Who wants to see a butt doctor? No one I know of, including me, but if you have to go, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Cavanaugh. I literally just left her office smiling. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and thorough in discussing my condition (complete with fabulous illustrations) she’s warm, funny, and sensitive. She recognizes that most people don’t want to be there so she makes the visit much more than bearable. Her medical assistant Sam made me comfortable from the moment I walked in (when weighing in, we joked at how my sweater could possibly weigh 20 pounds ??) This team is truly top-notch. Dr. Cavanaugh was recommended to me and I’m so grateful. I’ve never liked a doctor or office visit more!

Great! Her personality just shines. Very through with exam, was able to give me diagnosis that day and referred me to a physical therapist. Glad my doctor (Dr. Gary Kim-also great!)referred me to her.

The best bedside manner we have ever experienced in any doctor. Very detailed in what she was going to do. Took her time and Listened to our concerns and kept us informed the whole process. Felt she did an outstanding job to keep me from having further issues. I would recommend her to anyone needing this kind of doctor, and already have.

If there was less than 1, well, you guessed it. Refused service when I arrived at 10 till 2. Said check in was at 130, appt at 2. Said I filled out paperwork online for check in. That didn’t matter. Ms. importance refused to see me. Then had the nerve to tell me to reschedule! OMG! This was a new patient appt. like I would reschedule with her!! At least she thinks she’s important, that’s what matters.

Dr. Cavanaugh is an amazing physician. She is personable, down to earth and funny. She makes talking about an awkward subject feel extremely comfortable. She has done both of my colonoscopies and recently I needed to see her for another issue. After spending a great deal of time with me & a thorough exam she put my mind at ease regarding what I thought could be a serious health issue. She gave me a plan as to how to move forward in order to ease my current symptoms. If you are struggling with a colorectal issue but are embarrassed or frightened to discuss it she is the doctor to see. Last, if you are 50 or over get a colonoscopy!! I wish my Mom has been screened. It would have saved her life.

Really dismissive. Did not worth my time

Every doctor should follow what Dr. Cavanaugh is doing! Besides being an incredibly knowledgable doctor, she is a super kind and SO funny! She really puts you at ease, explains things without being condescending, and is just a very pleasant person. I finally got real answers that can set me on a path to healing. Thank you, Dr. Cavanaugh!

Dr. Cavanaugh has a fun/humorous bedside manner that greatly reduced my nerves during my initial visit. On the day of my surgery she took the time to check in with me before to go over the surgery again and then spent some time with me after as well. I highly recommend her!

Poor bedside manner, didn't offer solutions, left her office in tears and embarrasement. She will only help you if you seem like you have money. She profiled me as an opiate user and then never called to set up surgery.
