Dr. Michael Mikola

I have always found Dr. Mikola to be professional & knowledgeable. When he walks into the room he is familiar with my medical history & listens carefully to any of my concerns. His nurse, Linda, is prompt & efficient in responding to my phone requests or getting back to me with Dr. Mikola’s answers. I had so many problems taking statins for high cholesterol & Dr Mikola kept trying different possibilities until he found the one thing that does work for me. I am pleased with the level of personal service I have received in the 6+ years that Dr Mikola has been my physician.

Probably one of the best doctor visits I have had in a long time. He took the time to listen to my concerns, he was interested in what I had to tell him, if he didn’t know something he was excited to look it up, he knew ailments and treatments outside of his general scope of practice and he was willing to think outside of the box which is not normal for a traditional MD.

We've been with Dr. Mikola for around10 years, Threw out all that time he proved to the cosumate Professional. He takes the time to explain everything in detail . The office staff is friendly & efficient at thier jobs. I couldn't ask for a better Doctor & staff as well as his nurse Linda ! who is very knowleable in her own right.

Excellent care. Have been with Dr. Mikola for 12 years and always a positive experience. He takes time to explain everything. He was on call this weekend at the hospital and I was lucky enough for him to take care of me.

Did bloodwork and he gave me a prescription. I had trouble with insurance and reached out to him for help. I received no return calls and by the time I did get through I was instructed that I needed to go through all the bloodwork again. Obviously no time for patients! Would not recommend going to him

Dr.Mikola has been my doctor for many years, and I think he is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him! He is careful to go over test results and make appropriate recommendations if needed. He and his nurse, Linda, are prompt in seeing you and getting back with you concerning test results. He doesn’t hesitate to send you to a specialist if needed. He and Linda are kind, considerate, and compassionate. The staff is great too.

Professional that examines your total health. Explains labs and tests and allows ample time for questions. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Mikola has been my primary care physician for 14 years. He carefully evaluated my multiple symptoms at our first meeting, ordering appropriate testing for accurate diagnosis, followed by effective medication and development of an ongoing treatment plan. He has helped me to manage several medical conditions over the years, ordering further testing and medication as necessary. Dr. Mikola and his staff have always responded promptly to my concerns, earning my faith and trust in their care.

Have been going to Dr. Mikola for 10 years and he has always listened to me and has provided excellent input and would refer you to a specialist when needed. He his also my wife’s physician and was my in-laws physician for many years without any negative complaints. My recent visit he not only responded well to my questions he even asked about issues I did not mention. I am very pleased with him and his staff.

Excellent. He pays more attention to patient than to the computer screen

I trust Dr. Mikola. He displays concern and kindness. He is up to date on medical advancements. I feel that my health is in good hands with him.

This "doctor" unnecessarily prescribed statins for my husband. Because of these statins which he took for years because of Dr. Mikola, he suffered from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. This man should never have been reinstated to practice medicine after his penalties.

Have been a patient of Dr. Mikola for the last 13 or 14 years. I have found him to be both professional and helpful. The way medicine is regulated now has a lot to do with how doctors are required to deal with patients. I have never been rushed. Phone answering mach. makes it difficult to reach them sometimes. However, since the institution of Patient Portal I have always had prompt responses to my ASK THE DOCTOR questions. His nurse has been very responsive to me at all times.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mikola for over ten years and have always found him very professional and easy to talk to when I am unsure of what is going on medically. I have several health issues and from the beginning I always felt he has been familiar with my medical history and works with me to insure my quality of life is the best it can be. I have found his nurse to be very professional and makes sure that Dr. Mikola knows what is happening with me and responds quickly when called.

He is a 5-minutes doctor. The minutes he walks in, it looks like he is ready to leave. Completely disengaged with the patient. His nurse is very unfriendly and is is impossible to get hold of her during the day. It takes 1 1/2 days for her to respond with a call back. Not recommending this practice at all.

I would not recommend Dr. Mikola. He is disengaged, disinterested and borderline incompetent. I mentioned I was having trouble sleeping and he declared I have sleep apnea. What? It was so bizarre and random. I don't have sleep apnea. I'm 50 and going through pre- menopause. It was hormonal but he never even mentioned that this is common for women my age.
