I was disappointed by the care my mother received. Never posted on something like this. Cold, uncaring and in the end, did precious little to help my mother after multiple appts. On our last visit she was supposed to be tested for a pain pump. A med was given at her assisted living that was not supposed two be dispensed. We were like a few hours off. After getting my mother there in an ambulance, there no talk of just delaying the procedure. It was just canceled. No cooperation whatsoever.

I have a chronic pain condition. With his help, my quality of life has improved. He tried every possible treatment for my pain until we found the right option for me. He listens to me. Dr. Dorwart is a very knowledgeable doctor. Always on top of the latest findings in medicine. I trust him completely.

This "doctor" is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He has absolutely no compassion nor does he care. He was extremely rude and it was basically his way or no way. The visit was a complete waste of time. He literally lied to me face about prescribing medications and said he couldn't help me because I'm "too young" but I'm old enough to have a painful disease. A great doctor, but when we need to get ahold of him, we cannot. We leave several messages and never get a response!!!

People please BEWARE of this doctor. At first I had to fill out question sheet. I thought some of the questions unusual, but I was new. When a doctor ask if you get upset with a doctor BEWARE. I got dropped without any notice or pain medication. I have crohn's disease and had several surgery. Try to contact doctor afterwards but he hides behind phones. I’ve been diagnosed with multiple ailments and treated for them by an IU Bloomington pain management doctor for many years using narcotic medicine and injections. The only reason I came to Dr Dorwart was IU Bloomington’s inability to keep a full time doctor on staff at their location. According to Dr Dorwart I only have fibromyalgia. Who is he trying to kid. He needs to spends more time reading the patient’s charts and less time bullshtting with his staff etc. will not be going back!!! I really like and respect Dr.Dorwart! He is honest and straight to the point.

Dr Dorwart has amazing mannerism and straight to the point. He is compassionate and helpful in trying to get to the root cause of your issues. He has some appointments virtually that helps when you have small children to bring to appointments and convenient appointment times. His staff is very on the ball to call you back with questions ,or concerns, and to schedule appointments.He is very fair and knowledgeable in his care. I would refer him to anyone! Insensitive to patient needs. Doesn’t listen to underlying condition. Place is outdated and filthy air flow caused cough once up on second floor that diminished upon leaving the building.

He didn't take anything I said into consideration. He just passed what I had to say off like it didn't mean anything. He acts like a bully who thinks he's better and smarter than everyone else. He had no patience and I came to him for help with my pain and all he did was up my medication dosage that I was already on and it did nothing. He has an it's his way or highway attitude. My Moms visit today was truly heartbreaking and disappointing to say the least. My Mom has been in pain for almost a year due to nerve damage. She was looking forward to this appointment with hope he would come up with a plan or suggestions on what she could do. Instead she was greeted by the most unprofessional, rude, impatient ignorant doctor that any of us had ever encountered. I hate it for my Mom because it takes so much out of her to get to the restroom so to make to his office and to be treated the way she was treated was extremely disappointing. Unlucky for him there were three people who witnessed his behavior. I have every intention on taking this further. If i were you i would think twice before scheduling an appointment with this man unless you dont mind being disrespected and mistreated. Love him, love him, LOVE HIM! Very informative, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Easy to talk to, and he actually listen to me!

I’m so happy to have an amazing physician taking care of me and my pain management needs. He is friendly, informative and patient. I couldn’t ask for a better physician.

My father was a patient of his for 7 yrs before he passed away in 2017.. He is awesome.. Very patient and you never feel rushed.. Would highly recommend him to everyone.. His nurses are wonderful as well.

Please read reviews and be careful. Took my mother in, Dorwart seemed rushed. First time seeing him. Automatically gave a diagnosis and gave a shot. Problem was the diagnosis was WRONG and the shot made everything WORSE. After getting second opinions, Dorwart was wrong all together. He hadn't bothered to read the charts or learn much on her history. Maybe he can help others, but in my experience he did not and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Please do your research and buyer beware. EDIT UPDATE: He was TOTALLY off and had Mom in pain for days after. After visiting the doctors at the neurology building, we found out just HOW WRONG Dorwart was. Dowort did not care about me as a patient. He did not take care of refills In a timely manner & had caused me to run completely out of medi. I called 5 days before my refill was due, plus the day it needed to be filled. He did not respond & caused me to go 2 days with. O pain medication! I would not recommend that anyone would ever go and see this doctor with no compassion or caring for his patients!! If I could leave him zero stars I would Dowort did not care about me as a patient.
