Dr. Michael Joseph Dinn III

Dr. Dinn is an okay dentist as long as there’s no real issue with your teeth. He placed a crown on my tooth that popped off twice in the first few months. The third one he placed was jagged and caused problems with food getting caught between my teeth. Having to floss so frequently caused sensitivity. When I expressed my issue he sent me to several specialists who agreed that the crown was not placed properly. I called his office after seeing the specialists and the front desk was very rude and I never heard back about getting my crown replaced. Not even a year later the crown has popped off again. I also had to get a filling he did redone as well. I will no longer be going to this office.

Couldn’t have been more pleased with the way Dr. Dinn and assistant Allie handled my 8 year old daughter’s first filling today. He explained everything to her perfectly and much to my surprise she handled the entire visit so well. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Dinn and his staff are wonderful! I am extremely pleased with the aesthetic dentistry and crown I received. Dr. Dinn, his assistant and dental hygienist are proficient, professional, efficient and personable. The receptionist always provides a warm welcome. A great team! I highly recommend this office!

If there was a negative star I would give it he is a horrible dentist , my crown they he put in fell out and he wouldnt fix it, and before it was completed the first time My mother was dying and he said if I missed appointment he wouldn’t put it in or even give it to me. Terrible service !? Have been going there for several years, unfortunately he is among few dr in the area who is accepting my insurance. After doing a filling on my molar (never explaining to me it’s a deep fill, no communication whatsoever ) I felt some discomfort turning into severe pain in few weeks. Called to schedule an appointment and was refused to be seen(!?) since I need to see an Endodontics for a consultation on possible root canal!? Was able to resolve the issue with one other dentist, who professionally looked and told me, that pain is not even from the filled molar, just the tooth next to it!? Simple ! Really simple!? And he pointed out that the molar that was filled - had too much filling, which should have been fixed, but with mine regular chewing cause to crack my tooth and it will eventually needs to be refilled and fixed. Sure enough 5 months later every bite causes discomfort in the molar filled by dr Dinn. After calling the office and scheduling an appointment to be seen the next day, office calls me few hours before an appointment and cancelling with the same lame excuse to go to specialist for consultation!? In my opinion dentist should do every effort to save the only set of the teeth you have and make it last as long as possible. But as was proven by dr Dinn and his office it’s not the way they work, because it’s not money making model!? Dr. Dinn and his staff were beyond helpful and professional. I needed to get in one specific week and they were very supportive and called me every day to give me a status update before they were able to squeeze me in. Everything turned out great and I'm super happy with the result. Would definitely recommend this office.

I brought my daughter, we were recommended to Dr. Dinn. His staff was super friendly, my daughter thought her Hygenist was very nice and she met Dr. Dinn and thought he was very nice too. Their technology is up-to-date, they use a sign in kiosk, they are following Covid protocol, I'd give 6 stars if I could. My daughter was impressed, and she's not easy to impress! After being a patient for 7 years I was told that they would no longer book me because I had to cancel an appointment. During my most recent cleaning I was pressured to make an appt for a "cavity" when the time came I called to cancel because of no childcare and I figured I'd spare thrm 2 children screaming while I tried to get a filling. I was told by the front desk just to call back to reschedule. When I called back to reschedule the rude receptionist first didn't return my calls for over 2 weeks while she said she had to speak with her office manager then finally I was told I had too many changed appointments when I asked for the dates she started reading off a date from 5 years ago when I had changed one. I believe they discriminate due to insurance. If I had better insurance I feel I would be treated better there. Now after they won't make me a new appointment they will charge me 30 for own records. What a joke this place and that awful front snooty stuck up rude front staff. Should have just brought my screaming kids to that cavity appointment then I guess. Horrible staff, rude & do not care about patients needs, did not call me back at all when I left a message to have manager call me back. Brushed off my concerns & I will not recommended this place.

Amazing staff! I neglected my oral care for a few years due to insurance restrictions. Nicole, my hygienist, was incredible and painless. I have very sensitive gums and teeth. Not only did my cleaning go well, Dr. Dinn had an incredible "chairside"manner. He is very imformative, PAINLESS, helpful, and gives a patient a plan. If you need him, he and his staff will be there. Thanks so much for accommodating an anxious patient. Thumbs up - 5 stars!

My sister had such a great experience so I made an appointment with Dr. Dinn as well. The office is very nice and welcoming. Dr. Dinn was thorough and explained everything in such a patient and friendly manner, I will definitely be back!

My entire family has been receiving excellent dental care from Dr. Dinn and his staff for years. The group is ceaselessly patient and kind. We have always had prompt, friendly and professional dental services. He is extremely gentle and compassionate with my kids and that is hard to come by. Very disappointed in Dr. Dinn's lack of interest in my situation. The only solution he had for a chipped tooth that he filled & after lasting a few months, was a ridiculously expensive veneer that I'm very sorry that I cannot afford. He refused to refill it even after I told him that it was cutting my tongue. His sister who runs the office, was rude & short with me after I explained that the filling didnt't last. She didn't want to hear about it & he did not stand behind his work. Unacceptable.

Awful. Messed up my tooth so bad I had to go to urgent care for the unbearable pain. I had called before and was told that I was informed it was going to slightly uncomfortable. This was beyond uncomfortable and was put on antibiotics by the urgent care doctor. Called to make an appointment to have Dr Dinn look at my mouth ( per the doctor to rule out abcess or infection) and was told I had two options. Root canal or pull the tooth. I was calling for a different pain. Then called back to get my records faxed to my old dentist and was told it was going to cost me 30$. The reception was rude and unhelpful. Never going back. Saw Dr. Dinn less than 2 yrs ago when I had MassHealth. First appt for xrays and cleaning went well with hygienist. Second appt was painless but he worked on 5 teeth in one go and said i didn't need any additional appt. At present most of the work is falling apart. I do not recommend him unless you have good insurance.
