It was very quick precise and all my needs was taken care of

Disappointed to say the least. I went in for an annual physical- she prescribed me my normal 2 meds within my 10 minute check up & walked out the “prescription” as an additional office visit to my insurance. So what COULD have been an annual physical that is covered by insurance- I am now out of pocket $155 because of the “doctors discretion” in billing insurances and visits. Feeling taken advantage of and unethical experience.

Been a patient for over 5 years and she has been organized and kind. Takes my opinion seriously and explains diagnosis in a way I can understand.

Great atmosphere

I Love Dr. Schweitzer. She takes the time to listen to My questions and concerns. Gives good and honest feedback. Also Friendly and very Professional. I would recommend Her services to anyone.

Dr. Schweitzer is the best! I’ve been with her for 16+ years and would follow her to the moon if she went there. I have always felt heard, understood and that she ALWAYS took the time to make me feel like the most important patient she has. I would recommend her to anyone!!!! She is the real deal.

Somehow I’m listed as a no show from last year of April and she’s refused me as a patient. Definitely concerned with the heart of this doctor to decline care or at least consider seeing me.

I have been very satisfied with Dr Schweitzer. She is caring and office staff very nice. She has always managed to fit me into schedule quickly when I've needed it.

Dr. Schweitzer is the best PCP I’ve had in a very long time. She is attentive and accommodating, having offered telehealth visits for me on a couple of occasions. All of the staff in the office are so kind, and I’ve never had a bad visit in the 4 years I’ve been seeing her. Highly recommend!

Scheduled an appointment online for a first time patient. I got the confirmation email with the date and time. Took off of work and made it to the appointment on time. Only to be told I was 30 minutes late because I was supposed to show up 30 minutes early to fill out new patient forms. While that makes sense it should have been in the email to be there 30 minutes early. When I told the front desk she said there was an automated call that should have informed me of that rule. I got 0 phone calls. So because I was "late" Dr. Schweitzer would not see me or let me make any other appointments as I was a first time patient and "didn't show". Would not recommend as their communication clearly lacks.

Very disappointed at how unprofessional Dr. Schweitzer has become and her nurse as well. I go to the Dr once a year or so but last year I did get sick and I had to go to Dr more regularly. All the medication she gave me messed me up and she referred me to a specialist. Every time I saw him she wanted me to schedule back with her afterwards but the specialist had cancelled a couple of my appointments so I had to re schedule with Dr. Schweitzer. This year two days after my appointment was re scheduled they call me to say oh she wont see du to multiple no shows and last minute cancellations which are not true. However, I am glad because if they can’t even keep good track of their schedule, can’t honor what they say and the Dr. says one thing then forgets what she says and blame you for it. Better off with a professional who knows what they are doing because it’s not free!

Communication post visit is terrible. The front desk people Who answer when you call, they are always so so so kind and helpful. But the doctor, rhe nurses, terrible communication.

I am so incredibly disappointed with Dr. Schweitzer. I showed up for an appointment and was told that I had been dismissed for too many cancelations. One of the reschedules were due to weather, her nurse asked if I could change my appointment time to later in the day and I informed her that I could as long as I could.make it safely out of my neighborhood. So I rescheduled for the following week. I received a call that I needed to have a biopsy performed at St Thomas and unfortunately it fell on the same date as my physical so I called to reschedule and explained why. When I showed up to my appointment, I was told that I had been dismissed as a client. No call to let me know before I drove to Antioch from Lebanon. I saw Dr. Schweitzer for the last three years, I thought she was concerned about my health until I got sick off some medication she had prescribed for me. I made an emergency appointment to see her today, but I was turned away as if I was a dog because I had a balance. I was told I was cancelled, the doctor no longer wanted to see me, I asked why I wasn't notified and I was told by the manager that nurse Brittany forgot to call me. Dr was professional and efficient. The two nurses that helped me were top notch. The lady that drew my blood was friendly and did her job well. The facility is very clean, nice & comfortable. The receptionist was horrible. She was sharp, maintained a flat affect & made me feel very uncomfortable.

Very happy I found Dr. Schweitzer and her team. I am not someone who likes going to the doctor. I’ve convinced myself to ignore most issues for years, decades even. Which, in turn, has snowballed into a boatload of issues that seemed overwhelming. Frankly, I had been too embarrassed to go to the doctor because of the amount of issues I needed to address. They made me feel like I was heard and that I was in the right place to take care of all the issues I’d been neglecting to take care of. Positive experience from walking through the front door. She is terrible and dangerous. I asked her for diet information sent me on my way with few slips of paper with food that was harmful. Told me I was doing great then sent me to a specialist because my organ was declining when she never even let me know I had issues with any of my organs. When you need a refill you have to come in so she can sit with you for 10 minutes and go over your labs that they called you about months ago. I had a bad case of menstrual pain. It was heavy and caused so much discomfort. She wouldn't even write me a note so that I could use the bathroom at work. Says a lot about her morals and the job I used to work for. It may be lack of education, a busy schedule, or not treating black women with care, but she is the worst doctor I have ever had. She is terrible and dangerous. I am writing this review in hopes that it helps another patient make an informed decision on medical care. After being a patient of Dr. Schweitzer for approximately 3 years I realized recently that I needed to seek healthcare elsewhere. Dr. Schweitzer is all about prescribing medicine and referring to other specialists. She requires that you make multiple appointments to address each and every concern, i.e I had a schedule appointment for Diabetes follow-up and was having abdominal pain or muscle pain and she would not address those needs but have you make another appointment, consistently. For 3 years I put up with feeling like a standard form with boxes that were being checked and I put up with it because I didn't want the drama of having to find another primary care provider. But recently she advised me to start taking BP medicine despite my pressure being in the normal range with the exception of one visit.(1 visit) I was confused and after taking one and having my pressure drop so low I stopped. She performed an EKG that she said was abnormal and referred me to a cardiologist for a stress test (that the cardiologist refused to do because after reviewing the EKG taken is Dr. Schweitzer's office and another performed at the hospital he was baffled on why I had been referred to him). The nursing staff, who took the time before my visit with them to review my records, was baffled by the BP Rx on record. I did explain that I was not compliant in that respect. On each visit with Dr. Schweitzer, she appeared to not know anything about me until at least five to ten minutes into each appointment while she kept her face in her laptop reviewing my history for the majority of the time. I made the decision to return to a previous Primary Care Physician who had moved to Hermitage (at the time I thought it was too much of an inconvenience to travel that distance, I now realize reassurance, and having confidence in your PC at my age is with worth a 40 minute car ride). I called to cancel the upcoming appointment with Dr. Schweitzer and asked the nurse what was needed from me to have my records transferred. Two days later I get a certified letter stating that essentially I was fired as her patient, lol, she was withdrawing as my physician due to non-compliance. What? I realized that I was lucky that I did not have any serious health issues while under the care of this DO and I caution anyone considering her to know their health, because she wont. I would not recommend Dr. Schweitzer for any one's care needs. She seems to only care about doing endless lab work and charging you incessantly for them. I thought she was the nicest physician I ever had but turns out she's the worst. My final straw was she knew I had an upcoming hysterectomy scheduled in the next few weeks and she still insisted I do blood work. I was already going to have pre-op testing for the hysterectomy and that blood work would have been easily accessible to her since the physician performing the procedure is in the same network as her. She basically forced me to do the lab work for her&said if I didn't agree to the blood testing she would not allow me to get the refills I need due to my health issues. It was unacceptable behavior for any physician. Additionally she called in refills for 30 days ONLY when I clearly needed at least 60 to cover my recovery period. I called the office several times and was told they would have her call in the additional time but she has not as of this writing even considered calling me in an additional 30 days while I recover. I'm finding another physician as soon as I'm able once I recover from surgery. I hope and pray no one else has to go thru what I went through. It was extremely unprofessional and is the cause of major stress and worry before major surgery and all for what? I will never know. I would not recommend Dr. Schweitzer for any one's care needs. I always enjoy visiting Dr. Schweitzer's office. She takes excellent care of me. Her and her staff are compassionate and kind. I am very happy with Dr. Schweitzer as my Primary Care Provider.

Recently saw Dr. Schweitzer for annual check-up. She is the best. Very kind and attentive, and easy to work with on my health goals. Highly recommend to other women who need a safe space and expert support.

Turned down a veteran needing help. Waiting till I arrived at appointment, then told employees she would not see me. Didn't bother to hear why I was there. I just moved to Tennessee three months ago in March 2020. I chose Dr. Meredith Schweitzer because of her location. I had my first visit and she was very nice. We did lab work and a physical. She scheduled me to visit her again in September. I have been on disability for four years. My insurance has been through my wife’s job working for the federal government. When we moved here there were no openings for her position, so she could not transfer. When her insurance ran out, I had Medicare and decided to get Part B and a supplemental. I called Dr. Schweitzer,‘s office to give them my new information. Kelly took all of the information down and I went over to Planet Fitness to do my routine workout. Kelly called me back within an hour and told me that Dr. Schweitzer had decided that she’s not taking on any new Medicare patients. I thought that was really weird because our supplemental showed her as one of the doctors who takes Medicare. So, because Dr. Schweitzer, decided she doesn’t want any new Medicare patients, I have to go find a new doctor and get all of my records moved over to another doctor after only being with her for three months. I can see her doing that with a new patient if she’s not taking Medicare, but I’m an established patient, and she’s just shoving me out the door. She is a cold and heartless person. She is the most wonderful and compassionate Dr’s! She takes such good care of me and my son!

We moved to Nashville three months ago and found Dr. Schweitzer by location. I just switched over to Medicare and she dropped me as a patient. If picking zero stars was an option, I would have taken it. She is cold and heartless!

I have had Dr Schweitzer as my physician for over 10 years. During that time she has done an outstanding job in treating me. She is a dedicated caring doctor whom I cannot recommend highly enough

She has been my Dr for almost 3 years now and i love her pleasant personality. Her nurses are amazing too. I love that she doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to diagnosis and always gives you all possible option and very quick to refer you to someone who will handle your case better.

I saw Dr. Schweitzer for at least a total of 4 years. I moved 2 hours away and still kept her as my physician. That is until she moved locations. Then all of a sudden she had me coming in and I was being charged for a doctor visit plus lab work after completing a complete physical then a month later another blood work which involved visit and lab bill to be told the NEXT month I would need to come in again for MORE bloodwork to renew my cholesterol and blood pressure medications. Keep in mind I have a full time job which requires my presence and she was very aware of this. For my refusal to come in and balking at the notion she stated I misconducted myself and needed to find another physician. Be ready to spend money you have to pay for her new office.

We went for a follow after an er visit. Her receptionist communicated with her by text. She would not even see us. There was nobody else in the waiting area. We were told to go back to the er

Either the doctor or her assistant gave the wrong order for a radiology test, my husband need a sinus, neck and back checked, but they only ordered for his sinuses, the office didn’t even call for updates until we receive the bills from the test that we called them just to know they ordered the wrong kind of tests.

This doctor has been my primary care physician for years and has been very good at helping me with a bunch of various health issues along with normal ailments such as flu or sinus infections. Just met Dr. Schweitzer yesterday and was referred by a long-time patient of hers. I found her (and the staff) to be personable and professional. No complaints here. I've met a few doctors in the area since moving here and Dr. Schweitzer is the first one I've felt truly comfortable with!

Worst doctor ever. She only cares about your money. Unprofessional. FaceTiming her daughter while she was in the room with me. Wasn’t trying to help me . But laughing and picking movies for her daughter to watch.

In the time that Dr. Schweitzer has been my doctor I have always found her to a kind caring professional. She is willing to listen to me and assist me with my health needs. I have found the medical advice she has given me to be very helpful. I have received appointments quickly as needed.

I think she is an excellent Dr. She seems to care. The problem I have is she doesn't fill prescriptions. You have to go into her office to get a refill. Which is a major inconvenience. Her staff can be rude. Her assistant seems to have major mood swings.

I recently had an appt with Dr Shweitzer. Her staff was warm and friendly . I was called back to her office only minutes after I arrived. Dr Schweitzer was very thorough and listened to me talking about my symptoms . She always takes the time to listen to what I have to say. Dr. Schweitzer was referred to me by my wife. My first visit with her office was more than satisfactory. Dr. Schweitzer was thorough and thoughtful with respect to my personal opinions regarding my health. I did not feel "managed" outside of my own desires regarding my care, as is so often the case with many physicians. Her staff was equally as professional and responsive. I was very impressed with the experience and would recommend Dr. Schweitzer without hesitation.

Dr. Schweitzer is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She is caring, listens to me, offers suggestions for help, spends time with me as if I am her only patient. I travel from the other side of Nashville to see her because she is worth the drive.

A couple weeks after receiving a letter in the mail that I didn’t show up to an appointment that I didn’t even schedule, I returned for check up and I’ve been waiting for an hour in this room. Take what you want from that experience.

I've been happy with this physician's office. Two years ago I did have a problem, and they addressed it immediately and it never happened again. I"m 65 years old with several health issues to balance and Dr. Schweitzer and her office is responsive to any changes I report. They advocate for my very best health in every way.

Dr Schweitzer always listens to me and address all my health concerns in a very easy to understand and follow manner. Dr Schweitzer is one of the most through primary care doctor that I have dealt with in many years. She is patient and reviews all results of tests with you, referring you to a specialist if you need it. Her follow up practices are excellent and her office staff is wonderful.

Hello My appointments with Dr. Schweitzer always go well She has perfect bed side manners. Every visit she comes in with a smile and immediately begins my visit with ease by first asking how I am doing. She is thorough with reading over my history to make sure she is knowledgeable on my condition. She listens to me and she also provides feedback as to what her professional opinion is based on what I am dealing with.

I love Dr. Schweitzer but I really think it kind crapy that the office will not call in enough of my anti depressant until I can get in to the office. #1 its dangerous to not have this stuff in your system COLD TURKEY- I feel drunk driving into work and I feel like I'm drifting back in forth in my head like I'm on waves in the ocean. I can barely get up and when I do I feel like a zombie. I spoke with the clinic today and they wont even prescribe me a few pills until I can get in to the clinic!!

So happy to have scheduled an appointment with Dr Meredith Schweitzer! Great team of compassionate caring people. From the moment I walked into the clinic I felt comfortable and relaxed. The Doctor was so professional yet amazingly kind and interested in really listening to what I had to say. The Nursing staff was reassuring and helpful. I feel as if I won the lottery with my new team of health care providers. If you are looking for someone to trust, I suggest you this clinic.

This clinic and Dr. Schweitzer are like doctors used to be. They are going to give you the best care they possibly can. I wouldn't want anyone else! They actually read your records, and make calls to other doctors on the spot if they need more info.

This dr. Is very personable, always smiling, and remembers everything about you. Takes her time with you, no rushing. She is very knowledgeable, for I ask ALOT of questions. And I don't always take my meds, she don't judge me. I drive 23 miles to go to this dr.
