Dr Mike treats you like family, and to me that is the best part of seeing Dr Mike for help. I went to him for treatment of migraines and within the first few sessions, I was cured. No joke. I’ve been to ever doctor you could imagine for my whole life, was on anti-seizure medication for the treatment of them, different diets, a ton of stuff and NONE of it worked. I get to Dr Mike, we sit down and get to talking about my daily routines, food habits, stressors, etc. just as I would with a friend, and he automatically knew how to help by seeing a problem in what I was eating, and the stress I took on. His testing (which I’ve never been able to get with any other doctor) showed the various sensitivities I had to foods, and as soon as I cut that out I was good. Haven’t had a migraine while staying true to this information in almost 2 years now, which I used to have about 4 days a week, every week for more than 10 years. Every piece of his work is amazing, I would recommend to anyone. It’s like sitting down with the smart one of your family and being able to talk about anything.

I’ve been to Dr. Mike many times and he is always so kind and thorough in all of my visits. He’s easy to talk to and listens well unlike some of my other doctors. I always leave his office feeling so much better. If you are not getting answers from your doctors, definitely try Dr. Mike.

I’ve always struggled with weight for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I was overweight and very insecure over it. I was bullied for my weight and called names, I had a family member who would make remarks about my weight and having an older sister who was stick thin didn’t help either and made me wonder what was wrong with me and why couldn’t I look like her? I was very unhappy which eventually contributed to me developing depression and anxiety at the age of 12. It was not until my sophomore year of high school that I decided to get serious about my weight. After six months of dieting and exercise, I went from 140 pounds to 127 pounds! I was thrilled that I had the body that I always wanted, I finally gained the body confidence I was so desperately trying to achieve and even with the challenges that I faced throughout the years (pressures of high school, moving during my senior year of high school, figuring out what I wanted to do with my life), I prided myself on the fact that I was still able to maintain my weight. Things changed when I entered my sophomore year of college. That year was when I hit my all time low and I completely let myself go and ended up gaining 38 pounds. The confidence I once had was completely gone and now I was the biggest I had ever been. After coming back home from school, I was back on my journey to lose all the weight I had gained. I went back to dieting and exercising and lost 15 pounds, but I couldn’t seem to lose more. I tried different foods and exercises and different diets, but I had a hard time losing the weight. It was incredibly frustrating because I was doing, what I thought, were all the right things so the fact that I was stuck at 150 pounds was disappointing to me. I was even going to the gym twice a day and still nothing! I was so ready to throw in the towel and call it quits until my mom told me about Dr. Mike Gruttadauria, I had heard of him through my mom’s coworkers and seen the results so when she gave me the idea to set up a consultation with him I was all for it. During my consultation, I knew I wanted to work with him to change my life. Not only did he help me lose the weight I so desperately wanted to lose, but he gave me a safe place to be vulnerable, to be myself and to express myself without feeling judged. He helped to understand things about myself that I never fully realized or figured out, he even helped me realized my diagnosis for borderline personality disorder was a misdiagnosis and that my feelings and emotions were normal and valid. Dr. Gruttadauria helped me to handle my emotions better and how to gain confidence and how to stay positive when trials come my way. Thanks to Dr. Gruttadaria, I am now down from 150 pounds to 118 pounds in the span of 4 months! He helped me to achieve my best self, I have a new found confidence and love for life. I am mentally stronger than I have ever been. I view Dr. Gruttadauria not just as my doctor, but as a friend and a father figure in my life. Without him, I still would’ve been wallowing in my depression and anxiety and unhappy with my life and weight. I would’ve been lost and stayed in my cycle of self doubt and hate. Before working with Dr. Mike I had been sick for 2 years. I suffered from migraines, reflux, nausea, vertigo, heart palpitations, achy joints and anxiety that no medical doctor could help me with. Each one I saw referred me to someone else. I met Dr. Mike in tears and he assured me he would help me figure out what was going on- and he did! After 6 months of following a detox regimen, eliminating certain foods from my diet, taking supplements and having chiropractic adjustments I no longer had any of the symptoms above. My husband found Dr. Mike from someone else he was seeing in his office. He told me the program he was considering to cleanse his gut and anxiety. I said let’s do it together. We have been seeing Dr. Mike for 5 months now. We are gluten and dairy free. My stomach has been amazing. I’m still working on my sugar addiction. All supplements test and chiropractic visits included in the fee to see him. Worth every penny spent. I would recommend him to everyone. There is so much going on in our gut from past from artificial food and medication. For people who think there is 1,2,3 done - that’s not realistic you have to fight to get what you want. Dr. Mike is an incredible doctor and human being. From the moment you walk through the door, you truly know he is here to help people and not to make a quick dollar! I've never ever seen a doctor care so much about his patients' health and I have seen a ton of doctors for both myself and my children. I brought my son in to see Dr. Mike because I wasn't getting help from his other doctors to figure out what was going on with his health. Dr. Mike ran some tests and quickly figured out what the issue was. Instead of prescribing medicine to mask the issue causing the symptoms as most doctors do or sending us to one specialist after another- he got to the root of the problem and was with us every step of the way until we got my son healthy. Dr Gruttadauria has helped me change my life. He helped me and gave me time when my doctors at the va couldn't offer any help or told me me I had issues because I was just fat and just needed to lose the weight. I honestly didn't have a lot of hope in ever living my life to fullest again. It felt like my best days were behind me at the ripe age of 37. He ordered a panel of blood work and other tests to help me determine that my gastrointestinal tract was highly irregular and in need of massive overhaul to repair my overall health. I have been doing a lot of work on the mental health side but my physical health was in major need of repair. Dr. Gruttadauria put in the time and effort to help me come up with a plan to fix my physical issues. I have been working with Dr. Mike and could not feel more blessed. He is kind, empathetic, and truly listens.. something that many do not do. He has a calming presence that always puts me at ease after leaving the office. I have struggled horribly with gut issues, anxiety, and feeling off balance (on & off for years). Dr. Mike is thorough and works to address the root cause/issue. This is truly the first time I feel like I will and can get better. I know I am on a journey and understand that the body takes time to heal, but know that I am moving in the right direction. I originally had 5 stars but commented prematurely. I was very positive at the beginning but 7 weeks in I've developed terrible GI issues that I've never had my whole life. Dr. Mike referred me to his Gastroenteroligist and he had the complete opposite opinions Dr. Mike had and believes my GI issues are being caused by Dr. Mike. I decided to leave Dr. Mike's program a month early as I cannot take the GI pain and discomfort anymore. Dr. Mike claims it's my gut repairing itself but I don't believe that. He's arrogant, doesn't answer questions and tells you he'll do anything to help you yet if you text or email him, he rarely gets to back to you and gives you generic answers.. Not only the money I spent but now I'm back to square one with more issues than I came to him with. To answer Dr. Mike's response, #1, your response is not even written correctly grammatically which is quite scary and proof that you don't review your work. #2, you obviously don't care that much if you're responding 7 months later. #3, my review is completely correct and accurate. Everything that I said was true and happened. I'm not disparaging your practice for no good reason. I was one of those people with extremely significant issues coming to you in a time of need and you did not help me, you made me worse. I spent a lot of money to end up worse and I think people should be aware of it and have all the information at hand. I'm currently working with a functional nutritionist and amazingly I have zero GI issues anymore that you caused, she knows a lot more then you do, and is 2/3 the cost. I went to Dr. Mike fir Chronic Fatugue and depression as nothing else has worked. He did a complete work up which looked promising but 7 weeks later I've been left with terrible GI issues that I've never had in my whole life so he recommended his Gastroenteroligist. The Gastro believes it's Dr. Mike that's causing the GI issues. I can no longer take the pain and discomfort and gave decided to leave his program a month early. After all the time and money invested I'm left at square one with more conditions than I had when I first started seeing him.

Dr. Mike helped to overhaul my health beginning at the root causes.
