Dr. Nasrullah Manji

He did not go to the waiting room in time to talk to my family after the procedure and never came to my room either. We never spoke with him after the procedure and was unreachable. As it happens he did a poor analysis as well considering I ended up back in the ER 2 days later for the very same problem, GI bleed. Very arrogant attitude.

Dr. Manji is wonderful. He is a good old fashion doctor that takes his time with each patient, As a result of this, the wait time in his waiting room is a little long - but he is worth the wait.

Very Very bad experience. He will not come to see you personally. I don't know why they were recording everything I was telling them. He will straight tell you to get your endoscopy done without examining me.Please dont waste time to see him. Go look for someone else who can examine you personally. I hope all our comments are been reviewed by him or his staff, so they can improve their service.

got a referral from the PCP to see this Dr. for preventive screening colonoscopy. Took a whole week for them to pick up the phone to schedule an appointment to just see the doctor before the colonoscopy. Arrived at the office on time , did not got called to see the PA until more than one hour pass the appointment time. Took another week to get in touch of the office to trying to schedule the actual colonoscopy.

I've know Dr. Manji for 20 plus years. Basically saved my life. Make sure to get a colonoscopy ever 5 years or whatever he suggests. I do my every 5 years. Thank you Dr. Manji, May you live forever saving lives.

Dr. Nasrullah Manji - an Excellent GI Specialist Dr. Manji is a highly experienced GI specialist. His humorous attitude and easy going bedside manner are a rare characteristics for a doctor! Taking the patient from the waiting-room to the examine-room by Dr. Manji himself, instead of one of his staff, is a pleasant difference between his office and all other doctor offices. His staff are all nice people. However, it seems that one of his front office staff has worked there for a long time! Before she is burned out for more, this gentle lady named H**** needs to retire and take a long vacation that she deserves. She should vacant the seat for a more energetic and patient sympathetic employee.

Dr. Manji and his team are awesome. I have been under his care for the last 30 some years and he has saved my life a couple of times now. I have IBS and If it wasn't for his professional help I may not be alive today. He listens and cares what you have to say, not like must doctors. He is very caring. He treats you like his own family. I have been a patient of Dr. Nasrullah Manji for approximately 20+ years. He is an excellent Gastroenterologist that has over 41 years of experience, and I have been a part of that for half. The staff has change over the years, but in the latter of my visits. I knew his staff personally and the only one left from the beginning of my care is the front desk staffer by the name of Helen. There was and continues to be professionalism at its finest. I would like to say thank you Dr. Manji and staff for continuing to be there for your patients.

Worse experience ever. Starting from the front office to Doctor , Only intention of this Dr. office to steal all your money. They charge a large amount money for everything and the service very poor. I paid approx.. $500 for the doctor to check the endoscopy results at the facility. My procedure was delayed for 4 hours just waiting on the doctor. I had to make numerous calls to get the money back on a cancelled procedure , finally got the money after 4 months and they paid only 60 %. Still waiting waiting for the biopsy results after the endoscopy completed in 01/22. Please be aware of all this before visiting Dr.Manji's office.

My Mum and I are patient of Dr. Manji for several years now (8 years). He is an excellent Doctor which I trust my life to. He is dedicated and care a lot about his patients, unlike many doctors that barely listen and spend time with the patient. HORRIBLE experience with Dr.Manji , I will never go back to this place again. His bedside manners are UTTERLY terrible . I truly recommend stirring clear from Dr.Manji and this office . The service here is nothing more than the absolute bare minimum. Not to mention the scams they try to pull in regards to payment! I strongly recommend not to use their services, first of all they charge you upfront even though you have insurance, they said to me when the insurance company pays will we refund your money. When I call for refund they said I have to prove that insurance company paid us then we will refund your money. I had colonoscopy procedure in august and I am still struggling to get my refund if you don't believe me try calling his office in sugar Land , you won't be able to reach it, try it. In google it says they are open but in messaging service it says they are close. I will give him negative 10 rating. I have never seen any clinic charge you upfront, now I know why they do. Other than this most importantly, My family has cancer history and by recommendation I should have procedure done every five years, but this doctor recommend me 10 years. Beware of Dr. Manji ! When I first entered Dr. Manji’s office I was greeted by a rude receptionist who refused to provide me a mask, given it was required to be in the office. Another patient offered me an extra she had since the receptionist refused to give me one. A medical office with no masks seems like a huge liability in this pandemic era. Then, I was taken in to see the doctor. To my surprise, I was seen by a PA rather than the doctor. This PA was the only kind hearted and empathetic soul in this office. My assessment was done completely by the PA. I asked to see the doctor before I left since I had paid a co-pay as well as scheduled my visit with Dr. Manji, not his PA. He arrived and talked about the weather rather than my condition. I emphasized my condition to the doctor and he said his office would schedule an endoscopy. I was taken to his scheduler. She booked me for my procedure. A day before my procedure his office called me and left a voicemail. The message consisted of an office work named Celine who said I needed to pay a portion of the doctor’s fees for the procedure and did not have time to check with my insurance. She then continued to say that she had cancelled my procedure given the short notice of not being able to process payment/insurance prior to the procedure date. She left this message without discussing or talking to me directly. She did not pick up the phone when I called back, and the endoscopy center was shocked that they had cancelled my procedure given insurance stated to them everything was covered. I called the office multiple times before I was able to get someone on the phone. I told them I talked to my insurance and everything is covered. They called me back an hour later and said that the insurance will cover everything; however, they would still like payment upfront and will reimburse me once insurance pays. The reimbursement process according to them consists of me bringing my bill back to them once procedure is done and them then processing reimbursement. I have never heard of this process at any other clinic given insurance will pay 100%. It is a scam where the clinic gets paid twice. I am deeply disappointed in Dr. Manji and his staff. He claims he is Harvard trained, but his office is run poorly and without respect for patients. He is a joke. This guy may Be able to handle the basic stuff, but if you have anything that is beyond prescribing PPIs to treat heartburn he is useless. He literally told me there is nothing he can do for me, but rather than tell me who I should go to for further evaluation he just pushed me out the door and said nothing.

He will not tell you the results until you schedule an office visit. Even at the office, he will not meet with you, an assistant will tell you the result in 2 minutes. This second meeting is for charging an office visit fee. I find this unprofessional.

He is a great gastroenterologist

Doctor Manji took superb care of my wife when she had a bad case of Pancreatitis, and I believe his efforts spared her life and gave her a solid road to recovery.

Dr. Manji and his staff are always there to help me and answer all my questions. I can always book an appointment quickly with him for anything I need. Dr. Manji is an excellent doctor and has a great bedside manner.

I was hospitalized a few years ago and Dr Manji came to see me. He has a great bedside manner and doesn’t do unnecessary procedures. My previous Dr wanted to do a colonoscopy ever year. I have only had 1 with Dr Manji in 5 years. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Horrible doesn’t even tap the disrespect I was shown. They took my money and made me sit for over 2 1/2 hours. I wasn’t even seen by the doctor I was seen by a person that may have been a nurse? Then told that the Emergency room doctor that diagnosed my problems was a liar and prescribed a random medication without even having my actual issues addressed. How is a person supposed to get better if they aren’t treated? Or better yet not even seen by the so called specialist I booked an appointment with. This is absolutely the most disgusting excuse for a Doctors office I have ever witnessed. I felt like I was being herded like cattle.

The clinic is a bit older of a building, but trust me these people want what is best for you. For the volume this clinic sees I would say they are doing a good job. My issue was minor, but I would trust his recommendations if my illness progressed. Stomach/digestive issues are very easy to misdiagnose, but I felt that Dr. Manji understood the severity of a misdiagnosis- treating even my minor complications as an issue that needed extensive notated detail.

I did not find my experiene with Dr. Manji or is staff particularly positive. I went to him for colonoscopy. The staff was rude, the consultation with Dr. Manji was hurried. I was asked to pay up front for fees that insurance covers, but will not be even turned in to insurance until almost two months after the procedure. I did not even see Dr. Manji after coming out from under the anesthesia. The results were given to me by a nurse. And, when I went to the office for follow up, the physician's assistant went over the results with me. No face to face with Dr. Manji again. I cannot believe that this is the way that a doctor can care for patients and continue to stay in business and get good reviews

Went for an appointment for a colonoscopy. I forgot my mask which is clearly my fault. when i realized while driving i did not have a mask i called their office and i could not get to anyone. when i reached the staff did not have a mask at hand or for sale even. Interestingly I noticed that one of the staff was on the phone without a mask and quickly put on a mask when she noticed that her coworker was telling me they did not have masks for me to use. Not going there. Upon further research i have reservations on seeing someone who has to advertise everytime we see their name as Harvard certified, even on the map applications.

I found Dr. Manji to be a Very professional doctor. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain things to me that I didn’t understand. I can’t imagine this very polite physician being rude to any patient. I can understand people being upset with him because maybe he didn’t tell them what they wanted to hear. No way could he ever be rude to a patient, I don’t see it in his character. I’ve worked in the people business for 40 years and I know it’s impossible to please everyone!

Dr. Manji is a wonderful doctor that takes time to listen to me and to explain exactly what is going on. He was a true advocate for me in the hospital when Methodist did not want to re run tests. He kept insisting and they eventually followed his wishes. He is a great doctor.

I am unsure as to why individuals apply for jobs they do not like doing. I went in for a simple doctor's note that was to excuse me from work on yesterday. Initially, my sister went in to ger it because one was not given at the hospital and I had just had a procedure. They sent her on a goose chase and did not give it to her. I went in after that. The older caucasian lady got an attitude as soon as I asked for the doctor's excuse. She stated that we had to get it from the authorizing doctor. I explained more than three times that Dr. Manji was the authorizing doctor. I then proceeded to show her the wrist band. She states she can't give me one once again. I told her again that Dr. MANJI was the doctor that set up the procedure and that I had just left from the hospital. Then she states "Have you been here before?" ????????‍♀️ Ma'am are you listening? I am already woozy from the sedation medicine and she is asking the dumbest of questions with a total attitude. A few minutes later she pulls the chart and sees that I am indeed a patient. Another young hispanic girl fills in the excuse. The date on the pretext to return was incorrect. Mind you she has already messed up three prior excuses because she could not get my name right or the date. Needless to say they got an attitude and did not correct it. I then said well forget and proceed to schedule my follow-up which he wanted the next week. There was nothing available for the date I was off. I then tried to get one in mid November. No morning or afternoon appointments. At this point I am irritated with thr entire situation. I walked out. I will be looking into another physician because the attitudes of the front office typically sets the tone for the establishment. Referred patient to physician. Patient had colonoscopy. Patient went for follow-up appointment. Dr. Manji didn't know why patient was in to see him. Did not have updated patient chart. Physician rushed appointment and was not helpful in explanation of diagnosis. Told patient to look it up online and schedule follow-up appointment to discuss medication regimen and consult with patient's outside physician on moving forward. Patient went for second follow-up and Dr. Manji never spoke to patient's outside physician and told patient to schedule another follow-up in two weeks. I rate this doctor 1 start because unfortunately it's the minimum. My experience with Dr. Manji's office was a scam. They herd patients through like cattle. His dictation of the office visit lasted longer than the evaluation itself. They capture every opportunity to bill the insurance to get maximum claims and out of pocket/out of network payments. Dr. Maji walks in, ask 1 or 2 questions then dictate an entire summary, without a physical exam. The office insist you use a particular surgery center, then bill everything as out of network, never sharing with the patient their in-network option. I went to Dr Manji office recently. His Nurse Practitioner is the one who saw me. She didn't do any exam just asked questions. She stated that the test results that I had over several months ago were normal. Okay but I'm having issues so that doesn't mean that the test results are normal NOW!!!

As a high risk colon cancer patient, I am so pleased to find a gastroenterologist with the training this doctor has. I am pleased his hospital affiliations, his relaxed demeanor and his overall care. I would highly recommend him.

As for the care he provides I truly appreciate his approach of treating me, since he is a one doctor practice he seems to be able to manage his time in such a way that he gives himself time to think and focus on me as his patient and truly cares about me as an individual, he is professional and he makes an investment in the well being of his patients. I wish I could give him 0 stars because he does not deserve 1. My mom went to see him and told her what she already knew and that she needed to take Immodium/ eat more fiber. How dare a Harvard Board Certified doctor state this when she actually has an emergency situation that needs to be dealt with immediately. He is very rude, and his staff didn't even have a TISSUE to give to my mom while her nose was constantly running down her face. I will continue to rate how awful this man and this practice is.

As a retired nurse of 35 years and having to choose a gastroenterologist I am very glad I was referred to Dr Manji. I found him to be highly competent and very patient in explaining my condition and treatment plan to my family. I was seen in a timely fashion, arrangements made by staff for my procedure, family advised of treatment plan, discharged and home with nothing but praise and gratitude.

The Doctor himself is ok, but the office/admin is a disaster. After prepping for a procedure I showed up at the facility only to be told that Dr. Manji was attending a funeral. I'm sorry for his loss, but the office should have notified me beforehand. i had done the prep work and taken a day off work. The facility told me that this is rather common for his office. The Front Desk Person and Office Manager at the Location in Sugarland is so RUDE , I would not refer my worst enemy to them. I tried to make an appointment and the front desk after a referral from my primary doctor. The lady would not look up, and when she did told me she was at LUNCH. I called back when I got home, and then had a terrible experience trying to make an appointment. I went round and round with the Office Manager about my Insurance telling her my insurance Company explained there office just needed a referral and the claim would be paid 100 percent. The office manager claimed they did accept the insurance, and got very rude when I offered the telephone number for her to verify. Overall great experience working with Dr. Manji. I had some issues with my GI tract for a few weeks before I decided to go see a doctor. I was referred to Dr. Manji by my friend who had gone to see him before. From the start, the staff was super helpful in setting up the appointment and I got one a few days later. The staff is very friendly too. Dr. Manji was very knowledgeable and also super friendly!! I was a little nervous, but he made me feel comfortable and he has great bedside manner.
