I called to get some information and the Doctor answered like if it was his personal cell phone. As I was asking questions to get some information on how to schedule an appointment he rudely cut me off and hung up. I really hope he doesnt treat everyone like that. Specially when someone is in pain and doesn't feel good.

Be Careful - Pam is useless. They leave your messages to the doctor just laying on his desk on post-it notes so anyone can read them. Doc doesn't get complete messages from staff. We got copies of our records to take with us because we were moving out of town and read them. The notes are all wrong, there are procedures in mine that were my husbands, some that weren't ours at all and some marked on the wrong appendages. R vs L. He sat and screamed at me for 10 minutes in an exam room because his staff didn't give him the correct messages we left for him thereby screwing up my husbands order for his meds in his pump and then infused the wrong meds anyway because they were there. We had been telling him we were moving for two months; when the last day came (hubs refill day before we left), he finally acknowledged this, told us we never told him, and then snarked at us that we'd never get care where we were going. I came here hoping to find great reviews because I really like the way the office communicated with each other. And they intently listened and asked relevant questions. After being called an addict by Enloe for trying to get help. Having them recommend a morphine pump was freeing. Finally somewhere that would listen before applying an indoctrinated mandate where they would not even look at my history before judging my intent and actions. He was able to relieve 65-70% of my pain. Very professional, explained everything that would/is/ could happen. If I didn't understand something he explained it again. His staff is remarkable!!! My experience has always been positive.

I have had mild back problems in the past, but nothing as bad as this. I suffered a low back injury. L5-S1 bulging disk, pressing against my spine. I don’t like pain meds, and have a very high tolerance to pain. I am not one to sit back, and I give it my all, generally sacrificing my well being to get things done. I love my job. I needed relief to get back to work. My pain ranked from a 3-4 with chronic issues to an 8 when It became acute. The injury led to the loss of the sensation to my left leg finding it difficult to ambulate. After seeing my MRI, My back had the looks of an 80 year olds, ugly, with the bulging disc injury and spurs. MD Alghannam was very concerned. He took the time to explain my issues, assessed me, and was able to successfully buy me some relief to my back pain and the use of my leg. As I don’t like anesthesia, I appreciated the fact he did the procedure with localization only. No anesthesia. The injury pain to my back was far worse then the procedure pain. I could feel instant relief with the injection. Due to the nature of my injury, the relief was temporary, and I was able to get two sets of injections with great satisfaction. I have seen a great deal of his work, and I am very pleased with what he has done. I highly recommend him for anyone with back pain issues. I came in with back pain. Nothing made it better. I discussed my issues with him, my fears, etc. He took the time to review the procedure. My back pain severe an 7 to 8, purely debilitating, not able to sit, stand, barely walk. I get sick of hearing people say their pains were 10 and walk in, sit down. The procedure was with local only, but this was nothing compared to my back pain. I got good enough relief to where I could loose weight and feel better.

He is a very caring and sympathetic Doctor as well as a person he cares about his patients and spends time with them. He is the Miracle Man to me. He changed my life for the better. He takes the time to get to know you personally and professionally.

If You have MediCal ... Dont go here! There communication is unprofessional as to informing patients on changes with their insurance contracts. Called last week all was good, however the reception or assistant said shed call me back. However, no one called me back and I called this morning... Dr Algahannom is the best pain specialist, he truly listens to what you have to say. I have suffered immense pain for over 20 years from different bone diseases and he is the first doctor that actually gave me pain relief. I am going through the process of getting a pain pump and the test run I had was unbelievable, I was truly out of pain for just over 24 hours. It was like being high on life with absolutely no fog. It was the first time in over 20 years I could stand up straight and not have intense pain also absolutely no fog like when you take pain meds. Dr Algahannom is truly a blessing for people who suffer from intense chronic pain, through out the years I have tried so many different medications with all the side effects and they don’t even compare to having the pain injection in my spine. I have done epidurals, physical therapy multiple times and back surgery and none of those come close to the relief I felt with the pain med injection in my spine. Dr Alghannam is one of the most caring, gentle souls I have ever met in my life. He genuinely cares about his patients, takes time to listen (even if it is a non related story) and I trust this man implicitly! He is NOT a pill pusher, NOT the kind of doctor that will write you a script and send you packing so if that's what you are looking for I suggest you keep looking. He is in this for his patients well being and that is why I am with him. I could have stayed with my PCP and continued to get the higher doses of opiates but that is NOT what I want out of life, I want to live again and with his help I have every intention of doing just that! We have finally through a bit of trial and error figured out what is going to be the best option for me. Again Dr Alghannam is caring, devoted and very much want's what is ultimately the best for his patients, so he will not slap a "band aid" on you and send you home with a bottle of pills. If you are looking for a man of integrity who cares about you and what is best for you then he is your man! I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful Doctor. Dr Alghannam is very caring and he takes the time to let you ask questions. His staff are courteous and kind. Wait times are minimal. I've never had problem getting an appointment when I needed it. His office is clean and beautiful. I have chronic, severe pain. I've seen a number of doctors over the years. All they've ever wanted to do was give me pills. I wanted a doctor who was willing to work with me to find better solutions. Dr Alghannam took the time to properly assess my condition. In that way he was able to provide me with a level of pain relief I had come to believe was impossible. He's giving me my life back and I couldn't be more grateful. I recommend him highly. My experiences with Dr. Alghannam is very good but his staff is to be desired......They entire office including the doctor are terrible at paperwork. Getting them to make requests for authorization is like an act of congress, you have to hound them. And when you ask his staff to follow they make one or two attempts and then nothing until you complain again.

MD Alghannam has a solid reputation. I have been seeing him for a chronic back problem. I broke my back in three places and did not seek treatment when I was younger. Being older, time has taken its toll. I got instant relief, after 30+ years of discomfort. I have read the reviews of others before having this procedure, and I wouldn't believe a word. This man paralyzed my mother while administering a pain management procedure. He spent a total of four hours attempting to give her a shot. Four hours. That's four hours of him literally poking her spine..unsuccessfully. She walked into what was described to her as a standard procedure and she never walked out.
