Many, many words and NASTY, NASTY Superlatives for this person parading around under the veil of being "HUMAN". Things that shouldn't be said out loud they are so Vile. As for the surgery Dr., only one word.. Oops! And I went back through the annals of your reviews and you've done the same thing to another little girl. WOW.. HOW DO YOU SLEEP? The Father reported you. Yet "YOU" are allowed to "Practice Medicine" while I consider my new life following your care? OMG are things broken. Is anyone hearing this? Practicing medicine? Because he has it down! Someday practice might make perfect if they allow him on his journey. ???? I would like to tell you that I do not practice my job I had... I perfected it. That's what most efficient and useful people can do. But you have left quite a "Trail of Tears" ????. I think maybe the only thing that you should be practicing is maybe solitaire? Please, people... He did ankle surgery on my daughter and fused her nerve to a tendon which has left half of her foot numb. The surgeon she is seeing now said he has a lot of work to do to undo everything Kiewiet did that was wrong. Should allow 0 stars, because this guy isn't worth the 1 star!

The only reason I rated him a 1 is because 0 is not an option. He preformed a bunion surgery that left my foot permanetly deformed with my big toe twisted and now laying on top of my 2nd and 3rd toe. I lost ability to move my 2nd and 3rd toes which are dead. He cut my leg open and removed something which left my leg numb and painful even after being 1 1/2 yrs later. The swelling in my foot will not go away and the 3 screws he put in my foot were loose which he informed me right after the surgery His simple answer to all of this was "I don't know why it's doing that" He made me wear a spacer between my toes to try to keep the big toe staight the whole time it was healing which caused even more problems. I have lost all balance while walking and am in constant pain. So upset I choose him for my surgery. My foot is so embarrassing to look at now but I can't cover my foot unless I wear a shoe 1 1/2 or 2 sizes larger than my normal size. So disappointed in the outcome and it just keeps getting worse Another surgery will not even be able to correct what he has done. The only reason I rated him a 1 is because 0 is not an option. He definitely wanted to get my problem solved and it looks like that's what's happening. Other people just wanted to brush me off.

Without even listening to me, he said he'd do surgery if I wanted. What?? Maybe tell me what is best for the condition, not what you think someone wants to hear.

They were able to see me quickly, they did a detailed assessment and were able to get insurance to cover the needed imaging.. great care and insurance coordination!

I was riding my motorcycle in 2013 and was in a head on collision with a pickup truck. Broke my back, both ankles and have metal in my back and both ankles. I work at Ford Motor company on the assembly line so it is very physically demanding being on my feet for 10+ hours a night and he refuses to write medical restrictions so I can be put on a job that isn't quite as physical, even after they initially said they would over a year ago. Now I might lose the job of a lifetime. I don't know if it's him or his nurse at drisko fee and parkins at Centerpoint since his nurse never let's me talk to the actual doctor. I sought help for a problem caused by a previous surgery. He ordered a CT scan. I waited a week to get the results. I called them and finally got them after speaking to several people. When the nurse called, she said the results were inconclusive and said I might be worse than I am now with surgery, but it was my choice to have surgery. I told her I would call the next day as I wanted to think about it. I did call her the next day and left a message. I never heard another word. I went back to the doctor who did the surgery. I am sure Dr. Kiewiet is a great doctor, but quite disappointed with the lack of follow up!

Dr. Kiewiet did a phenomenal job on my bunion surgery and it has healed very nicely. I run a lot and have had no issues from the surgery. I will be back to have Dr. Kiewiet do my other foot soon.

Awesome I want to give him credit where credit do and he s great doctor .Would recommend him to family and friends.

I fell and broke my leg and went to see Dr. Kiewiet. I found out I was going to need surgery to repair my broken Tibia and ankle. I was VERY nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Kiewiet and his staff made me feel very comfortable and thoroughly explained the whole procedure to me, and told me exactly what to expect. My surgery went great! I have never been more pleased with a doctor and their staff. They are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Thank you Dr. Kiewiet, Amanda, Sean, and Jackie!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Kiewiet and his staff. I tore my Achilles Tendon and as a workman’s comp case getting into a doctor quickly isn’t easy. Out of many doctors in Missouri, Dr. Kiewiet accepted me quickly. He was very professional, explained how the procedure would be done and answered all my questions without hesitation. The outpatient services were outstanding as well. I have a long way to go with my recovery, but I would recommend Dr. Kiewiet without hesitation.

Dr. Kiewiet and his team are outstanding. They always took the time to evaluate my ankle injury and assess its healing progress after the surgery. It was reassuring to me that my ankle was in the hands of intelligent and sincere professionals. Now, some of the radtechs lack charm, and the two front receptionists are, for the most part, humorless. But they are efficient, I suppose.

I have been seeing Dr Kiewiet for over a year and had foot surgery yesterday. He is the best doctor I have seen for my foot. He is very friendly and takes his time to explain things to you and answer any questions. I would highly recommend his to friends and family. He is the best in his field.

He botched a simple Morton's Neuroma surgery. The day after the surgery I had the same pain as before. He did not get all of the nerve. Then said I had a "dropped big toe" and I had a metatarsal issue. Not true at all. Went to Dr. Horton at KU Med who finished the removal of the nerve.

Since my prior review I have had my foot amputated. I got tired of the pain that 3 other surgeons said they could not fix. I won't get into the details about what they told me. Stay away from this guy!

After a severe heel injury in 2014 Dr. Kiewiet took the time to learn my medical history and got to know me personally before jumping into scrubs, sharpening his scalpel, and scheduling the OR. I appreciated his honesty, his empathy, and, most of all, his courteous action of listening to me and my concerns rather than opting for an immediate procedure.
