Failed hip labrum surgery. This guy decided to cut corners with my labrum. The labrum was degenerated but Banffy did not do augmentation on it but instead cut the leftover 3mm native labrum wrapped it in a suture and attached to the bone. The result is that i have micro-instability and in worse pain than before the surgery. He should be prosecuted for malpractice! The other guy once noted he did something on his sholder other than they agreed (cut out brusa instead) I will tell you why he is doing it - because he is overbooked and greedy. When it was my turn to roll to the surgery Banffy was exhausted form the previous operation and decided to save time on me...

I didn’t enjoy my experience with Dr. Banffy. The resident in training who saw me before shared way more information and was much more helpful than the Dr. Never going back.

Rushed. Not professional in his approach.

Very disappointing, I made an appointment for second opinion with this doctor and drove 35 miles to see him, instead I was seen by a technician and no one even acknowledged that he wasn’t there. I will not recommend him to anyone.

Went to Dr. Banffy at Cedars-Sinai to get help with my knee pain. Took Xrays and then met with the doctor. The appointment was maybe 2 minutes and everything was unclear. I have messaged asking for more details. And I plan to see another doctor to get a thorough consultation.

Was told acl and meniscus would be repaired, currently have no meniscus, was told he just “cleaned” it up and only reconstructed acl, do the surgeries you say your going to give people man

Banffy correctly diagnosed an instability with my shoulder, and we scheduled surgery to fix the problem - he said we'd be doing a capsulorrhaphy. During the surgery, he elected not to do the capsulorrhaphy we talked about, and instead performed a simple bursectomy (thus treating a symptom of my shoulder instability rather than its cause). He promised that physical therapy would then solve the rest of my problems. After six months of expensive physical therapy that did not help, and monthly check up's with his office (Banffy would frequently skip them) my shoulder problems persisted - until he eventually decided that I did, in fact, need a capsulorrhaphy. And encouraged me to come back and get that procedure. So, he diagnosed that I needed a capsulorrhaphy, did not perform it during surgery, prescribed months of expensive physical therapy, then suggested another surgery in which he'd actually do the capsulorrhaphy. Was he just trying to squeeze more money out of me?

I went to Dr.Banffy because of hip pain caused by a torn labrum. Dr.Banffy told me I was not a good candidate for the surgery he does and suggested I should get injections or a hip replacement. I went out of his office confused as how to move forward. I asked his office to get his treatment plan in writing but his office never got back to me. I have since found a different surgeon who feels he can repair my hip and who took much more time diagnosing me and explaining my options.

Great doctor, love his sense of humor. He has kept me walking with my monovisc shots! Highly recommend Dr. Banffy!

I have had two shoulder surgeries with Dr. Banffy. He is an outstanding surgeon who has become an expert in his field. He is the only orthopedist I will ever go to...I trust him with my children; that should mean something. Plus his staff is extremely professional and nice to deal with for any matter!

Have had both my shoulders repaired by Dr Banffy. He's a rockstar. He takes his time to explain the situation in words a lay person can understand. He did my left shoulder about 3 years ago and my right one this year. Totally trust worthy, and very talented surgeon.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Banffy and his crew. I had my ACL replaced and although it is just 2 weeks after surgery, I am doing nicely. I am thankful for their care.

Dr. Banffy was attentive and I felt confident I was in good hands with him and his team at Kerlab-jobe.

Dr Banffy did a partial knee replacement for my husband. I am a surgical nurse and cannot begin to say how much I admire his professionalism and quiet confidence. He made us feel comfortable and confidant in our decision. We had several "blips" in my husband's treatment at the hospital that became non-issues. He handled everything. Period.

I trust Dr. Banffy implicitly & would highly recommend him. I had a full knee replacement & need another; I won't let anyone but Banffy perform it. His staff is terrific & they handle every detail w/ incredible efficiency & kindness. Adam, P.A., doesn't rush you & patiently responds to all questions. Banffy's scheduler, Nicolle, is wonderful, reliable & handles everything w/ grace. Team member Justin is kind & a delight to deal w/. Banffy & his team will be my "go to's" for orthopedic issues.

From the initial consultation to the date of surgery and follow ups, the entire team made my experience at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic as simple and as pleasant as one could expect. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous from day one. Dr Banffy has put together an incredibly professional staff and I would recommend his entire team to anyone.
