Interesting to know this hack is still practicing medicine and his nervous tic for humming and singing with his big ego is a thing. He was my family’s physician back in the 80’s when I was a teenager on Long Island. He’d treated me for viral pneumonia after influenza. All of the drugs I was prescribed by him took down my immune system so hard it wasn’t until my 20’s that I corrected the damage that was done. I was hospitalized by him for a misdiagnosis of tuberculosis which turned out to be tonsillitis. My parents promptly switched doctors. Around this time he was leaving his first wife and his children for his nurse! I suppose all of this shame made him into a religious zealot and he left the Long Island area to set up his quack practice upstate. My condolences to other patients he’s harmed. I could go on but why? Stay away from him and his substandard care!

Dr Rochet wanted me to do a glucose tolerance test even though my sugar was 97..He also hums the whole time he's in there with you...

Had my first Appoint with "Dr." Michael Rochet this morning. I am extremely upset with him. First of all he went over lab work with me and out and out accused me of using several illicit drugs. When questioning him on this matter he changed the subject and could not give me an answer as to how he came to this conclusion. As this was supposed to be my yearly physical he did not even address several concerns pertaining to my health and well being. Incompetency in it's worst form on his part.

He is very hard to talk to and whenever you ask him a health concern question or questions that you are very concern about he tells you to Google it. He hums to his self throughout the appointment even if you are asking him a question he just ignore you and continues to hum or sing to his self; going to him makes me feel worst about my health concerns.

Dr. Rochet spends as much time as needed with his patients. I never feel rushed when I'm there whether it's a sick visit or yearly physical. He thoroughly explains things, pulling up my bloodwork in front of me on his laptop - and explains each test value line by line. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Rochet in charge of my care!

Real attitude. Not good bed side manor. Doesn't listen to all patients symptoms, very argumentative trying to discuss. Not a pleasant person at all. Quite belittling.

He is very hard to talk to. If he feels your questions are invalid he does not even answer. He frequently preaches the word of god and in all honesty I am at the doctor because I don't feel good, not because I need to be spiritually enlightened. He is not very personable either. He sings to himself continuously through the appointment and it just makes the visit pretty uncomfortable. I have been with AFH for over 10 years. I love the staff here and it saddens me to have to leave.
