Mike has worked with me, both my sons and my mother. He’s a genius with body mechanics and knows everyone in the business including his wife who is a renowned physical therapist in San Francisco. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

They refused to see my father because he has Medicare and Medical, eventhough they could bill us for the 20% that Medicare doesn't cover, or even better write that off BUT I guess being gainfully employed rich DOCTORS (according to Valerie) ALL of the Doctors in this organization choose to not serve people who have Medicare with a secondary coverage they don't care about the financially struggling, disabled and or elderly people that need their services! I have an unfortunate habit of collecting athletic injuries, some number of which have required surgery. Dr Dillingham has been my best surgeon by far. Crisp and knowledgeable, he was always willing to take the time to explain and answer questions. And his surgical results were outstanding as well. Solved my issues in ways that led to surprisingly short rehab times. I recommend him without reservation.

Excellent physician. Saw him for arthroscopic surgery for my left knee. He took time out from his busy schedule to look at my painful right toe and after examining it suggested that I contact my regular doctor to get it x-rayed. I had injured it prior to surgery. It turned out to be broken. Besides doing an excellent job with my left knee, he showed compassion to look my right toe and protect it during surgery. My left knee is only 4 weeks & 3 days post my surgery and already better than pre.

Absolutely top notch sports medicine surgeon. Thorough, knowledgable and fully considers patients post surgical goals. Very professional support staff.

I have had nothing but success with Dr. Dillingham. I recommend him to family and friends when needed. He spends quality time to listen and make the best options for treatment. His staff is awesome too.

Dr. Dillingham goes above and beyond in caring for his patients. He takes the necessary time to explain things and options and has a great long term approach to make sure the patient remains healthy for life.

Dr. Dillingham is extremely knowledgeable, precise, and decisive. He quickly gets to the problem and takes action. He didn't waste time with x-rays for my knee injury. An MRI was scheduled the same day as my office visit with him. He explained my condition and options. His directions to the physical therapist helped pin point the problem which later aided in the surgery procedure that we both decided was necessary.

I had two knee operations (09/02/1989 and 01/21/92). I was 48 and 51. This is 12/20/2017 and I am returning for a minor problem. A slight twinge in the joint where the carta ledge was removed. I had a bone mouse (removed) and acute Chondromalacia . I am 76 and have been working out constantly. I dive for abalone and spear fish and hunt for wild game. One of my workouts is to walk 5 miles carrying a 20 lb. vest and a 30 lb. back pack. I credit this ability to the successful knee operation.

Dr. Dillingham is the best! I had knee surgery three weeks ago and have done exceptionally well. My physical therapist, who is a PHD in the field, says that my great recovery and lack of pain is the result of the doctor who performed my surgery. I give Dr. Dillingham five stars along with many thanks.

Dr. Dillingham and his team are superb! As an older athlete, coach and Jiu Jitsu competitor I am so pleased with the care and understanding I have received from Dr. Dillingham. He has kept me teaching , training and competing well beyond my prime. At 63, I just had knee surgery, was walking without crutches in two days; within a five days I was able to start training again; and two weeks post-op, my knee feels and works better than it has in 30 years!

A lifetime athlete, seeing a multitude of orthopedic surgeons throughout, Dr Dillingham is above and beyond all expectations. Not wasting a minute to find the problem and get the ball rolling to get you back to what you were doing as soon as possible. Brilliant surgeon.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dillingham, he is like a Michael Angelo for knees. I’m thankful for his amazing abilities and brilliance, as he has kept me going all these years. For me he was a God send.

By age 16, and after 8 yrs of playing middle position at Absolute, Marin Juniors and Evolve, my right shoulder was in constant pain. In Reno, it finally dislocated. Dr. Dillingham took one look at it, asked me a few questions and immediately knew iwhat was wrong and what needed to be done. After final exams, he operated. My recovery has been almost too easy to believe. No swelling, no real discomfort after the first day and a half, tiny scars, fabulous office staff to help me... I am so grateful

Dr. Dillingham is great! He is the best mix of forward thinking calculated risk taker and cautious. I wouldn't be as far down the road to recovery without him.

I chose Dr. Dillingham despite his being out of my insurance network. He has been my resource for returning my knees (and shoulder) to full-functionality for over three decades.

Dr. Dillingham was referred to me by a friend that was treated by him. He knew exactly what was wrong with my shoulder. It is now 2 weeks after my surgery and my shoulder is feeling pretty good.

Dr. Dillingham' s care and medical expertise have been outstanding.

My knee surgery by Dr Dillingham was a overwhelmingly positive experience. The entire staff at both Dr. Dillingham's office and the Surgery Center was efficient and professional. The care felt personal and the environment was happy and positive. If I had realized how easy it would be, I'd have done it much sooner!

Dr. Dillingham has taken care of my right knee for 15 years after I wore out my meniscus. He successfully performed arthroscopic surgery, good for about 5 years and then an osteotomy to straighten my, good for 10 more good years. Now need a full knee replacement. Without Dillingham I would have probably had knee replacement much earlier and would now be ready for a second replacement on the same leg which is much more problematic. Excellent doctor, excellent advise, wonderful to work with.

He is very thorough and an excellent surgeon. My recovery time was exactly as he described after the arthroscopic surgery. I had a very large calcified parameniscal syst removed. Dr. D. also cleaned up the tear in my lateral meniscus. I have been walking since the day of surgery and have had minimal to no pain throughout my recovery. I began riding my horse a week and a half after surgery. He is also a nice guy.

Outstanding orthopedic specialist, caring and extremely thorough. Two days after surgery on my left shoulder, the pain I had suffered through for over two years was gone. I have full use of my left shoulder and arm. Dr. Dillingham has treated me also for a knee injury which responded quickly and completely to his care and instructions.

Dr. Dillingham exudes confidence and knowledge in his abilities. I know he's passionate about getting his patients fixed up and back out doing activities they love. His approach is to take the least invasive path to fixing the body and offers very creative solutions. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to use Dr. Dillingham and and thrilled with the results!

If you've managed to injure something, you can expect Dr. Dillingham to be thorough in his evaluation of the problem and to help you decide on the solution best suited to your needs and goals in a straightforward, realistic manner.

Great bedside manner. Willing to take time to explain all options and do so in a thorough manner. Attempted the least invasive, conservative approach before resorting to surgery.

Excellent bedside manner, very dedicated and determined to find the best possible outcome. Methodical with his diagnosis and not quick to cut. Considers the entire body, listens to your concerns and treats you as if you were family. I have had multiple orthopedic surgeons and Doc Dillingham is by far the best doctor I've had. I recommend him to everyone and anyone. I have a very unique and degenerative case and he has been nothing less than amazing!
