Would you recommend Dr. Benoit to your family and friends? NEVER. Dr. Benoit's bedside manner has the greatest potential for improvement as this is her biggest blind spot. This characteristic is complimented by her explicit indifference. She could begin to improve by being extra cautious when communicating with patients who are suffering and are facing a cancer death sentence. Dr. Benoit could begin to improve by not being dismissive of a patients feelings. While a debulking surgery for ovarian cancer might be routine for Dr. Benoit, it's horrific and a very traumatic moment in a patient’s life. Therefore, Dr. Benoit needs to make herself available to her patients, this means being emotionally present with them.

She was Kaiser choice to treat my cervical cancer. She did NOT tell me that my particular case was not generally treated with a hysterectomy. She gave me choices which is not customary way to treat my stage. She also waited more than 6 weeks for a follow up appointment after my surgery. Did I mention I was left disfigured and would require plastic surgery to fix the large pouch she created on my stomach. Then lied at 6 week appointment and told me it would go away in a week or two. I recommend a second opinion before letting her do anything.

This woman was the Dr. for my mom and she was completely cold. She was quickly irritated when asking her questions regarding my Mom's diagnosis and wasn't very forthcoming with information. She made you feel silly and dumb for even thinking such things, as if one should know something that was so obviously trivial to her. I felt like she was unprepared to speak to us and didn't take time to truly review anything. I could be wrong but it's how she came off. The only time she showed a bit of enthusiasm is when she spoke about her daughters going to the Bug Museum which is close to where we live. My Mom has always been healthy so this news was very shocking for us all. We needed comfort not coldness; and even if she didn't care because it wasn't directly affecting her or someone she loved, she could have at least pretended. When my mom completed all her treatment she didn't even come in to greet or congratulate her. Instead she sent her assistant while she talked with her staff in the front.My mom still has a threat of cancer because they weren't ever able to pinpoint where it started and she's showing some signs of cancer in her kidneys; but by the grace of God, in the name of Jesus, she will be healed completely. Terrible. She doesn’t like answering questions and makes you feel silly for asking them. She comes off irritable and impatient. Shows no concern or compassion for one’s life threatening news. When you’re finished with treatment, she doesn’t even come in the room to greet or congratulate you, instead she sends her assistant, while she chats with her staff in the front, and she also didn’t recommend follow ups. The news we found out was awful and to walk through part of it with her was even worse.

Dr Benoit provided outstanding care during my medical intervention with her. She was thorough in helping me understand my options and situation, but in addition referred me for other care which I didn’t know I needed. She is warm, compassionate and caring as well as exceedingly competent. She is a true asset to the medical profession. Thank you Dr Benoit!

Dr. Benoit gave me compassionate care in a challenging situation. She listens, she teaches, she cares about family concerns. I expected and received competent, knowledgeable care. Her genuine concern and individualized approach were above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend her and her team.

She told me i have 2 weeks left. She also told me that sugar doesn't play a part in how cancer behaves. Nor does diet. Sugar, nor diet play a part in cancer, in its growth, nor recession, according to Dr. Benoit. She had nothing to offer me about diet, she only wanted to throw me into radiation and chemo for 6 weeks. She's the worst doctor I have seen in my life and she needs to go back to schooling! Some cancer specialist! I've been in constant tears since I seen her, she's so heartless its sad
