Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also referred to as rehabilitation medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with physical disabilities. I have been a patient of Dr Woods for a few years. He has treated my neck, lumbar region, elbow and sciatica. His approach is respecting my wish for least invasive treatment, and has done so successfully every time! Dr Woods is so nice. The East longmeadow office staff and physical therapy are all very nice and know their stuff! I have recommended Dr Woods to my own family! I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Woods was compassionate, knowledgeable, explained every step of my epidural injections as he performed them and gave great follow up advice. Bedside manner was excellent! His assistant performed extremely well and made my visit enjoyable considering it's not a very enjoyable procedure. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. My wife was allowed into the procedure room and they interacted with her extremely nicely, she thought the experience was great! And most importantIy; I experienced my 1st pain free nights sleep in about 2 months; thank you Dr. Woods and staff!

Was sent for an MRI on Dec 27. I have called the office twice so far. Dr Woods never called me back or followed up with me. It is now jan 8th. I have excruciating nerve pain but would never put my care in his hands at this point.

Just your typical money hungry doctor....he was very nice but after seeing him multiple times with no results wouldn't even write a doctor's note without an office visit never heard from him again a complete fake....he's very good at it don't waste your time
