She is clearly BRILLIANT. I therefore trust her with my children's health.

After waiting close to an hour to even be seen, Dr. Silverberg came in and was immediately overbearing and dismissive. I got about 5 words into why I had been referred to her and she already had a “diagnosis” made up - which she stubbornly stuck to regardless of any additional/contradicting information I gave her. She had hardly any regard to my medical history or physical exam. She contradicted what my referring doctor sent me in for with minimal explanation as to why. When I asked for more a clear explanation and explained to her why my diagnosis differed from what she was saying, she chuckled at me and didn’t give me a clear answer. She googled the “diagnosis” she thought I had and read the google description to me. She constantly cut me off while I was talking and disregarded my concerns. At one point she looked at my face and said “what are you doing about the acne?” I had maybe 3 visible pimples but she insisted on writing me a prescription which I probably don’t need.

One of the worst and most pointless doctor visits. Waited an hour in the waiting room because she was finishing PAPER WORK. Received no apology and a rushed visit when she finally showed. No bedside manners- did not take the time to explain where she would be examining. I would have hoped for a heads up when she was going to examine below my underwear but she did not which made me feel very uncomfortable as I did not know it was going to happen at that moment

Worst customer service. The receptionist Stephanie made a virtual appointment to see Dr. Nanette Silverberg on July 6th. She wasted at least one hour of my time because she did not know how to set up the account. My baby had an emergency and she promised that 100% the appointment was confirmed. Apparently they don’t know how to manage virtual appointments. Dr. Silverberg never called at the time of my appointment. Stay away! Worst customer service. Dr Silverberg was scattered and disorganized in conveying information and instructions regarding my rosacea. It took days to have her return my first message in my chart and I am still waiting for a response to my second inquiry. Use another doctor in this practice.

Extremely unattentive and not thorough. Just gave a nonchalant diagnosis, prescribed medication and gave zero information on how to care for my ailment. I got more information from Google. I'm making an appointment with another dermatologist now.

Dr. Silverberg has no idea what to do with African American skin but yet works for the Color of Skin Center for Mount Sinai. I specifically told her that I'm not here for my face and I am here for my body but proceeded to tell me all the things I could do for my face. She did not explain anything regarding the different treatments for different types of skin. She barely examined my problem areas (arms, back, chest) but she did touch my face which once again was not what I needed. She then said she would prescribe anti-biotics but then completely forgot to do so. She ended the appointment with giving me a BUNCH of samples of products that i can get from ANYWHERE like cetaphil (which i already use) and epiduo. I gained nothing from my appointment and it was a waste of time and money. She might be a good dermatologist, I don't know but she should not be working for the Color of Skin center. She is my daughter dermatologis since she was toddler and is a great doctor, her office at home is like a family business. Thank you Dr.

Poor, poor, poor attitude...lazy, lazy, lazy doctor and office...was 5 minutes late one day and they sent me all the way back home to Brooklyn. I had to reschedule and arrange for another appointment. I went to the appointment, she wrote me a prescription, put a little medicine and a bandaid on my foot and then charged me $650 for the visit. This office is lazy and arrogant...do not believe the positive reviews. The front desk receptionists can surely make me go postal! I went in person to make an appointment and the receptionist told me she was really busy and to wait 10 minutes before she can help me make an appointment. I waited for 20 minutes, went up to her and she said she was still too busy. She was just punching things into the computer. I left and called instead to make the appointment, which was what I should have done in the first place because that was quick and easy and I assume was answered by someone other than the front desk. On appointment day, I go back in and it takes me like 10 minutes to finally tell front desk that I'm here. Then I wait over an hour after my appointment time to be called in and an additional 20 minutes in the exam room before I finally see the doctor. Dr. Silverberg was very patient and helpful and nice and I loved her, but my experience with the front desk and waiting time make me think it might not be worth the hassle to continue seeing her. My child's eczema has been really aweful. My friend recommended Dr. Silverberg and he is now able to sleep. Her staff was nice enough to fit us in right away. Thanks!

The Brooklyn office is a complete and utter disgrace. The condition of the facilities is beyond disgusting. I waked in and immediately walked out of this filthy place.

I had an appointment at her Brooklyn location and was very uncomfortable. The office was run down, felt dirty, rooms were not private and, they did not take credit cards.

I am appalled by my experience seeing Dr. Silverberg. During our visit she was unprofessional, hasty, and seemed to be groggy. I filled out 10 pages of paperwork for prior authorization for a prescription during our visit. A month later I had not heard back so I called. She had apparently never filed the paperwork and was now out on medical leave. Her assistant refused to file the paperwork that I had filled out and suggested I return to see a different Doctor. I will NEVER return to this office

I attempted to have a follow up visit with Dr. Silverberg on 12/13/2016 and it was a truly horrible experience. After filling out paper work (I already had done..again, this is the follow up appointment), I was left in one of their examination rooms for over a hour hearing other nurses having a blast there at work. I finally left since I had I had to get my job, but it's too clear that I was the only whom this concerned. Today, I called their office to let them know how disrespected I felt and the receptionist took some of my info and puts me on hold just to hang up on me. All of this for some dermatology help? It's true, the office staff is not one of NYC's finest and we've definitely experienced disorganization and blasé attitudes. However, we've had better days as well. I imagine some of this unprofessional behavior is because of the organizational flux as Mt. Sinai absorbs Beth Israel. This doesn't excuse bad behavior, of course, but I do think growing pains are at work. BUT, about Dr. Silverberg, we'd heard that she was one of the best and waited a month to become a patient of hers and we're so glad we did. She is wonderful and perfect for my son. She really listens and is wonderfully down to earth. We're really happy to be in her care and recommend her highly! You can get results with Dr. Silverberg but if you are seeing her at Union Square, expect a long wait time. I suggest finding out when her first appointment of the day is and booking the first or second appointment before she gets backed up or book the last appointment since they want to wrap up the day and go home.

I visited Dr. Silverberg at the Mt. Sinai West 59th St. office for the first time yesterday. My wait time was only about 15 minutes. She listened to and answered all of the questions I asked, was very knowledgeable, knew exactly what to prescribe and all in all, was very helpful. Thank you Dr. Silverberg.

The Doctor is ok, it's the staff that is truly inept. I needed prior authorization for 2 prescriptions that the Dr. wrote, and they could not figure out how to provide it. It's now been 2 weeks since my appt, I've called the office 4 times, and still the Rx is not filled. It's not the pharmacy's fault. I've been using the same pharmacy for over 10 years, and never had a problem.

After waiting for 45 minutes past appointment, walked out of her office. Not sure how good she is but if her professionalism is any indication then stay away.

Long wait time, office staff was less than friendly. I didn't feel as though the doctor listened to all of my questions or concerns. Some of my questions were not addressed during the appointment. I left unsure if I was to schedule a follow up appointment or wait for test results first.

Waiting for her made the lines at the DMV seem like a NASCAR. Slow, grumpy, disheveled, & pretty much useless. After making me wait for over an hour she had a student diagnose me while she played on her phone. I'm not sure how this woman still has a job. I wouldn't trust her to keep my tamagotchi alive let alone address my own personal health. After all was said & done it turned out that she didn't even do the right tests yet I still received a sizable bill in the mall. Hours of my life...gone.

She takes forever to see you, on top of that she will change your original app. because she is so busy that cant keep up.

I waited for three hours. She finally took me after every single other patient left. I think she took me last because she did not like my Obama care insurance. Her staff never did send a bill and I started receiving phone calls from a collection agency at work. While in her office she biopsied something on my face without asking for permission and left a permanent scar. Had gone to the office for something else. Guess she thought insurance would pay her for that. Unprofessional rude.
