Always have received professional and friendly service over the years. Two of our older daughters are thrilled with their results following treatment by Dr. Shackleton. Our third daughter now needs braces and we wouldn't have thought to go anywhere else. There's so much time invested in how to approach each child's path of treatment. It's a relationship. Our family has the upmost confidence in the care provided by Dr. Shackleton and her high quality staff. Our family had to suddenly relocate from Tacoma,WA to Louisville and the rep for my appliances recommended Dr. Shackleton’s practice. Everything transferred seamlessly and Kim (Office Admin) handled all of the necessary paperwork for my insurance. My particular style of brackets became tricky to manage toward the end of my treatment and Dr. Shackleton was super accommodating. As an adult, getting braces is not an easy process but I looked forward to my 6-8 week check ups. The assistants are very knowledgeable and friendly to the point that my 2 year older son would say he’s going with me to see his lady friends. I completed treatment less than the initial recommendation of 24 months and I am super satisfied with my beautiful smile and healthy gums. I recommend this practice to anyone starting or transferring from another practice.

5 Stars is not enough for the quality of care, more than reasonable cost, professionalism, friendliness, expertise, and friendly atmosphere. So ease to work with this office. Would never go anywhere else for orthodontic care. Highly recommended Dr Shackleton and the great staff in her office.

We were early and thought we would be waiting and hour. Luckily we went back as soon as they were able. She let us know all our options and what would be happening. She explained a lot more than the previous orthodontist we visited. my son will getting his braces there next week.

Went in for a consultation and they are the nicest and most professional people I have ever met. Prices and payment plans are reasonable, but the experience is better than I could have imagined. Very important especially when it is your child that has to go through the experience.

I had a consult with Dr. Shackleton today. It was one of the best medical appointments I have had since moving to Louisville. She is personable, carefully explains the procedure, treatment as well as the cost. What's more everyone in her office is pleasant and helpful. The hospitality from this staff is phenomenal. So friendly, professional and clean. We loved how we can see our child from the waiting room. Knowing & seeing that she's being taken care of in such a good & professional manner. There was communication between us and every single staff member. Keeping us informed every step of the way. I love this office! We have 1 kid on the tail end of her braces and 2 more starting, we moved to southern Indiana and chose to stay here with the other 2 because we're so happy with the staff and service. Recently, my youngest had a Mara appliance put in and he was so nervous he got sick. We went in for our initial appointment, and had our braces put on the same day due to an opening in the schedule. It did not take very long, and everyone was very friendly. The front desk is even open to working with our special insurance.

Dr. Shackelton aquired Dr. Green's practice. I was a patient of Dr. Green's some ?? years ago and my daughter saw him for interceptive orthodontic work (a story for another day, let's just say she was immature and not ready for the responsibility). Anyway, I panicked when I received the letter stating that Dr. Green had retired. However, my daughter was a thumb-sucker, so delaying treatment because I was bitter she couldn't see my former orthodontist, wasn't an option. She is going to middle school, kids are mean and a pretty smile does wonders for seld-esteem. From her consultation appointment in May, to getting braces today (23 June 15), I have been beyond pleased! Kim was amazing and bent over backwards to get us in. Dr. Shackelton's "bedside" manners are superb and in a good faith gesture, Dr. Shackelton hired my FAVORITE Dr. Green employee, Ms. Sandy, who assisted with the appliance installation, just as she did mine in 19??. The latter carried some sentimental value, especially in a time when dental and orthodontic practices have become cookie-cutter, commercial and factory like. I did my research. Dr. Shackelton is highly respected amongst her peers and patients. She could charge like posh practitioners do, but she doesn't. She is the working parent's friend. I'm excited about this journey, pray my daughter stays the course and look forward to seeing the end results!! My child is the most precious thing I have. I trust her care to Dr. Shackelton - there is no greater recommendation than that.
