Rushes through the appointment after running late 30 minutes

Not good

Waited a long time. Saw him for only a few minutes and felt rushed.

I waited a really long time to see the doctor. I felt rushed throughout the session and he only spent about 5 minutes with me. My medicine was sent to the wrong pharmacy. It took a long time to get that corrected. It was difficult to get another visit with him and they kept scheduling me with an assistant even though I requested to only see him. I kept rescheduling when I found out I wouldn't see him and eventually gave up on this place. It's like they actively discourage you from continuing to be a patient with their practice.

I saw dr. boothby a few times, nothing special, just another orthopod. he had same options as all other orthopods in the area. he seems to think he's a rockstar making you wait a really long time for hisaverage care.

I took time off from work to see this doctor. I set up this appointment over a month ago. I waited for almost an hour and walked out. I called another surgeon office that’s downtown when I got in my car, they said I could walk in, and I was seen within 20 minutes without an appointment. This was very disrespectful. My time is worth something.

I went for a second opinion somewhere else and they said no surgery, did some injections and physical therapy, and I've felt great since.

Hes just looking to make money and doesn't care about whos in front of him. Saw the doc for surgery. Know I needed surgery and insurance was ready to pay for it. He he made me do his physical therapy first. Six weeks of the physical therapy and we do the surgery then sent back to therapy and I was out of visits that insurance would pay for then had to pay out of pocket. I asked him why he did that and he said insurance required it but he didn't have anything to say to me after I told him all over again that insurance already said theyd pay for it.The physical therapy sucked anyways. My therapist gave me the same exercises the little old ladies were doing and barely talked to me and gave all their attention to the pretty girls that came through there.

Seems like a nice guy, just didn't see any help from him. Got a second opinion and got surgery and now doing much better. He should also not schedule people if hes booked up, i had to wait a long time each time I saw him.

Had to wait half an hour after my time for every appointment with him. Overall was a waste of time. He kept trying things that didn't help and I wasted time and money doing things that didn't help. After months with him, I went to another surgeon who actually did surgery and I've been fine since.

he worked on my knee and it hurt worse after. he did gel shots that hurt a lot and he did therapy and that hurt a lot too. he doesnt listen and doesnt care and hurt me more and i always had to wait a long time to see him and was late getting back to work all the time and got in trouble for it

Long wiat times, dismissive, wanting to do surgery right away, then reminded him there was no MRI done and he looked at me blankly before going into damage control. Has no Clue what he's doing or talking about.

Waited over an hour to be seen and no one even addressed it, just acted it was normal. So distracted by that I checked out of the visit and will be going elsewhere. You don't deserve my time or business

Went to him for a second opinion before shoulder surgery. He sent me to physical therapy first. This was several years ago and it still bothers me how disgusting some of the therapists were, flirting with cute girls and ignoring everyone else. I went back to my original doctor, did the surgery and had therapy and am doing great without this guy.

Horrible surgeon and clinic. This was a horrible experience all around. Over an HOUR WAIT. Bedside manner was awful, seemed like a snake-like politician who couldn't give me a straight answer on anything and doesn't make eye contact much. Rolled his eyes at me. Second visit asked to see someone else but saw him again. They ordered therapy, which seemed somewhere between a cattle call and an avenue for therapists to hit on young cute girls. Did not go back after a couple of sessions. Went there because he was highly recommended by a friend who had ACL surgery. That friend eventually reinjured it, went through another surgery with Dr. Boothby, tore it another time, saw another local surgeon that said he's always fixing Dr. Boothby's surgeries. I ended up getting surgery from another surgeon in the area that was fantastic, polar opposite of this mess of a place. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this ridiculous excuse of a doctor.

My experience as a patient with Dr. Boothby has been nothing short of exemplary. Dr. Boothby 's academic, and clinical experience has positioned him at the top of his profession - Orthopedics/Sports Medicine. Attention to detail with a precise treatment plan motivated me to do the very best of my ability. His compassion and excellent communication skills coupled with a outstanding support team and rehabilitation department are second to none. Kudos to the Phyical Therapy Team and special thanks to Jenny who provided the exact PT regimen for me resulting in an excellent outcome with my TKR. Thank god Dr. Boothby did my surgery on my broken ankle. I was told I may have a limp but I run, play tennis and pickleball and have no limp or any problems what so ever! Excellent surgeon.

I have been seeing Dr. Boothby for years with Osteoarthritis in both knees. I have been taking injections.. When I was taking these shots they don't help at all..I told Dr. Boothby and staff..but they don't listen at all..No Anti-inflammatory meds or pain meds..just suffer with the pain.. Dr. Boothby and his PAs are very friendly and very professional, as well as the office personnel. I only have had injections for pain on my knees and shoulder, but he has operated on my wife’s shoulder in 2012 and then on her knee on 2017, and both times, he has been great. Dr. Boothby operated on my right shoulder on Dec. 2012 and then, broken meniscus on my right knee. Both times, he has been a wonderful surgeon, he left me like new, and he has excellent bed manners. His two PAs and Lance are wonderful too. I always go to the office for my yearly knee injections. I highly recommend Dr. Boothby and all his friendly staff.

I like Dr.Boothby , he’s empathetic and his bed side manner is great. He performed my knee replacement in December 2019 and it’s healing well. He takes the time to listen and explain in detail. I’m glad I chose him to perform my TKR

Dr. Boothby was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He addressed all of my questions and concerns regarding the upcoming surgery and the rehab process. The support staff was outstanding as well. They were very helpful, professional, and provided the needed information for the pre-op process.

Let me know first visit that t would qualify for knee replacement surgery. It was scheduled for a time convenient for me. Just had last visit post surgery and was happy to hear everything is as it should be. Will continue to get some improvement up to a year.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Dr. Boothby and his entire staff. From day one he laid out a plan for my and explained every step along the way. Can’t thank him and his staff enough for getting me through this entire process!! Thank you!!

Dr. Boothby did an excellent job his staff was very helpful. I did my therapy at his office and that staff was outstanding as well. I would recommend The practice to anyone in need of orthopedic services.

Dr. Boothby is AMAZING! I had both of my cuffs done this year, one end of January and other in June. I would not have been able to have both done if it wasn't for the quality of surgeon he is. I am a 40 year old male and my recovery time was minimal. I didn't have to take a LOA at work (took a week vacation after) and was able to go back to work. Granted, I do not have to lift much at work. Their ON-SITE physical therapy has a staff that truly enjoy what they do. The one on one car is unmatched. The ladies verifying benefits and scheduling are just as friendly as the doctors and therapists. There are many places you can go, but I HIGHLY recommend Boothby and his facility. Thank you for helping me feel like myself again.

I had rotor cuff surgery about 3 months ago. My experience with Dr. B was excellent. Caring and compassionate made all the difference in the world. My therapist, Jenny, was able to tailor my program to allow me to reach almost full range of motion. I had looked for a doctor for over two years. Dr. B. was recommended by my cousin. We are both in our 60's and we would highly recommended Dr. B. for shoulder surgery

Had a full knee replacement 3 1/2 months ago. Knee has felt better than it has in years. Have very minimal scar due his use of zip line bandages (no staples). Healing took less time than anticipated. Dr. Boothby and his staff are rock stars. The therapy staff at the center is also awesome.

Dr. Boothby, thank you for performing and providing awesome care. I had a massive rotator cuff tear, Dr. Boothby was my second opinion, we chose him for many reasons, one being the recommendation from others , second being his explanation of my condition and the procedure to repair the rotator cuff. Once inside the large tear turned out to be more on the massive side. After surgery he explained the recovery and precautions that needed to be achieved to get me to a positive outcome. I did exactly what Dr. Boothby told me and returned to work on schedule. Highly recommend Dr. Boothby for many reasons, one being his upbeat and positive demeanor. Thank You very much!!

Dr. Boothby has given me my life back. I'm very athletic and had arthritis in both my knees. He has replaced both of my knees and they feel like my God-given knees. My scars are almost non-existing. One of my legs had bowed slightly due to arthritis he has corrected that as part of the knee replacement. He is a master at his craft!

Full left knee replacement. Wonderful Doctor plus his staff and assistants. Very pleased with his non-use of staples, alternative use of zip-line bandages. I believe that I healed faster.

Dr. Boothby and his staff were wonderful!!! This was the second time that I had the same procedure done on the same knee and my experience was as different as night and day! The wait time at my appointments was great as well...never waited more than just a few minutes! The physical therapy was exceptional too!!! Fantastic physician that has a truly caring staff!

Dr Boothby made me feel a confidence in him from the beginning. He is a great communicator and put me at ease. The professionalism of him and his entire staff was evident. His assistant Lance Bernard easily painted a picture in my mind when answering a question of a technical nature. The surgical team took all of my worries away before I went under. Thank You! And my physical therapist Chuck Porter really knew his business! My shoulder is doing very well and I recommend this entire gang!

Dr Boothby and his team are excellent. I have had both of my knees replaced and could not have asked for a better group. The Physical Therapy group are outstanding also. Thank you everyone for your great service

Dr Boothby is one of the greatest doctors I've known. He's good with kids, active in the community and loves helping others. I recommend him to anyone.

I was prompted to write this review now because I needed to call and schedule another appointment, and wanted to share why I'm a "repeat" patient of Dr. Boothby's. Over the past couple of years or so, Dr. Boothby has performed right knee meniscus repair, right shoulder rotator cuff, and toe joint surgery on me. I couldn't think of a better and more caring Dr. to go to. All procedures solved their specific problems, healed perfectly and I couldn't be happier. One thing to note is that obviously a highly knowledgeable and caring surgeon is critical to any repair, but the follow-up physical therapy is also important for a full, or best, recovery possible. Mind your doctor's advice follow through on your rehab! Dr. Boothby & Team performed surgery on my left shoulder rotator cuff back in 2008 & surgery on my right knee back in 2010 to repair old sports injuries, and I was very impressed and completely satisfied with Dr. Boothby & Team. He and his Team are very professional, knowledgeable in their field, great people skills/great bedside manner, good at explaining the procedure & answering any questions. I have been recommending Dr Boothby & Team to family, friends, bus. colleagues and all since 2008.

Dr. Booth by is a very good surgeon.. he cleaned up my rotator cuff and all is going well . So glad he was recommended to me and I have already recommended him to a neighbor and he was really impressed with him. His therapists are very good as well. Very kind and personable. Always concerned about your comfort and progress.

Discriminating Practices! Office manager refused to accept our insurance due to the circumstances that surround the injury; even though there were no other parties involved. Dr. was listed as a PPO provider with Cigna and even stated they accepted the insurance until they discovered the nature of the injury. That's discrimination!!!

First time at new office everyone was very kind and actually listened. Very pleased with staff and Dr. Wilson, he listened and came up with several options, of treatment. He also has great way making you feel comfortable. Very pleased! Its a 5 star facility.

Dr. Boothby has been the third surgeon I have been to, and very frankly the best. He actually listens to mine concerns and answers my question like a normal human instead of someone with a low IQ. I highly recommend him.

Dr Boothby did a miraculous repair on my elbow that was fused straight, now it moves like it did when I was a kid! Dr Boothby and staff are helpful and friendly, he explains the entire procedure to you so you know what to expect.
