“Read to the end “I’m not someone who writes reviews for people or places unless the experience is absolutely horrible and I have to let ppl know what happened so that hopefully it will save someone else from a horrifically painful and heartless experience.“Keep reading” Those horrible trips to the dentist are over for me bc I have found dentist that got me out of pain but called and got me an appointment immediately with the best oral surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of visiting those words mean a lot bc never had any dentist visit that’s been enjoyable. Dr Micheal Wright was able to slide me in without an appointment and I wasn’t in the office waiting for more than 20 min and within an hour of arrival I was finished and leaving. Everyone was very compassionate and helpful with wonderful attitudes. The experience was the best and only one that they made sure I was completely out of pain and relaxed when extracting the tooth he was gentle and took his time which made the world it a difference in it’s the soreness and recovery. I’m on day 2 after the extraction and and nothing more that ibuprofen and antibiotics are needed. I don’t compliment the ppl I’ve experienced in the dentistry field bc 9/10 times I’ve had a bad experience. But not this time and not with dr Wright and his staff thank you all and so much for your help and wonderful work. God bless you all ????

This is my second time using Dr. Wright. First time was an extraction of a fractured tooth several years ago. Now for an extraction of a primary tooth I have had up til now at 48 years of age. I have extreme dental anxiety and he and his staff are very empathetic. I will be going back in March for another implant with him. He is a very confident Dr. and straight forward in his conversation. His staff with very helpful with my insurance concerns/coverage. I would highly recommend his practice especially if you have any to high dental anxiety.

My experience with Dr. Wright and staff could not have been more pleasant. Had a wisdom tooth extracted in a matter of minutes, no pain or discomfort. While Dr. Wright was indeed the main player, I was enamored by his assistant Sheena. A true delight to be in her presence. Very polite and an excellent listener as I rambled on. Both receptions were very courteous as well. There is no doubt I would recommend Dr Wright to anyone. Thank you doc and staff, God bless, Mike

5 stars 10/10 best place to get your wisdom teeth removed! I was pretty nervous the day of surgery and Dr. Wright and his staff made sure I was comfortable the entire process. I am so happy my dentist recommended Dr. Wright because a lot of doctors I have seen in the past do not have the patience that he has. A few days after surgery I had some pain and the receptionist got me in very quickly and Dr. Wright fixed my issue almost immediately. They went the extra mile for me and I am extremely grateful. Im the biggest baby when it comes to oral care! Dr Wright and his staff are so friendly, calming and caring! This is the only place I will go for any kind of oral surgery!

I was never told that a consultation would be $225 until check out. We aren’t even doing a surgery or extraction. For that much you would think the person scheduling the appointment would inform the person before making that appointment.

My daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth extracted today. My daughter was really nervous about having the procedure done. I had originally requested the iv sedation, but after my daughter talked with Dr Wright and explained first reasoning for having them extracted in detailed and recommended gas over iv, but explained the pros and cons of both. My daughter decided to have the gas instead and have done well with very little pain. The staff was very nice and patient and Dr Wright was awesome. Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Dr. Wright was referred to me by my dentist to have a abscess tooth removed. My appt. was for 2:45 pm I arrived 5 minutes before my appt. to fill out all necessary paperwork and was never taken in until an hour later. When I was finally called back the girl had her back to me with the door open as if I was an inconvenience. As I walked through the door she then proceeded to walk down the hall and left me standing there. I started to follow her and the girl who does the x-rays looked at me as if I was suppose to know she was going to do an x-ray. No friendly greeting, no apology for running an hour behind and no communication as to where I was suppose to go. Then it happened again with Dr. Wright as I was sitting in a room with the door open waiting for him for about 15 minutes he did the same. He made no eye contact, his back to me and just put up his finger as if to say just a minute. He never examined my mouth just told me I needed to have the tooth removed to remove the infection which I already knew. That is why my dentist referred me to him and then I was told it would be over a month before he could do the abstraction. I felt the office had no professionalism, no hospitality, and no compassion. Dr. Wright and his surgical staff were amazing. He talked me through everything and I didn't feel any pain. Couldn't even feel the tooth come out. The ladies were all super nice. The office was clean and professional looking. However, his office manager needs to learn some manners/communication skills and not be so rude to people. I have no issues waiting my turn, especially when I am a last minute appointment. But I wasn't made aware of this right away. When my appointment was scheduled it sounded like they just simply had an opening. But when I got there, the office manager was rude and refused to check me in. She said they were going on lunch. So I said oh ok, I have a 130pm appointment. And she said "right." And walked away. So I sat down and waited, and 2 other people came about 5 min after me and checked in before she would talk to me and she was just overall snotty to me. I had to ask another staff what was going on, as normally when you show up for an appointment, you're called in the order you arrive, and she then explained it would be a few minutes since they had to fit me in last minute as a favor to Dr. Amy Lee. I told her the office manager could have just told me that instead of being rude and acting like I had no business being there. Dear office manager, communication goes a long way. You could have checked me in and simply explained it would be a few minutes since I had to be fit into the schedule, and explained a couple people would be ahead of me. I had a wisdom tooth removed today. The procedure could not have gone any better. Dr. Wright was outstanding as was his assistant. The whole process once he started was less than 10 minutes, with the entire office visit less than an hour. I gave Dr. Wright the highest compliment I could give him. “Doc, I didn’t even feel the tooth come out”. That was about the least painful dentist visit I’ve had. Can’t overstate how great Dr. Wright and his team are. I am a very reluctant dental patient, but Dr. Wright made hate dentists a bit less today. I had a wisdom tooth removed today. If I could I’d give him a zero. After explaining my medical conditions and him being seemingly understanding, that all changed when I dared to make a noise that was distressing to him. He then berated my oral hygiene and told me I’d need IV sedation which would be $600. I find it disconcerting that he was able to pull that figure out of his head. Most doctors and dentists don’t know that information. It’s something that their insurance claims department would know. Thank God he’s not an OBGYN or he wouldn’t make it. People make noises at the dentist. He was unnecessarily cruel and demeaning and told me I was disturbing the other patients. The one ray of light was his compassionate assistant who tried to reassure me. I got out of the chair and walked out. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy! If I could I’d give him a zero. Dr. Wright and his staff are top notch! My daughter needed 2 baby teeth removed. He discovered one tooth had twisted roots but had no problems removing it. A regular dentist would have had difficulty. I highly recommend Dr. Wright for all your oral surgery needs.

Dr Wright is someone that you can feel confident in. He has helped our young daughter (who is terrified of the doctor's office) with a very gentle manner (talking her through two different and very anxious visits) and it went perfect each time. Our entire family has had multiple interactions that were met with absolute professionalism. If you need him, his office is there for you and I really have always appreciated the follow up phone calls that you don't get from most doctor offices. I was extremely nervous when I went in for an emergency extraction of a fractured back molar. (Prior experiences in dental offices have left me with huge anxiety about any dental procedure) His staff was very friendly and made me feel completely relaxed. Dr. Wright’s confidence made me feel at ease. From the time he began the extraction, I never felt a thing. It took less than five minutes from start of extraction to stitched up. Based on my experience with Dr. Wright, his office is the best place in Macon,GA (some may argue the best in Atlanta) for oral surgical procedures. Not only is his manual dexterity markedly exceptional, he takes the time to discuss with you what options may/may not be available for your specific condition and explains the pros/cons for each option using simple, easy to understand language. Going for a 2nd dental implant soon and looking fwd to it. Highly recommended Dr. Wright w/o equivocations.

WAIT TIME WAS 90 MINUTES! He rushed into my exam room, impressing me as if he had LITTLE time to listen to my concerns or adequately address my personal health challenges; he said he had to get going because he had another patient waiting! Definitely would not recommend.
