I brought my wife into the ER with symptoms of a minor stroke and a severe migraine. She is chronically ill and is in a wheelchair. She also has chronic migraines which cause light and sound sensitivity so she wears wrap around sunglasses and headphones. Dr. Tom came into the room already clearly annoyed with the situation. She proceeds to rip off my wife's sunglasses and starts poking her in the eyes and stretching them open while my wife is begging her to stop because it hurts. Instead of STOPPING like any normal person would she then holds my wife’s arms down and continues poking at her eyes. As my wife is crying and writhing in pain she then starts to lift up her legs and letting them drop and begins punching her legs as if she’s lying about not being able to use her legs?! This was ASSAULT. THIS WOMAN SHOULD NOT HAVE A MEDICAL LICENSE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. My wife and I decided to leave the ER with no treatment because of this abhorrent behavior. Do not let this woman near you.

My husband was in excruciating abdominal side pain. After a visit to Urgent Care during the day, a detailed conversation with an advice nurse in the evening, we were advised to go to the ER. Dr. Tom was the the ER doctor that evening. She asked if he ate anything different. New meds was the only thing different. We wanted one question answered at the end of this 7 hour ER stay: Could the new medications he is on causing the pain he is in? She looked at me and in an authoritative tone said, "I am the ER doctor! My job is to figure out what is wrong with him and that he doesn't need emergency surgery. Let me do my job." I'm telling her he has not done anything different with diet and the only thing different was new medication. From my understanding part of the physicians job is answering patient's questions. Even at discharge, she never came in to talk to us about what was found or discuss the possibility of new meds being the cause of his "diagnosis".

After listening to my problems & running tests she gave me advice for temporary relief. She explained everything in in terms I understood. I asked many questions & she answered them never felt rushed. I am following her directions by seeing a specialist. Thank you Dr.Tom
