Dr. Michael D Louria

I had my first (and hopefully last) root canal this week and Dr. Michael made it as pleasant as I imagine a root canal can be. He was very patient with me and all of my questions, and made sure I knew what was going on. His staff was absolutely wonderful- from the receptionist to the assistants, everyone made me feel like they truly cared about me. If you need a root canal or to see an endodontist for any reason, I highly recommend Winter Springs Endodontist!

Unfortunately I’ve had to go to Dr Louria a few times as did my husband. The aging process. He’s is absolutely the best Dr for any dental problem. I used to hear how terrible a root canal will be and I had my first in2015 that Dr Louria performed. I had a dental emergency and called Dr. Louria's office on a referral from my dentist. They were friendly, fast and had me feeling better by that evening. I highly recommend Dr. Louria and his staff. You won't be disappointment.

Told a contracted price and they added extra misc. charges in the hundreds. Unprofessional and misleading. Wouldn’t go back to this office or dentist

They got me in quickly. The entire process was quick and accurate. I was terrified of having a root canal but they did a great job! Absolutely no pain! Dr. Louria explained everything and answered all of my questions. His staff was super friendly and caring. The insurance/financial information was accurate and provided ahead of time. Very unsatisfied with the office and billing staff and the whole process. I called the office before I made the appointment and asked about the cost of retreatment, the lady who answered the phone gave me an estimate and I asked her is that would be everything and she said yes. After my first visit (which was an evaluation visit and they never mentioned that when I made the appointment) I end up paying an extra charge for a CT that was never discussed. After the third visit and paid off all my balance and asked is this everything, and they said yes end up paying 3X initial quote they gave me. After 2 months I received another statement with additional payments that I have to make, I called the office, the lady answered with attitude and said will send it to collections if you don’t pay!!!! My experience at Dr. Lourias was great. The staff and Dr. Louria were very professional. I was there as are referral for a cracked tooth. The technology he used was awesome in deciding to save my tooth or not. I will definitely be back.

My 16 year old had a lump in her gum above one of her top molars. Her dentist said she probably needed a root canal, and sent me to Dr. Louria. I told him my concerns about a 16 year old having a root canal, and he told me that was why I shouldn’t go to ANYONE except Dr. Louria. He said some doctors use lower quality products in their practice, but Dr. Louria doesn’t skimp. I trust my dentist thoroughly (he’s the highest recommended dentist in Oviedo), so I was much more comfortable. He was right, too. Dr. Louria was amazing. He spent a really long time with us, even working us in for a CT to make sure the problem was what he thought it was. It turned out her tooth was resorbing, and a root canal wouldn’t fix the problem. I’m sure lesser doctors would have done the root canal, then let me deal with it later. Dr. Louria sent me immediately to an oral surgeon, and they got her in the same day. They put her on antibiotics, but there was a problem with the prescription going through. The oral surgeon was closed the next day, so I called Dr. Louria. He called in the prescription himself! He didn’t have to do that, but that just seems to be the kind of doctor he is. Love this office, love his staff. I would use them any time I need them, and would recommend them to anyone. I visited Dr. Louria for a root canal and received exceptional care from doctor and support staff that left me very impressed. The office was very professional and were clearly skilled at what they do. They were also very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Louria took his time to address all of my concerns and also to just be a genuinely friendly person. Prior to visiting Dr. Louria I was in pain and very nervous about needing a root canal. After visiting, and when I actually did the procedure, I felt comfortable that I was in good hands. I’m on my second root canal in 8 years and chose Dr. Loria again. Very, very competent and efficient with the procedure. Painless and back home quickly with only needing some ibuprofen. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Great! He did a root canal and the only thing that bothered me (for about 5 seconds) was getting the shot of novocaine. (but then again .. I hate shots) He’s the best in Endodontics . Obtained appt fairly quickly and did not have to wait once I got there. Highly recommend him!

I have been to Dr. Louria one time to find out if he could do a retreat of a root canal. He called me that night to tell me that after reviewing my x-rays and scan, he could not save the tooth. I told him that I appreciated his honesty because he could have made money by telling me that he would try to save the tooth. He said that he sleeps better if he tells the truth. If I ever need an endodontist again, he will be the one I call. Honesty is an admirable trait !

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Louria and his helpful staff... He did two root canals and he was so patience and kind to me since I had many concerns. I would highly recommend him. He was fabulous for my care. Staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dr. Louria!

I came here with the expectation of having a successful root canal and that is exactly what I got. This doctor is extremely professional and so is his staff from the moment you walk in to the building up to the follow up process after your procedure. He is a very smart doctor to do the appointments in two sessions to make sure the inflammation goes down and that the procedure can be finished. I fully trust this doctor and would recommend my friends and family to go to him for any root canal issues because he did an excellent job and thanks to this office and Dr. I no longer have tooth pain. Excellent work!!!! Went to get a root canal and was a little nervous Bc of what I had heard about root canals in general. But that was not the case at all. Dr. Louria was awesome...I felt no uncomfort at all. The procedure went smooth and flawless. Recovery was just as good. Not that anyone wants to have a root canal but if I have to have another one, I know exactly where to go!!! Thanks Dr. Louria??

Dr. Michael Louria was very professional and patient when treating me for my root canal. He was thorough and and helped me to eliminate the pain I was having with the tooth in question. The procedure was lengthy(as root canals usually are), but I was up and back at work by the end of the day.

I found myself in need of a root canal which I was not looking forward to. Dr Louria and his staff were very professional and eased all of my concerns. He explained the procedure before he started and let me know during the procedure exactly what was happening. The procedure was over before I knew it. Dr Louria did a great job. I would definitely recommend him.

He performed two root canals on me. Both teeth already had root canals done before and I asked him : "Are you sure these are the problem teeth?" He said yes and performed the root canals. Three days later I was transferred to the hospital in an ambulance with a massive tooth abscess. I went through a surgery and stayed in the hospital for three days. I was treated with IV antibiotics and pain killers for three weeks. This doctor did not even give me an appointment after the surgery.

Dr. Louria failed to take the complete root of a molar in a root canal. As a result I experienced excruciating neuralgia for over a year. I spend lots of money in medical doctors, MRI, and lab work to find out where the neuralgia was coming from. I had to suffer until an abscess appear on the molar where Dr. Louria did the root canal.

I was very apprehensive and nervous over the procedure which was all unnecessary. Dr. Lauria and staff were very professional, my comfort lever was important to them and it was an overall easy procedure for me and if another visit were required I would definitely use this Doctor. Highly recommend!

I had a root canal done by Dr. Louria and it was absolutely painless. The office is professional and the staff is helpful and caring. I would recommend Winter Springs Endodontics.
