whole hassle of booking an appointment and paper work etc.. The doctor has been treating me and my 15 year old son for a year,and not helpful when needed.it is a walk in doctor,no appointment needed so that was convenient.i recently received a letter from the office for me and my son to seek medical care elsewhere because of philosophical differences,I think that means she's racist,I never saw any other white people there so maybe that's why, they will not even talk to me.quite nasty people, not to be trusted with your health,no joke. Dr Totlani is always professional and easily available for questions. I have always experienced no wait times and a professional attitude.

I have been a patient of Dr. Totlani for almost thirteen years. If you need a family doctor, look no further. The level of care that she provides can’t be found elsewhere. She will personally call you if you do not go for tests, or call you to ask how you are feeling if you had not been feeling well. Dr. Totlanis’s the most caring physician you will ever meet. When you meet with her she never rushes. As a patient you are not another chart for her to hurry finish. She provides very personalized care that you want as a patient. Thank you Dr. Totlani for always taking care of me and reminding me to take care of myself when life becomes hectic! I read a review stating that she is "racist" which disturbed me to read. Considering that she also completes immigration medicals I find that impossible to believe. The patients I have encountered in her lobby appear to have diverse backgrounds and everyone appears to be quite content with her care. Dr. Totlani has always prompted (and even some times yelled at me )- in a concerned way- for me to make sure that I take care of myself by following her recommendations . Dr. Totlani is an excellent doctor. She is good at listening to the patient to determine the correct diagnosis and treatment. I have had heart surgery in the past and she is instrumental in keeping me, heart healthy. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a family doctor.

Dr. Totlani has been my GP for 8 years now. I like her open and caring bedside manner. she is not like most of the GP in the area who are strictly by the book and don't know how to think out of the box. I also like the fact that she incorporates holistic medicine into her practice. She also takes the time to listen to you , and takes her time with you. in my opinion that makes for a much better doctor and much better service. Dr. Totlani is an outstanding physician who consistently displays care and concern for all her patients. Her compassion and her professionalism create an atmosphere where all patients feel welcomed and attended to. Her staff is very efficient. Dr. Totlani always makes time to pay attention to details during an office visit, and treats the patient as a "person" rather than just a number. I have been seeing Dr. Totlani for almost 9 years, and have always been treated with respect and dignity. I highly recommend her practice for anyone seeking a caring and compassionate doctor.

This doctor is very unprofessional. First of all she cares more about money than the actual patient. She demands payment in cash upfront and literally grabs it from your hand. I went there for an immigration physical and she wanted to charge me $480 for vaccinations despite the fact that I had vaccination records. When I refused to be vaccinated again she started arguing and yelling at me claiming the records are fake and those vaccines cannot be administered in developing countries. Best family physician in Allentown! Works with uninsured patients, and she is always available to answer your questions. I've recommended her to dozens of people.

Dr. Totlani is an excellent Doctor. She listens to her patients, and provides exceptional care. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a primary care Doctor. I also like that she has a walk-in clinic so no appointment is necessary, although recommended.

Extremely unprofessional. Provided an incomplete medical report that resulted in a RFE. The RFE was specifically for a missing information in the medical report. Did not sign the document because of personal grudge. Charged more than what was agreed. Insulted my mother (an elder) over the phone. NOT a reliable doctor. Be aware and choose at your own risk.

I came here twice for travel vaccinations. After my last experience I wouldn't go again. In my last visit, Dr. Totlani wasn't thorough or clear about what I was being charged for. Before doing anything she just said, "give me your card."… I'm not sure who does that but I find it very unprofessional. No sort of talking through the process of my vaccines, just went about getting setup to give me the shots. The entire time I felt rushed and had to continue asking clarifying questions. It was the worst! 1. she cares nothing but CASH payment; 2. she refers me to another location for tests but with wrong code, and eventually I pay additionally because the bill couldn't be processed by my insurance; yes, I called her several times (never returned the calls) and then stopped by to explain, she said she will update the code, but never did.. 3. the office was filled with her yelling, you felt being rushed to do the tests and PAY! I hope USCIS could re-examine her qualifications.

I would not recommend Dr. Totlani to anyone. My husband and I went to get our vaccinations and medical exam for USCIS. The paper work was incomplete and it set us back weeks.

Love going to her, she is a wonderful Doctor.

Dishonest physician. Wanted to charge $250 for a simple vaccination worksheet and insisted that I would not be able to find anyone to do it cheaper. Turned out that I got it done for $60 in New York. Bad ethics!!!

Totally agree with Google reviewer who is out of pocket money despite insurance. This is allegedly an in network provider who demands up front payment and then when explanation of benefits come back it clearly shows we were overcharged and they refuse to refund the difference. We are out over two hundred dollars ($200+) for some routine vaccines. As the Google reviewer said ..."when it comes to the money/insurance I really feel that this practice just SCAMS people....Over six months after two travel vaccination visits and I am STILL having to deal with the repercussions of how little they care about their patients but care greatly about money. " They insist on payment up front. I understand as a purely cash flow issue. That shouldn't be a problem because we can be reimbursed by submitting a paper to the insurance. We did' t think there would be any problems. Since then it has been nothing but a headache. We were charged $455 and insurance paid $135 and the EOB said we were due back $224. She overcharged as an in network provider and refuses to refund the overcharge. This place is a major rip off, apparently violating their contract with the insurance carrier soliciting in network patients and NOT honoring the rates and overcharging patients BEFORE services are rendered. In office, Dr. Totlani and the staff were very friendly. Wait times were fine, ease of scheduling, and all of that surface stuff is done well. HOWEVER, when it comes to the money/insurance I really feel that this practice just SCAMS people. Over six months after two travel vaccination visits and I am STILL having to deal with the repercussions of how little they care about their patients but care greatly about money. My husband received two travel vaccinations (Hep A and Typhoid) and ended up paying $320 out of pocket all together. We have a pre-paid medical card through our insurance company in which they take money out every month but give us a lump sum at the beginning of the year. We were unable to use this card because they only take cash or check. No problem. That shouldn't be a problem because we can be reimbursed by submitting a paper to the insurance. We did' t think there would be any problems. Since then it has been nothing but a headache. Totlani and her office didn't file EITHER of the vaccinations through our insurance company. Insurance won't reimburse us until they are filed (understandably). We were charged $120 per vaccination. After speaking with our insurance we found out they were only supposed to charge $95.91 for one vaccination (Hep A) and $96.00 for the other (thyphoid). She overcharged us by $130.00 all together! She did file the Hep A vaccination after I requested it but only would pay us back the $95.91 because that was what our insurance paid her after she filed...however, she should have reimbursed us for the full $120 because she was only supposed to charge $95.91 anyway. Our insurance covers Hep A 100% but we are still out $24.09 on one vaccination. After months she still has not submitted the typhoid shot. She says she didn't file the claim for the typhoid because insurance doesn't cover it. My insurance said while it isn't covered, just as she thought, but there is an agreed upon amount of $96.00 that we should have been charged. We still can't be reimbursed from our insurance and she overcharged on this shot as well. ...well that may be true but we still need to get reimbursed. I think she didn't file the claims so she could charge more and like I said....we are STILL out $144.09. In office, Dr. Totlani and the staff were very friendly.
