She was rude and short with me and had no social skills. I am a nurse and felt I was just a number to her. Not the way a patient should be treated. I will never go back. Her NP however was amazing.

Dr. Roda is professional and extremely knowledgable. Her and her team are so welcoming, helpful, compassionate, and amazing. She really listens to me and wants to know how I am handling my mirgraines. I absolutely love having her as my Neurologist. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Roda and her team!
Nahh she’s just plain rude and rough! Not into treating the WHOLE patient. However, The office staff and nurse practitioners are EXEMPLARY! Oh and do you think they can FINALLY address the concerns of fluorescent lighting in the WAITING ROOM!! You treat MIGRAINEURS!

Awful doctor. I could elaborate but I will not. Ever since doctor Reed left the American Migraine Center my care has gone downhill. I've been a patient for over 15 years. Very very sad. Dr Roda sits on a high horse but who is feeding it?
I have seen Dr. Roda for migraines for more than a year. I had appointments with her about every 3-4 weeks, and each appointment she would ask about the frequency of my migraines and order a new/different medication. I expressed early on that I wanted help identifying migraine triggers, so I could solve the underlying problem and so I didn't have just mask it with medication forever. Each time I would pose that at an appointment, she would dismiss me with a couple questions and a new med idea. One day, she recommended I wean myself off my current daily preventative medication and try samples of a new medication. The new medication were expected to have more side effects, and (within my right as a patient) I decided not to try the samples. When I told her this at my next appointment and stressed I wanted to look more into triggers instead of switching meds each month, Dr. Roda got upset with me. She made it clear she thought my concerns over the new drug's side effects were stupid and snapped at me, rolling her eyes, saying, "Well what are we even doing here, Grace, honestly?" I've never felt more disrespected, uncomfortable and helpless seeing a physician -- whose goal should be to listen to and care for the patient they commit to heal. I have been going to this clinic for over 15 yrs. I found that only 1 of their treatments worked. But because I “Possess” a medical marijuana card, even if I test negative, I can no longer be treated. They called me on the phone inquiring about it yet never told me until I drove an hour and pd the co-pay, that they no longer would treat me. Have been going here for a while but thinking of finding somewhere else to go. Loved Dr.Reed, and Karen is the best. But that receptionist Mary Pat, should be fired. She is rude and has the worst customer service skills which makes me not even want to be bothered

Dr. Roda has always been very kind and helpful. She is great at what she does, she is very personable and caring, and she spends ample time with patients. The migraine Botox has completely changed my life for the better. I highly recommend her to anyone.
I have been a patient in this practice for many years, having seen Dr. Reed and previously Dr. Kriegler, they are both excellent Neurologists. I was reluctant to stay after Dr. Reed left, but I have found that Dr. Roda is very understanding and compassionate. She understands that I have chronic migraines and does her best to manage them. She spends time and will research treatments other than the usual protocol to help. I have referred other patients to her and she takes time with them and does go above and beyond expectations in that she researches based on patient needs. Needs to work on her bedside manner, because she is just rude. Not sure what type of day she was having, but I was there to get better, not feel worse emotionally.
Michelle Roda is one of those rare doctors who actually spend time with their patients and LISTENS - she does not rush you, she will do research into any changes in your symptoms.
very kind - found problem that no other Dr. checked for
Dr. Roda is rude and dismissive. I have had great success managing my migraines with Botox with another doctor. That doctor left the practice, so I was scheduled with Roda. The procedure, reportedly an updated protocol, was invasive and traumatic. Roda displayed no compassion for me while she was inflicting this trauma. She then simply left the exam room when she was finished. A few weeks later, I went t see her for a follow up. Her first comment to me was “I’m surprised you came back.” Now I regret that I did. She continued to be rude and dismissive, essentially calling me crazy for wanting a different procedure. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy into her care. Dr. Roda is rude and dismissive. Do not, I repeat, do not waste your time or money at the American Migraine Center. It is just a Botox mill. Unfortunately, I was a patient for years and never was treated simply as a person, let alone as a person with a debilitating disease in need of medical care. Neither the doctor nor the staff bother to communicate with you unless it's to facilitate your Botox appointments. The receptionist employed there for years was rude and insulting, then replaced by another one just as bad. I finally gave up after too many instances of neglect and blatant mistreatment. I found there are much more professional, competent, and caring headache specialists in the same area. I wish I hadn't remained a patient there, out of desperation, for so long. We have enough problems coping with life as chronic migraineurs to pay greedy physicians to use and neglect us. Do not, I repeat, do not waste your time or money at the American Migraine Center. Amazing staff. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without Karen, Tracey, or Dr. Roda. I suffer from chronic migraines and have been working with their team for a little over a year now. I'm still working through the migraines, but any time I find myself unable to fight off a migraine, the women are right there to help ease the pain quickly. Amazing staff. Wouldn't listen to my concerns
I was referred to Dr. Roda by my pharmacist. At no time did she ever suggest or request any further tests to eliminate underlying conditions. I was asked about my migraines, and given meds, then more meds, then different meds. But never asked about triggers - told to stop eating dairy, eggs, gluten, sugar, caffeine (many believe caffeine actually helps migraines), and corn. This is after I told her my triggers were barometric pressure.
Dr. Roda's bed side manner is hit or miss. Sometimes when seeing her she's thorough and friendly, other times she's short and down right rude. The staff at the Migraine Center are friendly and kind on a consistent basis.
I love Dr. Roda. She listens to her patients and truly cares.
I began using the American Migraine Center when it was staffed by Dr. Reed. Under her care, I began a Botox protocol. I was a little apprehensive when she left the center, but I find Dr. Roda to be just as compassionate and knowledgeable. The CPN is fabulous and the office is always responsive.
I wish I knew where Dr. Reed went. I like Karen Steffy at the center. They have one of the worst receptionists I have ever had to deal with. Mean and inaccurate in entering or repeating appointment information in the past. On one occasion I also called to find out if they could treat hemiplegic headaches for a relative, and couldn't believe how rude she was. I wish I knew where Dr. Reed went. Good. First visit. Wonderful customer service. The receptionist has the patience of a saint.
They changed my life. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Reed and her staff. They are helpful and have become an extension of my family. I've been going to Dr. Reed for nearly 10 years and would recommend American Migraine Center to anyone who suffers with migraines.
This place is the absolute best!!!! I am migraine free. The staff is ALWAYS polite and helpful!!! I Never have to wait long to get in, and Dr. Reed is awesome!!! :-)
I've been seeing Dr. Reed and staff for 6 months and I'm very pleased. They are most concerned about patient well being and have a multitude of treatments to solve migraines and relieve pain.
