Dr. Michael Alan Hinton

There are not enough words to describe how remarkable Dr. Alan Hinton is as a surgeon. He is compassionate and clearly one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country. His staff is similarly skilled and caring, a rare find in these parts of the country, and a state with mostly failing health care grades - LA turns up 49 and 50 on state health care rankings. A truly gifted surgeon and gem of human being.

Hip replacement went smoothly and virtually pain free.

Follow up with Dr. was a disappointment. I had to call several times to get results from MRI & then the nurse was not very professional when finally telling me how I was to follow up from diagnosis. No discussion about cause of injury, therapy, exercises, etc.. Will not be returning.

I broke my arm and I just knew I was gonna have to have surgery. I have a huge fear of needles. I went in to see Dr. Hinton the first thing he said no surgery. We are gonna let this heal on its own. I can tell my arm is healing. I am getting stronger by the day. Dr. Hinton you are the most awesome Dr. I love you and all your staff. You made a very difficult thing easy to deal with being since I had to wait till I'm 49 to ever break a bone. Thank you from my humorous bones and all.??????

I would highly recommend this physician. Excellent bedside manners, friendly office staff, convenient parking, no recording when you call (you speak to a live person), fast appointments. You are treated like family when you walk through the door.

Dr. Hinton listens to the patient and responds to their needs. Takes the time to explore all tests to find the problem if not easily found at first. Has a kind manner and appears to care about his patients.

Dr. Hinton is amazing. Very good at what he does. Very caring Man. Would do it all over again.

I am very satisfied with the 2 surgeries that he has done on me. Appointments are on time and he has very good bed side manner. He explains everything in detail.

absolutely wonderful.. Compared to the Right hip procedure I had 7 years ago, it was a piece of cake.. Dr . Hinton's anterior approach was a VAST improvemet with both pain and recovery. All I ever used for pain was Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Completed at home PT in two weeks and have had very little discomfort through it all.

Dr. Hinton and his staff are very professional and compassionate. They are extremely helpful and you're in good hands when you're under their care. I would recommend to family and friends.
