Dr. Namita Khanna

Zero stars!!! Horrible surgeon. I originally asked for non invasive robotic hysterectomy. Incompetent decisions (she stated was her "judgement call") which led to a simple hysterectomy proceedure and is now into year 4 of complications by her hand. When I say Run as far as you can and just as fast to another, I'm stating it lightly. This procedure as well as bad bacteria Enterococcus & Klebsiella she infected me with at surgery and sent me home with, which tunneled through my abdominal cavity and that led to 1 yr. 7 months wound care and full abdominal herniation (small intestine and Colon falling out) which led to full abdominal reconstructive surgery which led to plastic surgery. Hospital acquired klebsiella colonized with lifetime of complications as well as hospital acquired MRSA. Klebsiella treatments require picc lines, unfortunately, veins are now so severely scarred from having so many that picc cannot be performed for IV antibiotics. Khanna ignored my symptoms after she re hospitalized for same bad bacteria on 2nd hospitalized follow up, I begged her as well as my best friend asked her to do another sample off sterilized wound vac line. We asked 3 times and she refused saying to return in 2 weeks. Drove immediately to cartersville hospital and they immediately did sample proving how sick i was. Hospitalization #3. Dr. Khanna called me once after only to ask why i missed my appointments. I told her I didn't trust her decisions and that I was hospitalized. She said it was her judgment call which i recorded. Obviously, she dreamed of a wound vac miracle when she installed one on 2nd hospitalization to cure her mistakes as she sent me home sick with pre sepsis symptoms again. Stay clear of Khanna and stay clear of filthy Emory. Stay clear of surgeons students who get to experiment at a cost to you, your life and your family. You will end up with nothing but complications. You will end up with No one actually listening to you. Never forget that no one knows your body better than you. I have been hospitalized 14 times since Dr. Khannas surgery. Including 1 month straight. Words cannot express how disgusted I am having chosen her. I honestly dont know how this woman sleeps at night. I wish she could endure 1/10 of the pain she and emory have opened me to. I should have hired an attorney. You will end up severely scarred for life and loss of a navel with crooked abdomen from reconstructive muscles and lifetime nerve damage. All because you listened to a doctor tell you that you might be cancerous only to find out you weren't. I have proof and photos of everything stated here. Too bad doctors don't do time in a cell for the harms they've caused their patients. But not to worry. Either way she still collects her fee's right?. To date insurance "paid out" over 1 million dollars since Khannas failed hysterectomy. Why wouldn't my wound heal after Khanna opened me back up from bad bacterias from surgery and re hospitalized? Because it was actually my intestinal wall not granulating. What kind of a doctor cuts open your belly when shes informed and knows you recently had been cut in the same exact place for anterior back fusion vs. Doing a Robotic hysterectomy? Dr. Khanna! Do not take her advice. She weakened abdominal wall and started a never ending medical story. Save yourself and get 3 opinions elsewhere, anywhere but her and Emory. Either that or plan on getting to know your infectious disease doctor Very well and be prepared for a life changing surgery that destroys everything you have as well as the loss of living any normal life for years. I pray she doesn't have the opportunity to touch anyone reading this. I know she will never touch anyone I know and that knows my story.

I was so pleased with my care by Dr. Khanna. She was knowledgeable and reassuring, and my operation and recovery were very smooth.
