Dr Molinaro is very empathetic, compassionate and incredibly caring. His staff is excellent as well. I’m very grateful to be a patient of theirs.

Dr Molinaro has been my physician for 15 years. He makes you comfortable and is very personable. I live in Monmouth county and don’t intend on using anyone but him. He is the best!

I've been a patient of Dr. Molinaro for seven years. He's conscientious, listens well, and provides great care. The problems lie with his computers and staff. I've moved twice in the last five years. Every time I visited Dr. Molinaro since then, I told his staff: I've moved. Every time, they entered my new address into their system. Every time, it didn't work. Eventually my bill went to a collection agency because they continued sending bills to my original address. In two cases, my visit was upcoded to a higher - and more expensive - medical code. Each occurrence required dozens of phone calls to resolve. Every time, the staff got angry and snippy. Twice, they hung up on me. This is unacceptable. So I've found a new doctor. Dr. Molinaro is part of Mountainside Medical Group, which is part of Hackensack University Medical System. These two companies are responsible for the consistent staffing and computer problems. Dr. Molinaro is a great doctor, undercut by dysfunctional systems.

Dr. Molinaro is spot on whenever he makes a diagnosis! He never ceases to amaze me. I walk out of his office feeling totally confident and blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.

I have always found Dr. Molinaro to be pleasant, caring, a good listener and an all-around good doctor. The assistants are skilled and do their jobs well. It is often hard to get through to the office staff on the phone which is my only complaint.

Doc was great and so was nurse who took vitals and other information in the exam room. However, office staff was pretty rude. We were not told to fast before our physicals so the doc must have mentioned something to the front office staff. The staff spoke loudly (we can still hear you behind the plexiglass) about how patients were liars and that everyone is told to fast. My husband played them a confirmation voicemail that made no mention of fasting.

Dr. Molinaro is very nice but the office was frenzied and I waited over an hour for a 10-minute appointment. Not a great experience. Maybe it was just a busy day!

Dr. a olinaro has been my physician for a number of years now and will continue to be so for future care. That, I think, speaks for itself. But, additionally, I appreciate his attention to issues, care, and advice. Doug is also very good at what he does.

He takes time to explain and answers your questions. I have been a patient since he started practicing. You can get an appointment in an emergency if needed.

Dr. Molinaro is a knowledgable internist who doesn't hesitate to refer the patient to specialist when indicated. He listens and communicates attentively and pleasantly and efficiently. I have been his patient for about eighteen years, and he has treated both major and minor problems with equal professionalism.

I have been a patient for quite a few years. I have full faith in him as a physician and an individual. He is very thoroug in his exams and addresses any and all concerns I may have.

10 minute yearly visit. The exam was done when I was fully dressed. In prior years the exam was much more thorough. I am very disappointed. In addition, upon examining my urine, I was told that they would be in touch for either further testing or medication. No one contacted me with regard to this.

Dr. Molinaro is a fine physician, and his staff, especially the nurses and phlebotomist, is wonderful. Everyone listens carefully, spends enough time with patients, and carefully explains everything. I'm especially grateful for the phlebotomist's skillful ability to draw blood efficiently and painlessly.

Came for a follow-up visit from Dec. staff were courteous and followed Covid protocols carefully. Very short wait in the waiting room. A new MA checked me in. Dr came in promptly and we reviewed my care. He stated those things he was concerned about, gave me an opportunity to ask questions and had me make another appointment. I feel that he heard me and that we communicated well. Thanks to everyone!

Wellness visit, very thorough, doctor took much time going over records, discussed health issues and decisions, ordered routine tests and special tests, very professional and personable. He is the reason I stay in Montclair!

I've been seeing Dr. Molinaro for a couple of years and overall I find him to be an excellent clinician and also a very nice person. But when I have a problem I CAN'T GET ANYONE IN THE OFFICE TO CALL ME BACK!! It's sooo frustrating. His outgoing voicemail says don't leave multiple messages. But how can patients resolve things that may require more explanation than 30 seconds, or whatever the length of one voicemail is? They seldom pick up the phone and when they do, they say someone will call back but there is never a call back. I heard about someone else who had the same problem with this office. I'm considering trying to find a new GP, which is a shame since I really like Dr. Molinaro and I think he's a good practitioner. I really don't want to switch. Do the doctors see these reviews? I'd love it if this problem could be solved and I could stay with Dr. Molinaro. Thanks.

Yes I would he takes his time and listens and explains everything to you. He addresses your concerns

I had a call from a PA on a Saturday morning with no called ID the message was to call the office on blood work. I called back immediately to get answering service. I then called on call doctor who was rude and unhelpful. I texted the doctor - saying I was concerned. I was able to get through the office on Monday at 9:30 - office opened at 7:30. The PA wanted to talk about my cholesterol, which we had previously discussed one week earlier. She then said the doctor wanted me to start a medication that I had been prescribed a year earlier - which I had been taken off because of muscle pain? I then got a letter today saying I would no longer be under their care due to ‘inappropriate behavior’. Good riddance - terrible care -

The entire family has been going and has been followed by Michael for 20 years now. He and his team know the entire family and we wouldn't think of going to someone else. Michael and his team are always there, listening and trying to help us as best they can. We know we are in good, competent and trustworthy hands and care with them.
