Dr. Michael Robert George

About three months ago, I made the decision to proceed with my cataract surgery. The lens we chose is a multifocal lens in order to get the near vision I was longing to regain. I had reading glasses everywhere, at work, at home, in the car, everywhere. When Dr. George explained to me what my vision would be like after surgery, I definitely decided to proceed with the surgery. The procedure was a very simple one and the staff in the area where the surgery was performed had a relaxed atmosphere with music. The doctor explained step by step what was happening during the process. This made me feel very relaxed and confident. Once the surgery was over, it was explained to me what to do. The next day my vision was 20/20 for both distance and near vision and I do not need to wear glasses to read. As of today I have both eyes operated on. I am very grateful to Dr. George and the staff at Tylock-George Eye Care. Thank you so much for giving me back the peace of mind to be able to read and see everything clearly. Highly recommended ????

Extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. His entire staff are rock stars. Thank you guys for my vision back. 20/15 day after Lasik.

Routine eye exam today. Very thorough and easy to understand explanations. Dr. George made me feel comfortable. Staff were efficient and pleasant and executed COVID precautions professionally.

I travelled from my home in Nashville to Dr. George’s practice to have cataract surgery. I trusted his abilities more than any ophthalmologist I’d ever encountered. I was thrilled with the results. I’m 65 and seeing 20/20 for the first time since grade school.

I had LASIK surgery in Oklahom in 2002. Everything was great, but I noticed I was starting to miss turn offs. I went to see Dr. George at Tylock-George Eye Care abouty two years ago. I was impressed by the friendly front desk staff and the thorough examination. Dr. George was very forthcoming and helped me understand what I should realistically expect after an enhancement. Dr. George was the most knowledgable eye doctor I have ever been to. His high level of precision and extreme attention to detail left me very comfortable in the hands of his care. Dr. George did my second cataract surgery 5 days ago. The first one was a Stellar operation and the second one even better. I chose the traditional IOL and Dr. George explained to me that after surgery I would need over-the-counter reading glasses only. Sure enough my right eye, which he performed less than 3 weeks ago, has great vision, I can see distance very clearly, I can see my I-pad and i-phone clearly. i can read the restaurant menus without glasses. There is no doubt Dr. George is very experienced, knowledgeable and EXCELLENT surgeon. He is very quick and accurate while performing the surgery. (5 minutes for the cataract surgery! WOW!) i had no complications, no one could believe i had surgery done on the eyes because there was no swelling, no redness. it just looked very normal. What i admire Dr. George most is his very humble nature. He is kind, caring, compassionate and his patients come first. Which surgeon is available 24/7 after a surgery? HE IS!

Doctor George is a terrific surgeon who did my cataract surgery last month. I am seeing better than I have in years. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything so I'd understand it. My new tecnis lenses are better than expected and I am so happy my friend recommended you for my surgery. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and your staff.

Doctor George was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable about which Lasik procedure I should get done. He took the time to describe what my outcome would be, and the recovery. The procedure was quick and painless and I am happy I spent a little extra to get the Topo Lasik which they said was the best! I am seeing clearly for the first time in my life. Worth every penny.

Dr. George is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He's by far the best Optomologist ever. He is patient. Explains everything so you understand. He cares about his patients. I love Dr. George, he's worth the 100 mile round trip to see him. I trust him more than any doc!??
