My primary doctor referred me to his own personal Dermo.- Dr. Michael Wangia, came highly recommended!! A great experience!! I appreciate that Dr. Wangia takes time to go over all your reports, explains the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. He is very compassionate, and listens to you, he cares for his patients with outstanding quality of medical care. He is brilliant! I highly recommend him! I wish I could give Dr. Wangjia Winter Garden office a zero star. The office manager Tonya and the front office staff is the worse. They are condescending, rude and deceitful. We've recommended 4 different families & all of them complain about the same thing, worse office staff. Great doctor but horrible front office staff. The office has become very Ghetto and it’s not worth the hassle. Romeco Kissoonnauth

I had been to several dermatologist with severe itching. None helped until I visited Dr Wangia. It strong medication and radiation but now I am practically itch free. There is no better Dermitologist.

Dr Wangia is simply fantastic! His bedside manner is second to none. He’s thorough and great at talking about findings and options. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. The assistance communication's with the patient in the Winter Garden unit could be better

I’m new to the area and Dr. Wangia came highly recommended. His office space is newer and very comfortable. The office staff is awesome. They’re very friendly and super helpful. Dr. Wangia himself is thorough and personable. He was especially knowledgeable in regard to dermatological issues that impact people of color, which was a huge bonus for me as I have been afflicted with eczema for over 20 years. I first saw Dr Wangia with Advanced Dermatology in The Villages, and loved him. Like others, I didn’t appreciate the long wait times or less-than-pleasant front office. However, I have followed him to his new practice in Winter Garden and his staff there is pleasant and professional, and wait times are minimal. He has diagnosed me with LPP, which he has gotten under control, and I can’t say enough positive things about him. Outstanding knowledge and terrific personality, and I’m thrilled he’s going to be back in The Villages.

I came in with discoloration around my nose and forehead areas and Dr. Wangia and his staff was able to take care of my skin in a matter of weeks. I went to Dr. Wangia for a urgent consultation. So I was a walk-in and right away they fit me into their schedule and I was seen within 10 minutes. He is very thorough and caring. He explained everything and set a plan for me. I loved that he gave me a course of treatment that would be appropriate for me as a breastfeeding mother. Very pleased with my experience with Dr. Wangia and his staff. Everyone was pleasant and personable. I did not feel rushed during my visit and the doctor took his time to listen to my concerns and address them all. If you are looking for a dermatologist in the area give them a call.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wangia’s for about 3 years. He was phenomenal treating my hormonal acne condition FOREVER and my last in-office procedure was quick and painless too! Looking for a reputable dermatologist in order to help me treat my adult acne problem I did a lot of research in order to find someone who was highly rated and recommended by patients. I came across Dr. Wangia and his team of excellent staff and I went to his office for the first time about a week ago. From walking in and feeling welcomed by the professional receptionists, to talking with the assistants and then the Dr. himself I felt welcomed, heard, and was asked deep relevant questions in order to try to address my issues. Dr. Wangia took a look at my feet, hands, arms, back, chest, and belly and after that inspection he had a solid plan of attack. I switched dermatologists to Dr Wangia after being in Orlando about 2 years. He is not only a great dermatologist, but a great person as well. I have had hard to treat cysts removed and other skin issues that he has addressed perfectly. I have also had melanoma twice and he has taken great care to check my skin for any re-occurrences. I am 77 years old and my wife is 75. Consequently, we have had the opportunity to visit many doctors. We have NEVER met a more caring or more competent physicians in my life. We both recommend him most highly without reservation. I guarantee you will feel the same way.

I brought my son in to Dr Wangia to have two irritating moles removed. The Dr. wanted to send the samples to pathology for analysis even though there was no evidence suggesting anything more than a simple mole. We said, no. He sent it off anyway to an out of network lab and I got a bill for over $500. I would not recommend him.

I just want to say I had a very pleasant visit at Dr Wangias office in Winter Haven FL. The appointment was on time The staff was very friendly and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr Wangia is very professional and Caring. He listens to all of the patients concerns. He gave me a thorough examination and made me leave his office with a great peace of mind I would highly recommend him if you want a great Doctor.

We tracked Dr. Wangia down, our son having been a patient of his years ago at a former practice in Orlando. Wouldn’t trust any other dermatologist with my kids or myself. Great staff, also!

Great caring doctor and staff. Good bedside mannerisms. Expert at surgeries and detecting all types of skin cancers including melanoma. He saved me!

Dr Wangia did a thorough examination of my skin. He biopsied 2 spots which he had some minor concerns about, froze several other spots and removed a small cyst on my face, all in a short period of time. He was pleasant and courteous. I am waiting for the results of the biopsies.

I have been very happy with the medical expertise and caring sensitivity shown to me and my wife. Our experience with Dr. Wangia has been wonderful, and his dedication to our care has been overwhelming! We would give Advanced Dermatology the highest recommendation.

Dr. Wangia himself is great. He just changed practices to Advanced Dermatology in The Villages and it is obvious that he's a teacher, due to his very clear and concise explanations. I would see him again in a heartbeat. His office, however, is horrible. LONG wait times (even early morning visits where it shouldn't be that backed up already), very pushy staff.

Dr. Wangia is thorough and skilled. He explains everything to me and answers my questions because he listens! I like the fact that he really cares about his patients. I am confident that he won't "miss" something.

After reading all the good reviews I decided to take my son to this office. I must say I was very disappointed. He did not spend much time with my son and I. This office is not child friendly as we were waiting for almost 45 minutes in the waiting room. When my son became fussy I decided to take him and walk with him and one of the staff members came up to me and asked if I cannot let him walk in the hallway. I would not visit here again.

Both the doctor and his staff are very professional and personable. I have already recommended him to family and friends. I see him at the Conroy-Windermere location.
