I was very impressed with Dr. Lovelace and his nurse with their friendly hands on approach. This was my first visit. He took his time with my Mom to explain her situation. Very good. On the other hand, the reason I gave a 3 rating is because of the COVID season we are in I had to ask him to put on a mask and he was croaking/coughing in our midst. That really offended me because me and my mom both have underlying conditions. Also I didn’t see any hand sanitizer stations throughout the hallway. The facility didn’t seem to be sanitary conscious in light of the pandemic season we are in. I was very disappointed and I am still mentally disturbed by these facts I have mentioned. I've been a patient of Dr. Lovelace's and have known him for many years. Such a kind person and an excellent surgeon. He's a blessing to so many!

I just submitted a synopsis concerning my experience with Dr Lovelady and my gall bladder, the Whipple procedure. I will add that all I look forward to after getting up in the mornings is to take my Ambien and going back to sleep. What a life!!! I had to retire from work 5 months after the Whipple!!!!! (Whipple done in Jackson, Ms!! Must be a LOT of money in that surgery!!!!!)

Very professional and attentive to my medical needs.

Myself or my friend will never reccomend this man

Rude receptionist. You would think the businesses of oxford would be more professional however as a client who has been living in the local area i am extremely offended and disappointed by this let down of service

I had a specific problem that he assured me he could treat. I did all the diagnostic tests he ordered and got on his surgery schedule. He called me a few days before and said he would not do it and his reasoning was very weak. I asked him for a referral to a surgeon that could and he said he would do that. It's been weeks and I still have not heard from him. I've been a nurse 30+ yrs and know when I've been dumped.

Awesome experience

Wonderful Doctor. I felt safe and at ease. Dr. Lovelace spoke with me on the phone about my diagnosis and his plan for surgery. I felt confident that my health was in his hands.
