I was not able to find a parking in their clinic for over 20 min. when i arrived at their clinc the receptionist it took me over 25 min trying to explain to them that i can use my HRA account for the 200$ payment and i had to call my insurance in the end they told me that i had to reschedule the appointment because i was late and the next appointment in 1 month although i have ear pain that needs immediate attention.

Well I have been trying to make an appointment for a month from a referral and no one ever answers the phone calls you back!!!!!

Dr. Schwaber heard my concerns and understood everything I was saying. I have extreme hearing loss and I needed another implant and he was really quick to get me in. I'm eternally grateful for him. Your front office lady who answers the phone needs a crash course in civility. I was hung up on after being interrupted by her twice when I was trying to answer her question in regards to a referral my dr sent.

I've been seeing Dr. Swabber since 2020. First off he said I had meineres but I can hear perfectly fine so we did the treatments for me and none of them worked and then he said oh now I have VM which one is it? I was out through multiple Injections which apparently I didn't need at all! And his customer service is absolutely the worst! My wife was trying to ask him questions and he completely ignored her! I hope I will never have to go back to him again but knowing my luck I will have too, oh and yes he pretty much takes the money and runs. I've been seeing Dr. Swabber since 2020. I drove over an hour for my visit with Dr. Schwaber and realized when I got there that my referring doctor had not sent over my information. Unfortunately I did not have my insurance card and was in the waiting room trying to get my insurance information over the phone. I was waiting on the insurance company when the receptionist informed me that I would not be able to see the doctor. The receptionist was extremely rude, and I left quite upset. I later got a bill for no show, even though I had indeed shown up. I discussed this with billing and they said that they would talk to the doctor. Over a YEAR later, a $75 bill showed up on my credit, even though I had heard nothing about this bill since my first phone call. I called his office again, and again explained my story. I was told I would be called back and never was. I called 3 weeks later and was told that the Doctor said he was enforcing the bill despite the fact that I had shown up and that it was 2 years ago.

Dr. Schwaber's staff was incredibly rude, and would not return phone calls. I was charged for a no show appointment even though I not only showed up, but drove over an hour to get there. I had left my insurance card, and in the time it took me to call and get the information, they said I no longer had time to see the doctor. After later receiving a $75 bill, I called his office and never heard anything back, assuming it had been taken care of...until they sent my bill to collections almost 2 YEARS later!!! I called again, no return call. Very unprofessional, especially since I drove 2hrs round trip for him to not see me and then charge me $75.

This is Judy Wahlstrom 07/01/1949 and I have an appointment for 8:00 a.m. on 01/07/2022 to have some tests done for Dr. Schwaber and I need to cancel the appointment for in the morning and reschedule for a later date. Your office is closed today 01/06/2022 I am sure due to the snow and cold weather. My elderly mother saw Dr. Schwaber this afternoon.  While answering Dr. Schwaber's questions, her mask slipped and she was trying to put it back when Dr. Schwaber told her that if she didn't put her mask back that he was leaving and wouldn't treat her.  Subsequently, he removed his mask four times over the course of this appointment. Dr. Schwaber's response to my mother was disrespectful and excessive given the circumstances.  We were both confused and then angered by his initial response and subsequent display of double standard. While we completed the appointment, we'll be asking for future referrals to another group. Dr. Schwaber took my money and my hearing. I have otosclerosis which caused my hearing to depreciate over the years. A stapedectomy is a surgery that has over a 95% success rate. Dr. Schwaber still failed my surgery and I am left with worse hearing than what I started with and a lot less money. Dr. Schwaber took my money and made my situation worse. Also, they failed to prescribe me pain medication, and failed to prescribe the correct antibiotics. I went a full weekend without antibiotics or pain medication after my surgery because of his and his office's incompetence. I never received pain medication post surgery at all. After failing the surgery, Dr. Schwaber put me on several rounds of steroids which did nothing. I saw several other specialists after the botched surgery but was basically told I can risk doing another surgery or just chalk it up as a loss. Dr. Schwaber also continues to send me bills even though he failed to do his job. Worst surgeon and worse customer service. He is incompetent and doesn't care about his patients. I had bad vertigo for years. Hearing lose aswell. Dr Schwaber fixed my vertigo and 7 months later my hearing came back. I am well and returned to normal life again. Thank you Dr Schwaber

I had one unsuccessful surgery (Tympanoplasty) with many complications with an ENT surgeon prior to coming to Dr. Swabber and have had many treatments over the years. I was cautiously optimistic when I was going into my second surgery. Afterwards, I was so relieved to hear that my surgery went “perfect” with no complications and my graft was solid. Now, for the first time in 6 years I’ll be able to swim and snorkel again. I’m so thankful for Dr. Swabber and his expertise. It saved my hearing. I had a surgery preformed by Dr. Mitchell Schwaber. It was unsuccessful. My hearing actually became worse than prior to having my surgery. Due to family emergencies I was unable to make my second follow up appointment. When I tried to reschedule I was told I had an outstanding balance that was due before they could see me again. My deductible was met after surgery and no one in the office could tell me what these charges were. I was given another number to contact and simply told that if I pay a “large” portion of my balance that they would see me then.. Nevertheless I do not recommend this facility at all. I saw Dr. Schwaber after 3 unsuccessful ER visits. I had body aches, ear and jaw pain, vertigo, dizziness, and extreme fatigue that kept worsening over time. I couldn't work for a week. The ER kept sending me home without diagnosis. I got into a last minute appointment here and it was such a relief. Dr. Schwaber was kind, very thorough in his diagnosis, open to all of my questions, and was able to prescribe a treatment for me that same visit. He was very knowledgable and patient. I was unable to work and had multiple ER visits for intense ear pressure, pain in my ears and jaw, spells of shaking, hot sweats, vertigo, and lightheadedness that kept worsening overtime. Even though I hinted that the problem may be with my inner ear, the ER was unable to do anything for me so they just kept sending me home. Dr. Schwaber's team was able to see me soon after thanks to my mom calling the front desk and pleading for a last-minute appointment. I have to say that Dr. Schwaber changed everything for me. He finally gave me a diagnosis, was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. He prescribed me a treatment and I started to feel slowly better. I am so grateful for Dr. Schwaber and his team. Thank you again!!

Dr schwaber is excellent!! I had vertigo and was not able to function. He sent me to physical therapy that cured the problem. The issue is his office They are telling me the Dr. Notes scheduled an additional visit. No one made me aware of the appointment at the time of payment on exiting and I was billed a no show. All other physicians I use let me know about return appointments. Most even give a reminder. He is a member of the ST Thomas group so I am not suprised. Dr schwaber is excellent!! He is the only Dr that figured out why I was having Vertigo and diagnosed me with meniers. He is excellent.

Dr Schwaber is very knowledgeable about my condition . He is very honest and wanted me to have pertinent information . He is not warm and fuzzy but I pay for his treatment of my illness and that is what I get. If I want warm and fuzzy I will buy a Teddy Bear.

I am surprised to hear the negative reviews. I have been a patient now for twenty years and he has been nothing but pleasant every time I have seen him. He is very knowledgeable and even sent me for vestibular therapy a while back. My insurance changed last year and he waited to try to fit me in while they were on the phone trying to get a formal referral straightened out. Then he did allow me to reschedule due to the mix up. Dr. Schwaber was professional and listened well to my issues. He showed me the graph's on my hearing test from several months ago, explained in detailed what is going on and gave me a detailed written plan to get this disease under control. I couldn't ask for a more caring doctor. Because of the research I have done about my Meniere's Disease, I know Dr. Schwaber is truly an expert.

I had surgery 20 years ago by Dr. Schwaber and never had any issues until December 2016. I went back to him and he’s not the same doctor now!! He acts like everything you tell him, isn’t that bad!! He eventually did surgery after 7 months and then I get MRSA!! I am still dealing with dizziness and infection to date!! He doesn’t have the same drive to fix problems, just patch up with antibiotics!!! I’m headed to UK Clinic!!!!

Dr schwaber tried to push hearing aids on me too. Then he done surgery on my right ear and assured me that my hearing would come back and it didn't. We'll I now have big chunks of black stuff coming out of my right dear and still can't hear.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. This man is rude, dismissive, and has done so much damage to my daughter’s ears. We were seeing one of his associates who was great, but was referred to him because of the complexity of my daughter’s case. He would not let us ask questions during the appointment and after the surgery, he waited forever to come talk to us. When he finally did, he was dressed to go home with his backpack and again would not allow us to ask any questions. When we tried, he just said “No no no.” When we went for a post-op appointment, he had us wait for over an hour while he was doing personal business across the hall. We tried to go back to the original doctor and we were told that since we went to Schwaber, we couldn’t change back. Another doctor looked in her ear during an appointment and said it was disgusting. She tried to call and they refused information. We have now decided to go to another doctor (our original who wouldn’t take our old insurance) and Dr Schwaber’s office won’t release the medical records!!! He has no place working with patients. Dr Schwaber has no business being a healthcare provider. I scheduled an appointment with him weeks in advance. I received a phone call the evening before my appointment telling me my appointment was cancelled by Dr Schwaber since he decided my insurance doesn't pay quick enough. I called back questioning him on this and he said even if I had a severe medical problem he would have done the same thing and cancelled and he doesn't need my business. Although he has NO BEDSIDE MANNER AT ALL, Dr Schwaber was attentive but did interrupt me several times. He sux at bedside manner, not personable at all, he is trying to work on some relief for me.. 3 at best.

I love Dr. Schwaber, he loves to talk and will sit with me and talk forever about medical concerns or just life in general. I read people saying he has no bedside manner but if you get him talking he is very, very chatty. He has helped me the best he can as there is no cure for my disease. He's a good Dr.

Dr Schwaber is a great ENT physician. Very very knowledgeable of Menieres Disease. He diagnosed me in 2003 & my wife & I drive from Knoxville Tn for my appointments. I Love to talk sports with Doc. during my visits. He is awesome I hope he has no plans to retire anytime soon. Thanks Dr Schwaber for all you do.

This man is a arrogant hateful and just plain mean. He acts as if he knows everything and if you ask him a question he looks at you as if your stupid. After surgery he won’t answer questions or spend time to explain things. It’s like your wasting his time. So sad to put your life in his hands and he treats patients like crap. It’s a wonder he has any patients at all.

Dr. Schwaber is an excellent physician. I went to him when I found out that I had an Acoustic Neuroma. 10 yrs I have suffered with a roaring noise in my right ear and was told there was nothing that could be done about it. After 3 treatments of radiation the tumor is dead and slowly dissolving. In a year or so we are hoping the roaring noise will be gone. I have new hope!

Dr. Swabber was very dismissive and non-caring. My first appointment, I barely got a chance to ask questions and was told shhh a few times. The 2nd appointment, I was in tears in pain, he just kept saying everything looks good good. I tried to ask him what I should do about some of my Meneire's symptoms, he just kept saying oh I don't know. And rushed me out the door. I will not be back. I've been a patient for several years and when I went to make my appointment his year he had changed how you do things. It takes a visit every 3 months to the nurse for your meds and then another appointment to see him on a different day. He does not make it convenient for a person with Menier's as it is an hours drive and I have to get somebody to take me. I guess after he told me he had done all he could do for me he was really through with me.
