Your appointment will be for 3:30 and you will not be called into the room until 5:30 then you’ll wait another half hour for Dr.Cardoza to come in. Slow service. Been waitin a year for her to find me a specialist.

She don’t return her phones don’t give you updates on the follow ups or results of Tess is your on hold for four hours then they hang up the phone and shut them off she’s noting but a quack

Did not help me one bit with anything but instead kept trying to brush me off to other doctors. Told me I have a heart problem when in reality I have anxiety and she pretty much made me feel like I was crazy

Dr. Melanie Cardoza, DO, on Milliken Blvd, in Jose Monteiro's office, is one of the most thorough physicians in Fall River. I'm not sure how she does it, from visiting patients at the hospital in the morning, to still being at the office late at night, but she's a very hard worker, and, again, more than overly thorough. My boyfriend, a VERY impatient guy, and a smart guy, anatomy-wise, who I'd let medically advise me, thinks she's the best PCP this city has to offer. He was with Vicini prior, and thought he'd never find someone as thorough. Well, we both did. So should you! And, It's a portuguese practice, for those who prefer. Slowest doctors office ever. If u make your appointment at 2 . You dont get to seen by the dr until about 4 o clock . They only pull u into the room at 3 too. Every single time.

Ive been a patient of Dr Cardoza's for a few years. She's a good doctor who genuinely listens to any health concerns you have. She is very thorough and sometimes over tests to rule out very serious conditions, which I guess is better than a doctor who doesn't rule out any and all possibities. She's quick to send you to specialists if she feels you have any type of chronic condition. The fact that she is a great doctor is the only reason I continue to see her because some improvements need to be made in regards to how the office is run. However, the staff is very courteous and always very friendly. The staff in the actual office have great customer service skills. However, they don't always return phone calls, you need to keep calling until you actually talk to someone. When you make an appointment be prepared to be there for several hours. It's usually a ridiculously long wait to be seen, they tend to overbook constantly. If your seriously I'll and trying to avoid an emergency room visit, it's almost impossible to get a same day appointment, and if you actually get a same day appointment you are going to end up in that waiting room for at least 3-4 hours, not including the wait time once your actually in the room. Very thorough. Covered every health event.

I can honestly say my mom is very pleased and she likes her very much. She listens and understands her and for that being said I am happy if she's happy
