Dr. Michael Chi Gong

Dr. Gong performed a complicated surgery 15-hour surgery on my very advanced bladder cancer. He was so concerned especially due to my age, 80, and provided care I've never before experienced. After surgery, he stopped by many times for the first several days of my 18 days at Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital. I cannot say enough for his skill and compassion. He truly saved my life five years ago.

Accurately diagnosed, offered prognosis choices, and performed the minimally invasive prostate removal surgery successfully. Did a thorough follow-up to ensure the process was successful and I remained cancer free for 5 yrs immediately following and since . Thank you, Dr. Gong.

I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Gong and his team at the Cleveland Clinic. I had a prostatectomy on September 6 and my recovery is well ahead of schedule relative to my expectations. Dr. Gong and his team have been very efficient and inspire trust and confidence. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with Dr. gong. He explained everything in a way that I could understand it. He has a good bedside manner. He is a very friendly and intelligent person. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Gong is without doubt an excellent surgeon. He got my father through a very long and difficult surgery with ease and was very considerate when he delivered by father’s initial diagnosis of cancer. However, his post-operative care needs a bit of work. He’s very short on follow-up and doesn’t provide a full explanation of possible outcomes from surgeries and procedures. In addition, it was extremely difficult to get a call back from him and his office staff, even when my father was admitted in
