Did not diagnose my illness. Made me spend money on all these tests. Called her office back several times about my abnormal blood test results. She did jot get back to me about them. You are better off with a proactive doctor who resolves your issues. She is also always late for her appointments and ignores your calls if she does not know how to proceed.

The best primary care doctor in Marin

Dr. Lohtia is AMAZING. She is kind, compassionate and very capable.

Excellent - one of the best MDs in Marin. We are all very fortunate to be associated with her. It is not easy to find an MD any longer, who takes Medicare. I feel blessed to be in her care.

I can’t get to set her whenever I call. I am looking for a new doctor. I like her a lot and have been going to her for 15 years.

Gentle, smart and spends time

Dr Lohtia has been the primary care physician for me and my husband for the past 6 years since we arrived in Marin County. We agree she is the best physician we have ever had and goes beyond what is expected of her. Nothing is too much trouble for her to listen to and advise on. Shortly after we registered with her I was bitten by a dog on a weekend and she took time out from her family to talk to me over the phone and make recommendations for the wound care. She recently was a 'trouble-shooter' when my health insurance company switched me to another doctor without my knowledge. Together we navigated the red-tape, and I thankfully I remain in her care. I highly recommend this professional and knowledgeable lady.

I have seen Dr. Lohtia for several years and she has always been personable, professional, and respectful of me as a patient - regarding my time and communicating with me. She genuinely cares about how I'm doing and is a great listener who provides good feedback and advice that is realistic. She is thorough in her assessment of my health. There is nothing that I can think of that could be a negative attribute about her and I am thankful for her role in my health care.

Dr. Lohtia listens, evaluates and truly cares about patients. She takes time as needed and is concervative with drugs, etc. She acts responsibly when the need presents itself, such as calling for EMTS. Patients listen to her as well because she is smart, well educated and caring.

Dr. Lohtia has been my doctor for ten years. She is so caring and takes time with her patients she will never rush you out the door as many other Dr’s do! so there will be times when you have to wait but it’s well worth it! She will always go the extra mile for her patients.

Very thorough. I see her for my Annual physical. I get my blood work done before my appt so we can discuss my results. She is very no nonsense - just get done what needs to be done. She knows the other specialists I see and concurs that they are the best fit for me.

I would not recommend Dr. Lohtia to my friends or family. If you can't give quality care to the patients you have, stop taking on new patients! If you actually get in to see her she never calls you back with the test results you're waiting for. Do you think because she's so busy she'll just upload the results to the portal for you? NOPE! You have to call and call and finally a few weeks later she will upload it, but forget about a call.

Dr. Lohtia is the most thoughtful and caring Primary Care doctor that I have had. She definitely makes me feel like a partner in my healthcare. Great staff and assistants as well. Highly recommend.

This was first time I saw Dr. Lohtia. She is very cheerful, and took time to listen to me. She is very smart and lots of my other colleagues see her also. Highly recommend this doctor.

I would definately recommend patients to see Dr. Lohtia. She is incredibly caring and follows up on her patients. Her assistant, Lesley, is also very sweet. Dr. Lohtia is our family physician and neither one of us would switch.
