Dr. Ahmed is a good listener, takes all the time necessary to understand the patients issues and reason for their visit. He has a very good understanding of pharmacology. He gives patients comfort and confidence in his ability to help them.

however i dont think sectaries or receptionists should have the responsibility of dealing with patients prescriptions, if they dont have the experiance nor empathy of dealing with patients; when nikita digitally set up my prescription with walgreens, when i called wag they said tell the doctor to call directly cause their systems were down; when i called to tell that to nikita, she did........absolutly nothing. i kept calling wag and they said sorry-nothing called in; i went 2 days without prescription for a Urinary tract infection; the next day when i went to physically pu the prescriptions, i asked her why she didnt call it in she robotically asked for my name and birthdate; the office was very slow the day before, so she knew who i was. and to this day, i dont know why she didnt either call herself or tell staff to call;

Love and respect to Dr. Ahmed and Doc Sharon. They have taken care of my family for years. I don't mind change but I really find the changes to the practice have been not good. There is now a mandatory 6 month office visit to get annual prescription filled. The phone system is horrendous, you can't get a human being. When you finally talk to someone the person is curt and unhelpful. I loved the staff at the old office and appreciated the personal care they showed. When I was studying for my medical coding certificate one of the staff would quiz me what the e&m code was for my visit. I will continue to see Dr. Ahmed because he is the best. Dr. Ahmed is the best. Always spends as much time as needed with the patients and answers all questions so you can understand. Recommended him to my sister.

Best doctor and staff in town!

Very hard to reach someone to help you and for someone to return your call. Phone system not a great system. Called several times and the only option is to leave a message or press * to reach an operator but when you do, it doesn't get you anywhere. Very frustrating. Front desk not very friendly. The 5 stars here are for Dr Ahmed, he has been very good to all my family. After the office was sold to this new group, the service is very bad, the phones do not get answered. The office would get 1 star. They should fix these problems or a lot of his patients will leave.

He’s a great Doctor who is compassionate and has great bedside manners.

First and foremost I want to say that the times I did see Dr. Ahmed, he was polite and kind. I have had issues with whatever team sits at the front desk answering phones for a while. The first incident I just assumed someone was having a bad day. I was spoken to in a nasty manner and not anyway that was reflective of good customer service. The second time I had a bad encounter, I had to phone in a request for prescription because I had moved away and had not yet seen my new doctor. The lady on the phone gave me a hard time and eventually stated that she would put in the script for the pharmacy closest to me. When I arrived to the pharmacy a couple days later they told me they had not had anything on file for a couple of years. As you can imagine I was highly irritated having been lied to. The third and most recent exchange happened because I was following up on the second call and to see if I can have my script filled one last time before I see my new Dr. Not only was the woman answering the phone absolutely disgusting, all the while I am maintaining my composure and being respectful. Not only did she refuse to give me her name but she hangs up on me simply because she did not want to answer a question I was asking her about the televisits they have implemented I am assuming due to COVID. When I called back I asked her why she hung up and she of course states, "I did not hang up on you" and she immediately puts me on hold and the office manager, Sharon comes back to the phone. Now I knew who this was because she has seen me before in Dr. Ahmed's absence. She is a bit brutish and lacks bedside manner so I knew she was going to have the same disrespectful energy the previous lady projected. And I was right! They refused to allow me to speak to Dr. Ahmed and said that the only way I can speak with him on the phone was to pay for a televisit. I have spoken to Dr. Ahmed briefly over the phone just to ask a quick question (which is what I needed to do this time as well), and I was not charged. Now it seems that Dr. Ahmed has his pitbulls guarding access to him at the expense of customer service and respecting patients. As I stated, Dr. Ahmed was always polite and respectful when I saw him for appointments, but the rest of the staff he employs are a bunch of wild dogs. No manners, no professionalism and probably unbeknownst to Dr. Ahmed they are running patients away. If you can, do yourself a favor and find another practice that respects their patients. Been a patient for about 5 years... I was squeezed in due to an acute knee injury before Christmas, I usually see my awesome nurse practitioner Sharon Thrust but she wasn't available and was seen by Dr Ahmed. What a breath of fresh air, same caring compassion, and conservative treatment referring me to an ortho... all good now and on the mend. If your looking for medial providers, Dr. Mujahed Ahmed and Sharon Thrush are highly recommended. I manage a medical lab, and find this office to meet my families needs in everyway. I have been a patient with Dr. Ahmed for over 15 years he and his staff have always treated me with respect and compassion I have a lot of issues and they are always very helpful no matter what it is. Dr. Ahmed is a kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and caring physician. He truly listens to you and is always ready and willing to help. Each one of his staff are the same. You will not regret making an appointment with him.

Dr. Ahmed is both a gentleman and an excellent doctor. He treats patients with respect and listens to what they have to say. He is cautious with prescribing medications for me because he knows that I am allergic to many meds. The office staff are knowledgeable and friendly - and truly care about the patients - young & old. Dr. Ahmed is a good diagnostician - able to recognize a problem and treat it correctly. He is thorough and I can get my annual well exam done at his office and have my blood drawn too. Very good family physician. Both Dr. Ahmed and Sharon, the Nurse Practicioner, are concerned and caring and have very good experience and common sense. I've been going here for at least 15 years and it is as close as you will come to a old time family doctor. The staff is very helpful also.

Dr. Ahmed is considerate, listens to ones concerns; explains in details if any doubt. My entire family goes to Dr. Ahmed. The staff is outstanding and pleasant to speak to over the phone. I have recommended this practice to friends and those searching for a PCP.

Pretty much my entire family has been seeing Dr. Ahmed for close to 20 years. He truly cares about his patients and remembers you. He isn't all about throwing pills at you, he is about getting to the root of the issue and creating a care plan that will work for you.

Lifesaver

Being born and raised in Europe but now living in the US, I found myself missing the type of family doctor that I was used to while growing up: a doctor that cares, that listens, and genuinely wants you to be well, and not just throw some pills at you and out you go. Dr. Ahmed was recommended to me and I could not be happier. I now live in Miami but I will only go to Dr. Ahmed. To me, it's a no brainer, he is very much worth the drive and the extra time. Dr. Ahmed and his staff are truly the best, my mom and husband go there and my friends. Dr. Sharon is always a super back-up if he is busy. The girls that work there have been with him forever it seems. That alone shows you that he is a caring and compassionate and takes care of his team. They work extremely hard and never are to busy to not call you back. Michelle is so important to him as she explains billing and anything so simple and she is a doll. He is smart kind and very professional. My whole family uses him and I have referred many people to his practice. His staff is incredibly friendly and helpful at all times.

You will not find a better doctor anywhere. Dr. Mike is wonderfully compassionate... He listens... and he is an excellent diagnostician. PLUS... his office staff is simply the BEST. I do not have the words to adequately express the wonderful care I experience whenever I go there.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ahmed's for years now and since moving my Mother down to South Florida in March, 2015, she has been for over a year now. Never has either one of us met a more genuine, caring doctor and whether you are a first time patient or a patient of many years, you feel it as soon as you step foot into the office and are greeted by his kind & caring front desk staff. He is very inconsiderate and cold. He does not read the records and does not know his patients well. He did not order the correct doctors for diagnose. He could've really caused harm by ordering the wrong Doctors to assist

Dr. Ahmed is simply the best. He is caring, very helpful and very patient. He explains his findings in detail and in language I can understand. But he is also a terrific practitioner. I have trusted him with my health for more than a decade and will continue to do so. In addition, his office staff is amazing. You can have blood drawn right there instead of having to go to a lab. And everyone in that office has a wonderful, upbeat attitude. I can recommend Dr. Ahmed without reservation

My parents go to him, and they both love him. He cares about you and not trying to make his way into your pockets.

I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed for about 5 years and I truly can say that he is a great doctor. Emergency's are seem the same day, staff is amazing very knowledgeable and are there to help with any of your need's. I truly recommend Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Sharon they are both great.
