Dr. Michael Gary Michlitsch

Dr. Michlitsch is the best! My daughter has been seeing him for several years for knee and shoulder issues with her sports and he has been amazing. He takes the time to listen to her, explain it all to her and even gave her a bunch of photos taken during her surgery at her request. We completely trust in Dr. Michlitsch!

Dr. Michlitsch is an excellent doctor. He listens and explains. I had previous rotator cuff surgery on one of my shoulders and am returning to him for surgery on my other shoulder.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Michlitsch as a patient for various orthopedic issues for many years and I worked with him as a recovery room nurse for 20 years. He is ALWAYS kind, understanding, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He’s an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him!

I was having terrible shoulder pain, stemming down my arm, which was a constant deep, aching and weakness… I had the good fortune of choosing Dr. Michael Michlitsch! After an MRI confirmed that I had torn my rotator cuff full length, and full width, I found myself choosing him to do a surgery I had tried to avoid for several years now! Dr. M, told me that he can fix this, but I have to do the hard work as in postop physical therapy recovery. I am almost 8 weeks postop now, and will just be getting out of my swing at the eight week mark. Dr. M is not only an excellent surgeon, but he has wonderful bedside manner and confidence in himself, which makes me feel very much at ease! He’s a busy man and there’s usually a wait at his office for your appointment, but once you’re seen, he never appears rushed and is totally focused on you and your care when he steps into the exam room. He is definitely worth the wait! I feel very blessed that I took a look at the profile of the doctors that do shoulder surgery at Golden State Orthopedics and chose him for a consult and knew when I left that day that he was the one I wanted to do the surgery if it came to that. If you’re looking for an excellent confident and capable surgeon with a warm and sincere demeanor, I would highly recommend you meet with Dr. Michael Michlitsch.

Very nice young man. Let's see how I feel about him after repairs to my left shoulder. I've never had invasive surgery before, so am just a tad cautious. Hope for the best. Pray for something other than the worst. I wonder what people did 100 years or more ago when they had my relatively minor issue?

I am so thankful with Dr Michlitsch He kind, and understanding and the best part is that He is amazing on his practice, I knew that I was in a very good hands for the surgery I need it, With no doubt I will go with him again.

Dr. Michlitsch was extremely thorough and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions. My surgery was an absolute success!

He was always patient and listened to my concerns. He offered solutions that would give me the best possible results to be pain free.

I have seen Dr Michitsch several times :-( and he has been a consummate professional. Explains options very well and is very to the point. I would highly recommend him for orthopedic surgery.

As a medical professional we tend to judge our peers with a finer microscope than some. I assure you there is no better orthopedic surgeon in the tri-valley for knee injuries! Dr. Michlitsch was very pleasant and sympathetic. His staff are very accommodating except for the receptionist a young girl who’s a bit rude and impolite but I still gave 5 stars for Dr. Michlitsch

Dr. Michlitsch (10 stars) He is extremely professional, kind, respectful and he really wants to help you get back to living a quality life as soon as physical possible. Staff and facilities are top notch (10) extremely attentive from the front office staff to the back of office assistants. The surgery booking team (10) will keep you informed every step of the way, and work with you to make this a seemless transition from pre op to post op recovery as well as your pre and post rehabilitation. I highly recommend this surgen snd his team, if you need help and are doing your research, this was my choice and you will find should be your choice.
