My father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, Dr. Moffett made a plan for him to do chemo and radiation. He did not get him started for 6 weeks. Meanwhile my father is starving, hasn't eaten due to the tumor. Why the delay in treatment? He went from 220lbs to 160lbs all in Dr. Moffetts care. When my dad had enough, he got a new oncologist then Dr. Moffett sends him a letter "to inform you I am discontinuing further professional attendance upon you". What was the point AFTER he got a new oncologist? "You can't fire me, I quit"? My father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, Dr. Moffett made a plan for him to do chemo and radiation. Dr. Moffett was rude and overlooked my concerns when I met him. I’m not sure if he was in a rush, but I would not go back to him. Please seek help elsewhere. I don’t recommend

Dr. M. and staff are terrific. So knowledgeable and organized, great follow thru. On time, never much of a wait. Spends all the time you need. Like going to see good friends! Excellent with symptom management and comfort measures. Keeps up to date on newest treatments.

My husband was in Clovis Community Hospital for about 30 days while they ran every test known to man except the one that Dr. Moffett ordered. Finally after walking out of the hospital Dr. Moffett did the test in his office and with in 2 weeks we knew what was wrong with my husband. He had Hairy Cell Leukemia. Dr Moffett took care of him through chemo and infusions of blood and my husband is now in remission due to Dr. Moffetts constant care. Dr. Moffett saved my husbands life and he did it in the most caring way I have ever seen any doctor do. I can't thank him enough. His staff are up to date and efficient and reflect the Doctors caring attitude. This is one Doctor appointment my husband looks forward to. We have been seeing Dr. Moffett for over 3 months and he's been great. His staff is very friendly.

I've been to a lot of Dr.'s over the last fifteen years and I have to say, most were horrible at best. Dr. Moffett however has been very good. He's thorough, smart and when he speaks to you he's actually looking at you. I don't know how many Dr.'s come in a room, looking over your chart, now the computer and don't really connect with you or your issues. I've also had great care over seas and it's sad the US has a serious decline in healthcare...ironically there's a "lack" of care.

The level of patient care is outstanding. Dr. Moffat not only treats the disease but just as importantly, he treats the patient. He saved my daughter's life and currently is treating my husband. He is everything you would ever want as a compassionate and caring doctor. His beside manner is unparelled. He truly wants to make a difference in every aspect of his patient care. We love you Dr Moffett!

Dr.Moffett was not comfortable diagnosing my husbands carcinoid syndrome and refused to research any further. Flash forward several months and new doctor and found the tumor. News flash Moffet. HE HAS CANCER. Thanks for doing nothing.

Very knowledgeable and professional while also being compassionate and approachable.. The perfect doctor in my opinion. So glad he is here in Fresno Ca

Staff needs training, extremely rude...maybe doctor doesn't want patients due to full caseload? The staff is making sure to run patients off. These are people with CANCER, scared and desperate and should be treated with kindness, patience and compassion...that is not the case.

Can not meet a scheduled apt within an hour. Seems flippant about his poorly run office and meeting patient's needs. I flew back to Fresno specially for my apt and after 1 hour and 15 minutes his assistant came in and told me that it would still a wait. I informed that I had to leave soon and was told to reschedule. If you are an understanding person like I am you would accept an apology and hope for a timely resolution. You will get neither at this office. This is my first ever critique.

He started out like a great doctor, caring and compassionate with the consult, after that, it went down hill from there. He never followed up during treatments, until we called the office after 5 weeks into the chemotherapy. Long waits of 1 hr or more every appointment, and only sees you in 2 minutes, never discusses lab results whether they are normal or not, unless you ask or remind him, and doesn't have the right equipment to do his job.

I've been a patient of Dr Moffett's since 1998 ,he has been taking very good care of me with my follow ups every since I was treated for my breast cancer any concerns I've had he has addressed them to my satisfaction.

Dr. Moffett is a generally kind man who is very knowledgable. However, he's not as cognizant of the needs of a geriatric patient as he needs to be. The office is not administered well. Changes are made and patients are not informed in a timely manner and are left wondering what's going on. He tends to think everyone can do the things he can do, but we aren't all at that point.
