Everyone at the office was extremly nice and helpful. Dr. Yoon listened to what i had to say and had a gentleness about him. I'm very pleased with the care I received from Dr.Yoon.
I was operated on Oct 13th. I am free from pain. Thanks Dr. Yoon. Don't know what you did, I wasn't cut. I am better. I still exercise. God Bless you.
Dr. Yoon spent a lot of time with me. Che explained my condition in detail and discussed options. He answered my questions thoroughly .

Listens with patience. Caring and not aggressive about jumping in to do surgery which I appreciate! He offers alternatives prior to surgery.

I appreciate the comments about Dr. Yoon. He has a wonderful tone when communicating and explains the process well.. Surgery will most like be relatively soon and I trust that Dr. Yoon will perform as expected. He has a fine reputation and I’m glad that my primary physician recommended him.
Microdiscectomy lumbar- immediately relieved my horrible sciatic nerve pain. Dr. Yoon and staff were efficient and caring. Surgery was scheduled quickly at Lansdale Hospital. Recovery was uneventful, and I was off all over the counter pain meds within 2 weeks- never needed narcotics. Highly recommend.
I was given PT located in Reading. Too far especially since I don’t drive

Dr Yoon is the best surgeon, I put my trust and life in his hands. Having any surgery is scary Dr Yoon puts you right at ease, he knows what he’s doing and he knows what you’re feeling, now only does his knowledge calm you down but so does his calming voice.

Dr Yoon was delightful. Explained everything clearly.
Dr. Yoon is awesome and highly recommended. He’s extremely professional and doesn’t play around. He gets right to the point and identifies your concerns as quickly as possible. His staff is extremely courteous and professional. I went to several doctors prior to seeing Dr. Yoon. His diagnosis was right on! After almost 3 months of doing the “what’s wrong with me” dance he looked at my X-ray and scheduled me for surgery. I’m now 3 weeks after and at 75%. I had perineal knee damage with bone fragments sitting on top of my nerve along with drop foot. It’s amazing how Dr. Yoon didn’t hesitate in getting me the right procedure! Thank You So Much! Very kind and professional. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a neurosurgeon to seek his services.
I really do highly recommend Dr. Yoon. He was not only very polite but very knowledgeable about my condition and assured me that we would do everything necessary to help me.
Dr Yoon was so kind. My 83 year old mother was with me and she had been experiencing pain and Dr Yoon gave her suggestions on how to deal with the pain
Dr Yoon was great he spent a lot of time with me and my wife to go over the surgery that I need. He was the only one that went over all my CD xrays etc.the other surgeon didn't give us the time of day.
The location is very easy to find if you know where Abington Hospital/Jefferson Health is. The front desk staff was stellar!! Kind, courteous, professional and warm. Bruce, the physician assistant was off the charts awesome Godsend!! He was informative, knowledgeable just challenging enough and best of all inspiring. Dr. Yoon seems to be authentic and caring and vlearly wanting the absolute very best for me, his patient! The location is very easy to find if you know where Abington Hospital/Jefferson Health is. Dr. Yoon is such a kind and caring doctor. He explains everything to you, answers your questions, and really seems to care about his patients. I really liked his PA, Sean, too! Would highly recommend to anyone needing a neurosurgeon.
Dr. Yoon took his time and listened to my symptoms.
I was extremely pleased with Dr. Yoon and his staff the first time I visited there. It began with his P.A., Bruce, who was very knowledgeable about neurosurgery and answered my questions. When I met Dr. Yoon, he took time with me and answered more of my questions. I am due to have cervical spinal surgery very soon and would not trust anyone else but Dr. Yoon to do it for me. He has a very sensitive, caring side to him; I broke down in tears upon my diagnosis and he was more than comforting to me. I honestly believe in him and highly recommend him.
It was a pleasure to meet everyone in his office.Dr Yoon was so calm, he answered all my questions. I was very happy
I saw Dr. Yoon for a spinal simulator A Major operation and the Doctor was awesome did not interact much with the staff

Dr. Yoon is a very nice doctor. Welcomes questions and explains everything so you understand. I was in and out in an hour.
Dr. Yoon has operated on me twice with great success, minimal post surgery pain & quick recovery. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering the pain of Spinal Stenosis..
Dr. Yoon is the best choice I could of ever picked, I did a lot of researching of Doctors, And found he was the one doctor to give me some options, Other Doctors told me I needed fusions, Yoon told me he could do better than that. He took time to explain the difference between fusion and disc replacement, He made me feel like I was one of his family members, If you are thinking about surgery this is the doctor that will give his all for you. Thank you Dr Yoon for changing my life back to normal. Dr Yoon as been great for me. I had surgery 13 years ago for issues at the L4/L5 and L5/S1. Dr Yoon took my feelings and goals into consideration and the surgery left me in great shape without any issue. Now, 13 years later I have an issue at a different location (L3/L4) and am seeing Dr Yoon again. This time, I've had interactions with both him and Bruce in his office and both of them have been great and interested contributors to my recovery. Thank you both! Dr Yoon as been great for me. He was very knowledgeable and seemed very caring. I had 2 previous neck surgeries and was concerned I would be too risky but he is doing my surgery. He was realistic about likely outcomes. Good listener. Would recommend.
Your resident or associate saw me in Abingdon Seeing the pain I had, a kyroplasty (cement injection) was never mentioned by either him or you. I had to be my own advocate to find out about the. relief from this procedure. I suffered terribly for days until I could be scheduled for it. You told me to wait 4 to 6 weeks to see you and you were gone. Lucky for me I had a wonderful orthopedic surgeon who made arrangements for me. Disappointed with your service doesn't even cover it
He was very patient with me . Listen with out interrupting me . He wanted to know more about my injury so he send me out to get different type of MTI so he can view the issue. Ones he received the image he called me . You dont get to many like him .
Don’t have anything against him like a doctor but the whole system stinks. Made an appointment only to find out he doesn’t deal with what I have? Seriously? Nobody from the nurses could tell me when I made the appointment? Waisted 1 month to see him and find out from him in person that I have to go back to my old doctor? Good job Jefferson ! That’s how you make money through the insurance companies! Who cares about us, patients? Shame on the whole medical system!!!
Great doctor
can't say it enough About dr. Yoon very professional a great bedside manner and a wonderful surgeon I literally can say he has given me my life back show me some terrible shape for a year-and-a-half from severe numbness on my left side and down both my legs that I could barely even walk I can't say enough and how much I appreciate it it's been 6 weeks since my surgery and I am feeling great still recovering but the numbness and tingling us it's completely gone. 100% satisfied thank you again

Easy to speak with... easy to understand..
As a new patient I didn’t know what to expect Dr Yoon and entire staff were wonderful, answered all questions and explained reasons for further tests. Definitely recommend Dr Yoon
This is my second surgery with dr yoon. Once again he is the perfect surgeon, skilled, kind, not embarrassed by my emotional response after my surgery. His PA Keith was wonderful and really made a difference in my experience of my recovery. I would recommend him, and have, to anyone seeking a top notch neurosurgeon and a very helpful office staff as well.
Dr. Yoon is my hero. He and his staff saved my life. I am so greatfull. I owe him a debt I can never repay and remember him in my prayers.

Very. Very RUDE office staff. Cut me off while I was speaking. Very unprofessional. I don't want to see this Dr at all however it's a follow up from being in a trauma in the ER. I wouldn't use this office if it were the last doctor on earth I would just die. I can't stand when people are rude to you and their running a business to help people who are sick or in need of medical help. That's the one moment that a person needs compassion. Very. Having suffered for around 7 years with increasing discomfort and loss of function in my left leg and foot, my family physician thought it might be a good idea to have another MRI and get another opinion as to the cause. I had previously been to 2 neurosurgeons and one orthopedic surgeon with no answer. Dr. Yoon after examining and interviewing me took a second look at the MRIs recent and previous and evidently located the problem. I am 6+ weeks out and am regaining leg function and with no pain
Referred to him by g.p. and scheduled surgery. Day before surgery, I received letter from insurance co. denying surgery. I called his office. Billing person Terri apologized for putting in wrong code. I was forced to cancel surgery until I received written approval. Received x-ray report following week stating that I had more problems than what surgery would address. Called to re-schedule surgery but left msg that I needed to talk to doc before scheduling. Flo scheduled without my approval or talking to me. I called her and told her that I needed to speak to doc before scheduling. She said he was on vacation until surgery day. She tried to strong-arm me into keeping appt. that she had made. I was forced to cancel again. (I've never canceled a surgery in my life prior to visiting Dr. Yoon.) Finally, I spoke to doc after his vacation. He agreed that he needed to do add'l level for surgery. (would he have done only one if I hadn't brought report to his attention?) Scheduled surgery. Can't take meds for 10 days prior to surgery so in more pain leading up to it. They scheduled nurse to do pre-surgical listen to lungs, etc.a few days before surgery (within 10 days prior to surgery b/c previous pre-screen was out of date now). Said it would be quick and I didn't need to see doc or pay co-pay. (I could've gone to my g.p. for this and been seen in timely fashion.) I waited 35 mins. I told office staff that I felt awful and asked politely when I would be seen by nurse. I had been waiting in room 10mins. or so already and was freezing. They lowered the air conditioning and told me nurse would be right in. I waited another 10mins or so and was feeling worse. The cold air probably made my back feel worse. I told them that I had to leave b/c I wasn't feeling well. I was visibly upset. I figured I could reschedule or see my g.p. prior to surgery for such quick check. I received message from Flo and called her back. She immed. put me through to Dr. Yoon. He accused me of being anxious about surgery and suggested that I get a 2nd opinion as the surgery was "complex". Dr. Yoon canceled my surgery. I didn't. (I got the impression that he thinks I'm some sort of difficult patient...I'm guessing his office staff didn't tell him the whole truth about what had happened and the mistakes they had made. Either that or he isn't confident he can do my surgery.) I asked for referral, and he gave me one. The office he gave me doesn't take referrals with any history of car accidents. I called and asked if I could schedule with his partner Dr. Laske. (due to insurance, I need to see Abington doc b/c capitated.) They called me back and told me he wouldn't see me and to see an ortho doc. They told me to call my insurance co. for referrals. I guess Dr. Yoon wasn't comfortable with his skills as a neurosurgeon and thinks an orthopedic surgeon is better equipped and skilled. What does that say about Dr. Yoon's skills or his office? I feel like Elaine from Seinfeld. Hopefully, I find a better doc who believes in Hippocratic oath. It's time for me to move away from Abington docs as well. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this was my warning not to have surgery by Dr. Yoon or Dr. Laske. Referred to him by g.p. and scheduled surgery. Day before surgery, I received letter from insurance co. denying surgery. I am a physican assistant in Dr. Yoon's practice. Dr. Yoon did speak directly with Ms. Fernandez and apologized for any misunderstanding. She is currently under the care of another surgeon.
It was a while ago that I went to see him. I asked a question or two and felt like I was bothering him. Like he had someplace else to be. I never went back. I found another surgeon and had a serious operation to fix my back pain. The new surgeon was very friendly and answered all of my questions. He never made me feel stupid.
