I had been seeing another doctor for my hip. The recommendation was to keep weight off and just wait. After a year, I could walk but not do my regular activities. After seeing Dr. Ahmed, he explained so much more about my hip and osteoarthritis. He listened to my concerns, answered questions, and provided the information I needed to make the decision for hip replacement. He and the Riverside team prepared me for the surgery and what to expect. A week after surgery I am doing great! Hardly any pain, mobile, and working with physical therapy! I have been blessed by an amazing doctor and team!

Dr. Ahmed is a exceptional doctor. He listens to all of what you have to say, completely answers all your questions. I had a complicated reverse total shoulder replacement and a hip replacement. I healed much faster then I had expected, they both healed completely I experience no pain since the surgeries and my scars are just about all faded as compared to a previous hip replacement done by a different doctor which left with me a large ugly bumpy scar. I would recommend Dr. Ahmed with no hesitation.

Very short wait time, every staff member is kind, caring and friendly Dr Ahmed is personable, caring and very likable. He continues to follow up with his patients after surgery. Dr Ahmed takes his time and makes sure you understand everything regarding your visit, he’s considerate of your needs and doesn’t rush through your appointment.

Complete knee replacement was performed by Dr Ahmed. From the beginning Dr Ahmed was great from the initial consultation to post-op visits, he took the time to explain the procedure to me and answer my questions without feeling like I was taking too much time. His concern for my pain management after surgery allowed me to have some input on types of medication that would be used. Dr Ahmed is personable and instilled confidence that this would be a totally successful procedure.

I found Dr. Ahmed to be very professional and caring. He listened to my and my daughters’ concerns and gave us information that we needed and also suggested the options for my situation. I went to Fox Valley Orthopedics for a consultation regarding a total right knee replacement. I was referred to Dr Mohammed Ahmed who specializes in knee replacement surgery. I saw Dr Ahmed several times before deciding that a total knee replacement was what I would need to regain my active lifestyle. Dr Ahmed always took the time to answer all of my questions and never made me feel rushed at all. He performed the surgery and everything went extremely well. I had no bruising and very little swelling. I was able to play singles tennis after just 7 weeks and go back to all of the activities that I was not able to do before. After 3 months, the scar is barely visible and I have no issues with clicking, pain or numbness that I have heard about from others who have had a knee replacement. Dr Ahmed and his staff, especially Kim, were extremely helpful before and after the surgery, calling me back to address the questions I had. I highly recommend Dr Ahmed and his staff as well as Fox Valley
