I am a patient of Dr Santos & have been going to the Lake Worth (Atlantis) facility for 2 years now for chemotherapy. The entire staff @ that facility are very friendly, caring & ready to assist you in any way when & if needed. Your nurses are very knowledgeable & professional. They are also sociable & will sit & talk with you. This really makes you feel comfortable & lessons the anxiety. During chemo you are observed constantly & right @ your side if you are not doing well. I had an allergic reaction to one of my chemo drugs, scary, they were there to get me through this. My nurse practitioner, Lazara APRN, is great. She will help you in any way she can. Just listening to you, giving suggestions & let's you know she is there for you is a comfort. Amy, my nurse care manager, is a sweetheart. Again listens, gives helpful suggestions & is so sincere. Will check w/ the Dr. if there are any questions or issues that need to be addressed. Finally Dr. Santos. I believe in him, trust in him & have the highest respect for him. He consults w/ you in your treatments. You have a say in what is going on with your life! Very professional & personable. He explains everything & will talk options, will want your opinion. Works w/ you. What I like is that he is up front with you. He will tell you as it is. Won't hide or beat around the bush. I admire that in a Dr. I had rough times & health issues during this time but have made it through 2 yrs of chemo. Stage 3 & stage 4 cancer for a yr. I could not have made it through this without the excellent care & assistance with all of the above. They all are exceptional people.
