He is a real Dr. The kind that cares about you as a person. He is helpful in every possible way. I have known him 30 years, 15 years my personal Dr. there is none better.

Dr. Palestine is an amazing doctor and I credit him with saving my husband's life. My husband had been to another doctor that had diagnosed him with cat scratch fever (due to enlarged lymph nodes). That doctor gave my husband antibiotics and told him to be on his way. That didn't sit well with me (especially given our cat was 13 and never outside) and out of desperation I thought perhaps he had an infectious disease picked up from a recent trip to South Africa. I got my husband an appointment quickly and evaluating my husband, Dr. Palestine cleared his schedule and wrote very detailed instructions for blood draws and biopsies to be performed in a certain way. He even called me into his office to explain how and what needed to be done. My husband was diagnosed with rare lymphoma within 2 weeks after our first visit. My husband was successfully treated at Stanford and has has been without evidence of disease for nearly 10 years. I would recommend Dr. Palestine to anyone and everyone.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Palestine for a follow up after being treated for acute Lyme Disease. I scheduled an appointment, waited in the reception area for an hour and was then told he would need to reschedule me. I asked that he call me instead as I had waited weeks for the first appointment. He did call whereupon I told him the nature of my need to see him. His comments were, there is no such thing as chronic Lyme and if I'd taken the antibiotics that was all I needed to do. No further testing was needed. I'm writing this review two and a half years later because I do still have a persistent Lyme infection which has also led to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I'm sick of hearing doctors downplay the possibility of chronic conditions as a result of Lyme. So please anyone suffering from this condition DO NOT consider Dr. Palestine as a resource. He's not at all up to date but thinks he is...

He may be a great doctor. I wouldn’t know. After five phone calls to Southwest I am still on able to get an appointment. They give me a different role in reason for why I can’t make an appointment every time I called. Then apparently only one person can make the appointment and she is never there. Deadly ill, with incontrovertible and obvious symptoms, that have gotten very bad, three years after seeing him and being told that he would find nothing and implied that I didn't need tests. He complained that he was low energy and fatigued. He did not examine me except to give me a reflex test. He rushed me out and I didn't force the issue. When I get my diagnosis, you can bet I'll be suing him for medical malpractice. I pray that I have no loss of human functionality from his inadequate care.
