This office starts off with the rudest receptionist EVER & thank ur lucky stars if u DON'T get an appt. because this old orthodontist is tge RUDEST & MEANEST doctor I have been to in over 50 yrs. He did not even finish removing 2 of the 4 teeth because I was supposedly "talking to much" I WAS COMPLETELY OUT, UNDER SEDATION. I went to a Dr. in Albany to remove several teeth & never had a problem once out of 5 visits !. This guy is NASTY !!! The receptionist was pretty rude to me on numerous occasions for no reason

Absolutely horrible experience, went in to get three teeth extracted came out with one because his assistant had to pick up her kida one hour before the office even closed. Dr freedus then proceeded to tell my mother lies and that I take narcotics which affect my sedation, which is not true at all. He treated my mother with no respect and I left the office with only one of my three wisdom teeth extracted. Unfortunately I do not know much about the actual orthodontist there because I couldn't get passed their horribly rude, and power drunk receptionist. I have an impacted wisdom tooth, and called them Wednesday to make an appointment. I was told it would be a week to schedule the consultation, a week for my insurance to approve it, and another week to schedule the procedure. I said how am I supposed to be like this for almost another month, I can barely open my mouth. The receptionist said well a week wait isn't that bad. I said a week wouldn't be bad if you were removing the tooth, but you just told me it would be 3 weeks before that happens. She said well I dont have to schedule you an appointment at all here if you're going to argue with me. I said I'm not trying to argue with but you're telling me (with a mouth that cant open) that a week isn't bad, even though you know you're not removing the tooth for another 3 weeks. At the end of the conversation I said look, I'm sorry I know you're just doing your job, but I'm in pain, cant open my mouth and have 2 kids I need to function for. She said I wish I could do something but I can't, I'll call you back tomorrow with an appointment for the consultation. Never got a phone call. After me calling every day for a week with them telling me everytime that they'd call me back I'm told they are deciding if they want to see me at all because I was rude. I said so you're telling me you made me wait a week out of spite? She said yea, well I dont know what to tell you. The fact that this office plays games with patients when someone questions them is pretty unnerving, especially since they are putting some patients to sleep for dental surgeries there. I also noticed that I'm not the only one that left a review complaining about this exact issue. It's pretty sad when a doctor isn't even aware of certain patients because they can't get passed their rude, entitled receptionist that are trying to play boss knowing patients cant contact the orthodontist directly. I DO NOT RECCOMEND EVEN BOTHERING WITH THIS OFFICE. ESPECIALLY IF YOURE IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU NEED SOMETHING DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IF YIU QUESTION THEM, TELLING YOU THEY DONT WANT TO SEE YOU ISNT ENOUGH, THEYLL PLAY GAMES WITH YOU AND MAKE YOU SUFFER OUT OF SPITE WHICH IS PRETTY UNPROFESSIONAL. Constantly rescheduled. Secretary is terribly inconsiderate. I work the same hours and try to get a hold of them and take time off just to get rescheduled THE MORNING OF my apt. Which when I originally called there wasn’t an opening for 3 weeks and when I got rescheduled there’s suddently an available apt a week away? Everyday 12-1p the office does not pick up which is my lunchtime and only break so it’s been very challenging. Also I’ve tried to contact them at my convenience and she was pretty rude saying “I’ll call you you don’t have to call here”. I then called the Tuesday after I got a message Friday. “Well I called you 4 days ago” the lady said discounting the weekend and proceeded to move my apt over two weeks later. Believe me I’ve worked in customer service for years and I would never act like this, especially towards someone in pain. It’s taken over 2 months (Jan-March) to get my four fully grown in wisdom teeth removed, and that’s not including getting the referral from my dentist. If you can, go somewhere else. The staff were fantastic, they were kind and really put me at ease during my consultation visit. They explained everything in great detail, even answering my silly questions, and really made me feel like I was welcome and safe in their hands. The day of extraction the Doctor once again talked me through what was planned and made sure I was comfortable, despite my admittedly overly intense fear of the procedure. The extraction itself was over in a matter of minutes, according to my husband, as I was put under. The procedure went so smoothly I was up and about within hours. Happily, the only 'pain' I've experienced thus far was my jaw was a bit sore and tired from clutching the gauze, other than that no real pain, for me at least! (Second day post op.) was referred to this place by hamilton dental in july 2017. I have been in excruciating pain since then. because they cant understand i'm in pain they thought i was rude. I have been waiting 6 months for this place to give me an appointment. my husband called them to find out what is going on and they finally decided to tell my husband because i'm in pain and they didn't like my attitude they weren't going to treat me and when he started asking questions the receptionist got rude and hung up. this place doesn't deserve 1 star but i am forced to give it. was referred to this place by hamilton dental in july 2017. I chose to undergo three wisdom tooth removals under just local anesthetic, because I'm a single mom and couldn't handle being out-of-sorts for an entire day. Everybody was great and very concerned about the possibility of feeling pain. I understood, since most of their patients are unconscious, lol. Quick and straightforward. ???????? Recovery was easy, I didn't take the pain meds after the first dose, just ibprofen and aspirin.
