Dr scutella is a wonderful doctor i felt safe in his care when I had surgery he explained every thing

Dr Scutella is a wonderful skilled doctor, I felt safe in his hands when I had my hysterectomy 3 days ago. He did it fully vaginally with no complications and I really feel he had my best interest in mind. Dr Scutella is the best!

I live just over an hour away from the office. I called to change my appt date since my family and i got completely ready and my car wont starts. Its 6 am and my appt is at 8am. I couldnt even leave a message to let them know to call someone else to try and fill my spot since i feel terrible about not being able to get up there in time.but just knowing you cant leave him a message when needed makes me not want this as the doctor who tries to figure out why i cant become pregnant. I need a doctor who can be reach or messaged with stuff. Ive lost 6 babies and have only had 1 live birth. I needed a reliable doctors office. I am sorry if you are and this is just a coincidence. I did give 4 stars since i never met him at his personal office but i have met at womens hosital. The women's hosital couldnt get me in for over a month and it was a referal from my family doctor. Dr. Scutella was extreme in avoiding being helpful while an ongoing problem kept progressing. Despite my repeated requests for treatment and recommendations for other providers who perform more specialized procedures, he provided only one referral to someone who only offered a surgical option, which I expressed that I wanted to avoid by treating early. He blocked my obvious requests to find help and left me alone and in danger of hemorrhage while I researched procedures and providers on my own.

This man is very cynical when relating to me his patient and his medical advice I found from other opinions from doctors to be not accurate.

Not very professional. I did not care for his bedside manner

Dr Scutella was dismissive of my long history and was unprofessional by talking to my husband instead of me during my appt. He left me with no help for pain and wanted to wait and see how things went. I had already been to the ER once for the pain and ended up a second time. The ER Dr was kind enough to ref me to another Dr in the practice who immediately upon meeting me and hearing my history and symptoms scheduled me for laperoscopy.
