THE ABSOLUTE WORST! In my case....VERY POOR diagnosis which contributed to a MAJOR heart attack that SHOULD have been avoided. Almost died...and Dr. Rocha REFUSED to accept "input/suggestions" from numerous other "VERY qualified docs" and ERs! In my opinion....VERY STUBBORN and REFUSED to listen to my complaints... I trusted and believed in this man....BIG mistake! After a couple of years of constant complaints about "chronic chest pains and other classic cardiac symptoms".....a prior history of a heart attack, several strong suggestions from other "very qualified doctors" and ERs that I "should have been" paid much more attention and listened to...the symptoms "were obvious" and finally had a massive heart attack. I had actually been seen by Dr. Rocha the week before. At that appointment....I "just knew" there was something VERY wrong and was very vocal about it....having had a heart attack some 10 years ago. As usual....he "refused" to believe me and just wrote it off as "anxiety". About a week later ended up with a major heart attack and 2 more stents were installed. In my opinion....Dr. Rocha is very stubborn, I question just how educated he is with complex cardio issues, as mine are....and REFUSES to listen to patients! Period! My 70 plus mother has been suffering from long standing high blood pressure, uncontrolled inspite of being on multiple medications. Dr Rocha who came highly recommended not only saw her on an emergent basis, do an ECHO, took the time to go over all her medication list and correctly diagnose her problem and started her on new medications with which her blood pressure and shortness of breath improved tremendously. He is extremely kind, compassionate, excellent bedside manners and astute in diagnosing and treating without ordering too many tests. He also took the trouble to check on her health inspite of his busy schedule. I am so fortunate to have found him and being a Radiologist myself I am glad I was able to have taken my mother to him. All his staff at his clinic in Hawthorn too have been nothing but excellent. My mother is more than grateful to have him as her Cardiologist. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Almost killed me!

Put plainly.....almost died under the care of this man! REFUSED to believe patient and other doctors... Had a MASSIVE heart attack. Had just seen him the week before for minor surgery clearance....and almost 2 years of complaints of "severe chronic chest pain"... Stay away form this this guy! He doesn't LISTEN.... Stubborn! Would have died if I had the surgery.... Total JERK!

THE WORST! Almost died of a MASSIVE heart attack while under his care... He REFUSED to listen to me and other doctors that warned him of my condition. VERY stubborn doctor and LOUSY attitude... You CAN find FAR better! Stay Away from this doc... TOTALLY blew it with me....and I almost died! JERK!
