Dr. Michael J Mehlbauer

I went to Dr. Melbauer in 2016 for an extraction of a tooth that I didn't even know was fractured. He extracted it and went through the whole implant process with me. A couple of days ago, my DDS couldn't figure out what was wrong with my tooth through x-rays, so I called Mahlbauer's office. They saw me the same day and he realized that I had another fracture in a different tooth (different x-rays). Because of my difficult roots, he explained that I should be put under anesthesia for the procedure and referred me to an oral surgeon. Just an all around good guy.

Yes, He's great--and very careful to take precautions against pain.

I went to this office to get an estimate for a gum graph that my dentist said I needed. After rushing me in and making me feel very uncomfortable. I found out after the fact that they do not take insurance when I was told they do. With that being said. I have been charged 72.00 for that day which I thought was just getting an estimate. They should have been more up front with me in the beginning about that day. Now they want to turn me over to a collection agency. I do mot recommend them at all!! I've had two implants with Dr. Mehlbauer, one of which required a bone replacement, I had no problems other than the expected amount of discomfort during the several days recovery period. I give him five stars. He is ready when you arrive and goes about his work quickly in a professional manor. The assistants are also professionals and very helpful. The equipment and offices appeared very clean and Dr. Mehlbaure was available 24/7 if I had needed any help after the operations.

For those people who are leery of dentists I would recommend Dr. Melbauer. He has a nice chair side manner and tries to make you feel comfortable. The staff is excellent and I have been pleased with his work. I hate going to the dentist, but actually don't dread going to him. I would highly recommend him.
